Members of our military pledge their loyalty to the Constitution. Its First Amendment guarantees freedom of religion. So, it would be perverse to force men and women in uniform to abandon their deeply held religious beliefs to serve their country. Yet that’s what’s happening regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandates--for which the normal rules seem not to apply.(Snip)But whatever your view, this is clearly an ethical and theological dispute. The military is denying requests for religious exemptions because ill-informed officials disagree with the theological views of service members under their command.

The senior leadership of the DOD is violating the constitution thereby nullifying their oaths of office i.e. solemnly swear to support and defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. The patriots currently on active duty need to explore those words foreign and Domestic and ask their commanders what those words mean. This needs accelerated at warp speed to the Supreme Court for immediate ruling.

in certain european countries years ago this was called “aryanization “ ( riding the country of differing religions ) It was cancel culture .1 Diesn’t “cancel culture sound ever so much better than the terms used in the 1940’s ? but the intent is the same so far without the oven aspect .. no way “the other” can be allowes socialize, pray , be employed, schooled .. camps to come ?

yes, the vaccine uses a cell line from an aborted baby, and it is very bad but a user can judge that the good outweights the bad, if the person thinks the vaccine is a good one. So the way it looks to me, if a person inside his or her own head thinks this vaccine saves lives, then it is OK to take it, but if the person inside their own head is just trying to make the neighbors leave them alone, then that is not necessarily a good enough reason to use dead baby parts. I invite people to tell me off because I am no philosopher and probably wrong.

I read these articles and hear these news stories, and I get sick to my stomach. My worst fears, the DemLeft getting their dream come true of destroying the greatest military, the most ethical, the most moral military faults and all. There has been NO OTHER FOREIGN MILITARY desired to be seen coming over the horizon by defeated people than the US Military.
And this blankety blank regime is trying to finish the demonic work of BO (and the Left, foreign and domestic).

#3 -- history is replete with examples of atrocities committed for the "greater good." Situational ethics can justify any crime if there is no moral standard by which to make the call. If a robber steals money and buys food for his family, and the victim had been saving up for an XBox, is that a crime? Yes, it is.
Is what you mean to say is that the decision properly belongs in the domain of the individual? I can agree with that.

A federal contractor friend jumped through about 30 days of hoops, papers to read, forms filled out, more forms filled out, and interviews with very pointed questions.....and finally managed to get a religious exemption and keep his job. He's about 18 months from retirement, and very much needs to put that money into the retirement fund to make it work.
The military is all about following orders and the Puke In Charge, Austin has basically ordered them to get everyone vaccinated.
