Earlier today, Senator Ted Cruz attempted to regain his J6 credibility with questions to the DOJ and FBI about the day’s events.
The Senate Judiciary Committee hearing provided the backdrop for an urgently needed modification to the marionette strings. Capitalizing on the opportunity, Senator Ted Cruz (U-DC) asked Jill Sanborn, Executive Assistant Director, National Security Branch at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, about any law enforcement participation in the events of Jan. 6.

Cruz is out. Tipped his hand already.
One of them, along with the Fox Network and the Republican Senators, all, and all the rest.
Sundance is, as usual, right on the money.
Drill down and read the combox to 'MLK'.

Yeah, the "January 6th Commission" qualifies as a honest and trusted source of information. I expect that by an "interview," that means they sent Epps a bouquet of flowers and a Starbucks gift card.
Even Stalin and his henchman Beria ("Find me the man, I'll find the crime) would be embarrassed by that bunch.

Ted is DONE. Never, ever to be trusted again. Showed that he is actually a Deep State employee.
Bye, Ted. Never another vote, never another dollar.
DONE.

Screw Ted Cruz. He has been caught more than once letting his conservative mask slip doing stupid things like calling the J6 nonsense a violent attempt to overthrow the government. He's a big fraud, just like his buddy Mike Lee. All hat and no cattle.
It's too bad that the choice is either sticking with this hump, or getting someone like Beta to replace him. I find it very hard to believe we can't find a better conservative that Cruz in the state of Texas.

I truly believe that Ted Cruz was a solid conservative and one of the sharpest minds in politics the first day he set foot in Washington DC.
But like with any politician that spends a few years in DC, he was infected by "swamp-itis", and it has destroyed him. The lust for power and wealth has destroyed any credibility and principals he used to have.
And the only cure for DC "swamp-itis" is term limits!!! 2 terms in Congress (2 in the House or Senate, or 1 term in each), then you go home to your real life again. No retirements. No special perks. Just be a citizen legislator for 2 terms maximum, and then you are done. I have no doubt that it would have saved Ted Cruz (and so many others) from going down in flames like he currently is.

Texas needs to be looking for a replacement for Cruz. It will be like, as one poster said on another thread, Diogenes of Sinope's search for an honest man. Good luck, they are mighty thin on the ground these days.

Teddy is the worst of creepy crooked pols. Lacking in any moral center! Cruz would sell his wife for a few votes! He’s already sold his soul to the deep state! He’s pathetic!

It wasn't Cruz who waltzed straight into a J6 democrat/media planned ambush but he gets to be the fall guy for trying to out the ambushers. I get it that there is strong sentiment that FPDJT has never made a mistake and that anyone who dares cross him should be sent straight down the hole in the outhouse seat; however, when fighting off a communist take-over of our country, accepting only perfect fighters does not a viable fighting force make. While Cruz has his political and personal flaws, as do we all, he at least votes conservative, unlike Sen Romney and his ilk masquerading as conservative republicans.

Ironic that #5 calls for term limits as an answer for people being in Washington for too long in reference to Ted Cruz. He has recently been one of very few representatives in D.C. actually pushing for term limits for exactly that same reason.
Ted might be able to add more to #5's argument than we already know.

Ted is not as "solid" as we would like - especially with his "vote your conscience" non-endorsement at the 2016 convention, and last week's "terrorist" snafu. He deserves a trip to the woodshed.
But when he grew the beard he has been an effective player for the MAGA team.
Let's just hope he truly "repents" and becomes a reliable MAGA player going forward. We should wait and see, and forgive if he does. We're in a difficult war, and need all the help we can get.
Remember that Stalin and the Chinese - for their own reasons - helped us win WWII. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". We win by flipping more "enemies" to our side.
We lose if we don't.

Ted is just for Ted, I'm afraid. That's the potential trouble with some smart and talented people, they rarely acknowledge anything bigger than themselves.

Agreed, #12 et al. But can you name a dozen politicians (including Donald J. Trump, who I support) who aren't narcissistic? That seems to be a personality "requirement" for the courage to get into the fray. (The "I can do this better" syndrome.)
Remember the flaws of the prophets (especially David) who God used for His purposes. Remember what Lincoln said about Grant's drinking. You fight with the generals you have.
