House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) ambitions of keeping the Democrat majority in the House of Representatives past the midterm elections next year are dwindling as droves of vulnerable Democrats have announced they are leaving their current seats to either retire or seek a different office instead of fighting in a brutal reelection. Republicans only need to net five seats to pick up the House majority after the midterms. So far, more than triple the amount of Democrats (18 total) have decided to officially call it quits on the House and have left their seats open for a fight, giving Republicans a chance to gain another seat since House Republicans

So.. if the Reps win control of the HofR, is the congress critter where PDT lives a dem or Rep? If a Rep, he/she should resign. The FL Gov can appoint PDT to fill the seat. The House votes for PDT to be Speaker of the House. The fur will fly!

Sadly, the "R" after a politician's name can stand for Republi-CAN or Republi-CAN'T. We need to work a lot harder in the primaries to make sure we get the "cans" and not the "can'ts", or we aren't any better off than if a Demon-rat wins the general election!!!

Republians remind me of s dog I once had. He was not the brightest bulb in the house. There were many times I would mix up his food using dog food and cooked people food...chicken, fish, even steak leftovers from the barbeque. Other dogs wolfed it down. I would set the food down in front of "Jack." He would then whine and look at me as if to say "Now what do i do?" Republican have a golden opportunity to make big gains...right in front of them. The one thing I really think is stealing a lot of elections in PA are the ballot boxes all over Philadelphia. These ballot boxes are illegal and our lawmakers are not doing anything about them. They are unwatched which means people can ballot harvest (illegal) and do a dump at night. This is crazy. We in PA have a group of spineless lawmakers.

My take on this. If every democrat would decide not to seek re-election, it wouldn’t matter a bit if our election process is still controlled by the democrat party. Do you believe they don’t have a plan to steal what they cannot win again? They surely do. Because they were not held accountable last time, they will become more empowered to rig the election this time around. Look at what they are doing to this country. Do you honestly believe that election theft is even wrong in their minds? It is necessary to keep them in power, therefore, it will be their strategy again. You rarely hear a word about the election theft of 2020 and when you do, it is immediately rejected as a lie with much ridicule. Where are those results, Arizona? Was that just an exercise to placate those of us who believe there was massive fraud? We are not going to forget what happened because we know Republican led legislatures with zero integrity decided to allow democrats to change their states election laws by bypassing the legislature. They received little or no no challenge from Republicans which enabled them to change their election laws which they legally had no right to do. 2020 was a bloodless coup with both parties participating along with the judiciary. Now look what that treachery has wrought upon this country? We have never been in such dire straits in our history and it was all an inside job with both parties participating. Politics is a dirty business and there are very few with clean hands and that is why democrats were able to steal the election. This is a terrible state of affairs we have gotten ourselves into because one party is evil and the other lacks courage. Add into that mix a little help from our enemies both foreign and domestic and you have the perfect storm and every American is paying a very high price for this treachery.

#5, House vacancies typically are not filled by appointed people, probably because House seats come up for election every two years. And we should realize that if Bigmouth Bass from California doesn't run for reelection, her majority minority seat will be filled by another black dimocrat. Same with Val Demings seat.. Finally, DJT could be appointed Speaker of the House without holding a House seat, but he would not be a good choice. Newt would be.

Don't light up cigars just yet! A number of Republicans have also announced they are leaving to try for higher office or they are just throwing in the towel to get a higher paying job as a lobbyist. Two other issues: a) The new Republican majority won't step into office until the day after New Year's 2023. Alot of damage can and will be done by Nasty before that date and b) as we have seen under Paul Ryan, holding the House doesn't really get you what you want ... especially if Kevin McCarthy becomes Speaker.

Then they said "give us the Senate too and we'll change everything". We gave them the Senate and then..nothing. Yet again they said "give us the Presidency too and we'll change everything". We gave them the Presidency and then... they fought against everything trump tried to do that was good for the country. The Reps and Dems are two sides of the same corrupt coin. I do not have faith in the repub leadership to take advantage of this maelstrom boiling up in the demcommie party. they have proven time and time again that they are, at the least, listless and weak when it comes to taking the reins of governing and have more times than a few allowed the demcommies to run them out of town, in the capitol. In 2016 they had the perfect example of how to make things work in the person of our President but, even then, they dropped the ball on the 10 yard line and started running toward the locker room. clean sweep down fore and aft on some of the RINO's and rubber spined repubs, get them out before they do any more damage and find more candidates like the 5 Navy SEALS who are in the run for congress. Support our SEALS and gt them into congress.

