FBI Director Christopher Wray's assessment that the far-left antifa network is an ideology, not a group or an organization, is coming under fire this week after prosecutors in San Diego charged several self-described anti-fascists in connection with eight alleged assaults. Antifa is "not a group or an organization," Wray testified before the House Homeland Security Committee last year. "It's a movement or an ideology."

Comments:

Before we get all riled up - - let's not forget - - that Fey Wray saved 25% - - by changing the brand of toner used in FBI photocopy machines. He'll always be remembered for that.

Why do conservative presidents have such a dismal record in appointing everyone from SC justices to FBI to other regulatory leaders? The same goes for conservative presidents who do not build the party (e.g., the Bushes) and think beyond their terms. Wray is one of the great failures of Donald Trump, but it was not unexpected that a political outsider would make mistakes in the alien environment of Washington. The real problem is that the GOP is a failure as a political party and must be reformed to weed out the RINO's and the weak sisters to form a coherent force to govern. I think that PDT has done more to reform the GOP than anyone since Ronald Reagan, but this will take a long time to salvage what remains of the GOP. However, I think that he has a greater role as a supporter of new conservative blood than as a candidate for President. I hope that he will step aside and allow new blood to reinvigorate the conservative movement

I'm guessing that Faye Wray is going to have to have a stern talking to to those FBI agents who are harrassing those innocent fine Antifa and BLM folks in San Diego. He may even hold a training seminar for them as well. Why Trump did not fire this sorry blankety-blank the day after the 2020 election is still beyond me.

If I remember correctly, Wray [D-FBI] was appointed by The President on the recommendation of Fatso from NJ who had earlier retained Comrade Wray to save his fat*** on the bridge scandal. Just another pathetic example of the overall uselessness of the Republican Party, so full of traitors, turncoats, wannabes and outright demorats. Almost ALL of The President's problems were caused by traitors to America like Comrade Wray [D-FBI]

President Biden has signed a series of executive orders to make the federal government carbon neutral. The Democrat president on Wednesday ordered federal agencies to purchase electric vehicles, harness wind, solar, and nuclear energy to power facilities, and to use sustainable building materials. The goal is for the federal government to stop adding carbon dioxide to the atmosphere by 2050. In the next decade, Biden wants the government to cease purchasing electricity produced from sources that emit carbon dioxide. By 2035, the administration wants all new federal cars and truck purchases to be zero-emissions. Right now, only about 1.5% of the government fleet is electric vehicles.

The discovery of a set of bones roughly 200,000 years old — those of a relatively recent ancestor to modern humans — is helping scientists determine the "archaeological signatures" of the long-vanished archaic human species. He said he talked with Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) about the shooting. “I think she knew somebody who was there,” he said. “I’m not — I don’t know anybody who was injured.”

Kenosha police say they pulled Morrison over because he was following a block behind the bus, and drive through a red light at one point. MSNBC was barred from the court room after the incident. Morrison told police that a supervisor (NBC producer Irene Byon) instructed him to follow the bus. Now that the footage is out, the incident looks even sketchier than described

Other people were seen wiping away tears. Among those in the crowd was Arbery’s mother, Wanda Cooper-Jones, who stood with Rev. The 2018 midterm elections sent a shiver through national Republicans not only because several prominent House Republicans lost their seats. It was also where they lost them that concerned GOP party leaders. The Democrats gained 41 seats in the House in 2018. But Republicans consoled themselves by picking up two additional Senate seats. The problem for the GOP was not that they couldn’t win statewide elections. The problem was that they were losing control of one of their primary strongholds: big-city suburbs and exurbs. That spelled trouble for holding on to their House majority. Specific demographic groups had abandoned Republicans in droves, including suburban moms and single women.

The court ruled Friday that a lawsuit by abortion providers in Texas can move forward but left the ban on abortions after about six weeks in place as challenges are being litigated. The high court punted the law's legality. Its action today sends the case by abortion providers back to a district court, which could lead to it being suspended.
