Attorney General Merrick B. Garland on Wednesday defended the Justice Department’s efforts to prosecute those responsible for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. In a prepared speech on the eve of the one-year anniversary of the attack, Mr. Garland said “there is no higher priority” for the department. “The Justice Department remains committed to holding all Jan. 6 perpetrators, at any level, accountable under law—whether they were present that day or were otherwise criminally responsible for the assault on our democracy,” he said. “We will follow the facts wherever they lead.”
The attorney general’s comments come amid criticism that he and his investigators are focusing
Waiting for the perp-walk of Ray Epps and the others who were leading the charge into the Capitol.
Don't worry, AG Garland, you have video to help you out.

You mean this is an even higher priority than pervert rights, and making sure DoJ is fully woke?
You are on thin ice here, Garland. You better get with the program and swear proper fealty to the extreme leftist agenda. Get your priorities in order, son.
Fentanyl is pouring over the border. There is crime and violence everywhere that has increased exponentially over the past year. 17 cities (all run by Bolshies) set homicide records this year. But, the highest priority of Justus is to prosecute some tresspassing and unlawful entry charges at the Capitol. How many charges of 'insurrection' has Justus leveled (hint: none)?
Who was Ashli Babbitt?

Finding 12 idiots on a jury who will agree to guilt may be a problem. Every defendant should be demanding a speedy trial.

Merrick does a pretty good job running the secret poliice. And since he has his house courts in DC, not only can he indict a ham sandwich, he can get it convicted and executed before lunch.
And Ray Epps, hey, he was on their payroll. Just like the kindap-the-inept-lady-Governor-in-Michigan plotters.

you Sir have had a full YEAR...with them locked away, uncharged, no bail offered. Murderers, armed robbers, bank robbers, child molesters, human traffickers, drug kingpins, do not wait a YEAR to be charged, do not get held for a YEAR with no Bail.
Clearly your "Top Priority" is not to try and convict these people...it is merely to "Hold" these people. Your "Justice" dept is declining to prosecute gun runners, gang bangers, cartel mules and MANY arsonists, flushing thousands from Jails and Prisons in complete contradiction to their Legally Adjudicated and imposed sentences AFTER convictions.
Th "Extreme Damage" these people(or some few of them ) perpetrated was entirely FIXED within a matter of Days, the Congress was able to reconvene the SAME day.
The standard for the Speedy Trials Act "Charge& Try, or Dismiss" is 180 days. YOU have used twice that, and still have not even charged them.
These people are by Definition "Political Prisoners" and you "Sir" are currently holding MORE political prisoners than the very worst of the "Rogue Regimes" scattered around the globe.

Rep. Gallego and former Sen McCaskill want to see the organizers persecuted. So do I! However we would be looking at different people being persecuted for the organizing of the Jan 6 incident. I would suspect that if the true organizers were persecuted, we would see a bunch of planted FBI personnel and Democrat Party Senators and Reps perp walked into court for arraignment. Some Capitol Police officers might also be included for good measure with their involvement.

DoJ under AG Garland is morally no different than the infamous Stasi. Brings to mind Jefferson's famous admonition - The tree of liberty needs to be occasionally nourished with the blood of tyrants. My fear is there might not be any other options left.

#8 has it. Reichstag, again, only this time in the United States of America. These people need to be completely out of power. Naturally, Ubama wanted to put this servile little leftist punk onto the Supreme Court. Of course, he would.

Former senator McCaskill needs to return home to Missouri and spend her time counting her money. I guess she just can't let go of the brass ring.

The investigation should be an easy slam dunk for Strictly Nonpartisan Merrick the Rat, seeing how the patriotic agency folks who instigated the attack are in his employ.
