Fox Christmas Tree Arson Suspect Released
Without Bail

The arsonist who allegedly torched the Fox News Christmas tree was freed after his arraignment Wednesday night because his charges were not eligible for bail under new liberal reform laws. “I didn’t do it!” suspect Craig Tamanaha, 49, claimed to reporters outside Manhattan criminal court after being asked about the early morning arson that caused about $500,000 in damage outside the Midtown building that houses Fox News, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post.

Comments:

What a disgrace to do this damage and be released without bail....They both should be doing time....he and the judge that released him...what the left has done with bail reform is also a disgrace...Bye, Bye New York....

"New York, New York, what a wonderful town" those lyrics seem to have been belied over the years. Now, "New York, New York what an Effin Dump" seems more appropriate.

That tree cost 1/2 million dollars. He could torch a house and still get out as well and the person would be out a house.

FTA: Under New York law, arson is only a felony if the suspect tries to harm a person or commits a hate crime, he clarified. So, in New York, an arsonist who torches 10 city blocks can walk with a misdemeanor charge? This cannot be true. I don’t believe it.

It sure has been a blessing inflicting waves of the mentally ill upon society, hasn't it? Criminals, mental defectives and the trash of the third world. We used to have enough common sense to lock these people away from society. Now we are more compassionate. Do citizens even have a voice anymore?

These guys are getting released without bail because: 1. They need to get out and steal stuff to pay their drug pushers. 2. If they stay in jail too long they will become an unpleasant problem due to missing their drug fix. 3. If they can't steal stuff and pay their drug pushers then the Democrat party will begin to lose financial support.

The bounds & bonds of a normal & civil society are being removed. The more chaos the better seems to be what the Marxists et al are fomenting. Normal is bad, normal is boring, normal must be squashed & mocked. Yes, of course he was let go - he is a POC & insane. Andrew Yang - who ran for NYC mayor called it what it was last Spring - insane people are not homeless because of high cost housing - they are without shelter because they refuse to behave in a relatively civilized manor. Tucker Carlson noted this last night. Insane people take drugs, do self harm, they get drunk in public, they hit people without cause. They cannot live safely with other people. They are given a pass because they are "mentally ill." Society & now the courts thus excuse their bad behavior because the logic 'says' that the illness is not their fault.

Over the past half century or so, American law enforcement and popular culture have conferred an extra level of seriousness and gravity to “hate crimes” as opposed to regular crimes. The definition of a hate crime, according to the FBI, is a regular crime with an added element of bias. “A ‘criminal’ offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender’s bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, or gender identity,” the FBI.gov website states.

A home invasion event is terrifying. Some of my relatives experienced a very violent home invasion recently. Thankfully, they were lucky and were able to defend themselves. But, it could have been much more tragic. A home invasion is often very sudden. There is no way to know for sure if there are multiple intruders. You also don’t know their intentions. But, you do know one thing… they just committed a felony… which means they probably don’t have inhibitions about committing another felony. And they probably don’t want any witnesses to their crime. You must assume the worst… that they are there with violent intent.

DAVIS, Calif. — Banana peels, chicken bones and leftover veggies won't have a place in California trashcans under the nation's largest mandatory residential food waste recycling program that's set to take effect in January. The effort is designed to keep landfills in the most populous U.S. state clear of food waste that damages the atmosphere as it decays. When food scraps and other organic materials break down they emit methane, a greenhouse gas more potent and damaging in the short-term than carbon emissions from fossil fuels. To avoid those emissions, California plans to start converting residents' food waste into compost or

President Biden has signed a series of executive orders to make the federal government carbon neutral. The Democrat president on Wednesday ordered federal agencies to purchase electric vehicles, harness wind, solar, and nuclear energy to power facilities, and to use sustainable building materials. The goal is for the federal government to stop adding carbon dioxide to the atmosphere by 2050. In the next decade, Biden wants the government to cease purchasing electricity produced from sources that emit carbon dioxide. By 2035, the administration wants all new federal cars and truck purchases to be zero-emissions. Right now, only about 1.5% of the government fleet is electric vehicles.

Newly resurfaced video appears to show a US attorney appointed by President Joe Biden angrily confronting journalists in an expletive-ridden tirade in January 2021. Biden tapped Suffolk Country District Attorney Rachael Rollins to lead the US Attorney's Office in Massachusetts in July. On Wednesday she made history as the first black woman to be confirmed in the role by the Senate, when Vice President Kamala Harris broke a 50-50 tie along party lines. But in footage recorded by Boston 25 News earlier in the year, Rollins angrily threatens a news team with legal action and accuses them of endangering her children for asking for an interview near her home.
