Speaking to governor's today about Covid, President Joe Biden claimed that "there is no federal solution" to delivering more wide-spread testing. It was last year that Biden vowed to "shut down the virus." (Tweet) "We got to beat it back before we shut it down. Look, it's going to take time worldwide. In order to be COVID, we have to shut it down worldwide," he said as he announced new federal measures to beat back the scourge. "Look, there is no federal solution," Biden said in response to a question from Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson. "This gets solved at the state level." (Video)  CORRECTION*

No federal mandates of any kind. That will do the trick. Oh, and cut all federal funding to states that insist on facemasks. Watch how quickly covid is then treated like a bad cold season.

If this was President Trump, the media would be chalking this up as a "lie", right? Interesting that he makes this type of statement now, ahead of the SCOTUS hearing. Maybe they've been tipped off by some on the liberal side that even they don't see a Federal mandate as Constitutional? There are no coincidences with democrats, remember. Wasn't President Trump scolded by the democrats for not forcing a Federal action, which he knew was not something he could do, and he allowed the States to do what they needed with assistance from FEMA?

The “man” is a caricature. A joke. A gutless wonder. The face of Obama’s third term headed by the despicable Ron Klain. He never had a plan. He never had an original idea in his life. Heck, he even stole someone’s life and presented it as his own. He used a panic stricken nation, thanks little Tony, and played on people’s fears. Biden and his wife aren’t the brightest people to occupy the White House.

I agree with other posters. If there is NO federal solution why is he allowing Fauci to continually drive one in the media. If he’s blaming state governors for test shortages, then leave ALL Covid decisions to the states the way it should have been from the beginning. Drop the mandates including masks on air travel and for employers. Mandates are unwanted federal solutions.

Here we see Biden trying to bail out of his responsibility to nationally manage the COVID pandemic by now claiming that there is no federal solution to that serious international situation, and effectively trying to toss that political hot potato onto the backs of the Republican Governors. But remember back during the presidential campaign when Biden was publicly blaming Trump and was repeatedly telling the American people that he had a plan to shutdown COVID. But now it is obvious the Biden had no such plan. It will be interesting to see how the media will play Biden’s flip flop on COVID, as if the federal government has no solution to shutdown COVID, then Biden should not be putting out all sorts of federal mandates. Historically the stupidest people of all regarding this current Biden fiasco, are the voters of Delaware who kept re-electing the totally incompetent Biden as their US Senator for about 40 years.

The House of Representatives has passed a bill that seeks to eradicate blasphemy against Islam. The bill, H.R. 5665, is truly remarkable as it amounts to Congress making a law respecting the establishment of Islam and reducing the United States government into a tool of the world’s ayatollahs. The actual text of the bill not only seeks to eradicate blasphemy against Islam around the world – and solely against Islam at that – but even requires the federal government to reorganize some portions of the State Department along the lines of an Islamic religious institution which will be responsible for interpreting the Quran.