A judge blocked the federal government on Monday from mandating COVID-19 vaccinations for health care workers in Missouri and nine other states. U.S. District Judge Matthew Schelp in the Eastern District of Missouri wrote in his ruling that regulations handed down by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid earlier this month were issued improperly. The agency did not get approval from Congress to mandate vaccinations for health care workers, Schelp wrote, which he argued was necessary given the mandate's "vast economic and political significance." The rules were also issued without a standard period for public comment, which Schelp said the agency's justification for was not suitable.

A culprit is emerging from the supply chain crisis in the minds of voters and it's not good news for Democrats. Here's what a new poll from I&I/TIPP, via Issues & Insights' Terry Jones, has found: ...the November I&I/TIPP Poll shows Americans overwhelmingly blame our Potomac-based political class for the current problems. The poll asked: “In general, how responsible are politicians in Washington for recent increases in gasoline and food prices?” The answer suggests coal (or perhaps tiny solar panels?) in many politicians’ stockings this year: 69% of those responding said politicians were responsible, while just 21% said they weren’t. Perhaps the most surprising result comes from looking at the political breakdown.

The WHO has warned the new Omicron Covid super-mutant poses a 'very high' risk to the global pandemic recovery with 'severe consequences' possible if it causes a new wave of infections. 'Omicron has an unprecedented number of mutations, some of which are concerning for their potential impact on the trajectory of the pandemic,' the WHO said, amid fears the new variant is much more infectious than previous strains including Delta. 'The overall global risk related to the new variant ...is assessed as very high.'(Snip)'Omicron demonstrates just why the world needs a new accord on pandemics: our current system disincentivizes countries from alerting others to threats that will inevitably
The “Nuclear Option” for Kamala? 33 replies

I suggested last week that negative stories about Kamala Harris that ran on CNN and over at Politico were surely planted by the Biden political staff at the White House, but I’m not sure whether the same can be said about today’s much more savage story in The Telegraph: “With Kamala Harris looking unelectable, the Democrats are considering the nuclear option.” Unlike the Daily Mail, which sensationalizes news from the U.S. in tabloid style—though it must be said that it is often reporting stories the U.S. mainstream media avoids—The Telegraph is a staid broadsheet. Thus, some of the content of this story is all the more astounding for the panic

Gov. Charlie Baker expects a state-sanctioned COVID-19 vaccination passport program to be implemented in Massachusetts and several other states soon. During an appearance on GBH News' Boston Public Radio, Baker said a scannable quick response code, commonly known as a QR code, would show a person's vaccination status and be made available for others to scan and verify. "It's a universal standard and we've been working with a bunch of other states, there's probably 15 or 20 of them, to try to create a single QR code that can be used for all sorts of things where people may choose to require a vaccine," Baker said

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), who previously served as White House physician under Barack Obama and Donald Trump, has a disturbing theory about the Omicron variant. On Saturday, Jackson suggested that Democrats will use the Omicron variant to push for universal mail-in voting for the 2022 midterm elections and save their party from an electoral bloodbath next year. “Here comes the MEV – the Midterm Election Variant!” Jackson tweeted. “They NEED a reason to push unsolicited nationwide mail-in ballots. Democrats will do anything to CHEAT during an election – but we’re not going to let them!” Reaction to the Omicron variant has been mixed. Some countries, including the United States,

We’ve heard of people with stinky feet taking off their shoes. We have heard of people listening to music or watching a movie without headphones. We’ve heard of people with “emotional support falcons.” But I promise you, this is a new one for us all.According to Newsweek, a woman on a recent flight between Syracuse, NY, and Atlanta, GA decided to give all of her fellow passengers a sight to see. The woman attempted to swaddle and breastfeed her cat. Yes, you read that right. Even worse is that after she was requested by flight personnel to put the cat and her breast away, she refused. From Newsweek:

President Joe Biden on Monday urged Americans to get vaccinated or get their booster shots amid warnings about the spread of the Omicron variant–but insisted that the infectious new variant was not a cause for 'panic' and said no new restrictions were needed. 'We'll fight this variant with scientific and knowledgeable actions and speed, not chaos and confusion,' Biden said at the White House. But even amid the pressing nature of the new variant, Biden misstated the name of the variant. 'It's called the Omnicron,' he said, inserting an extra 'n'–an error his coronavirus advisor, Dr. Anthony Fauci, who was standing in the background, also committed.

There are significant policy-related differences between men and women. And it is likely in our best interest as police officers to capitalize on the differences and use them to our advantage. While on the other side, if the differences cause challenges, change our method of training to accommodate the differences. A video that we’ve received today shows why male and female cops should work together! Officials say Forsberg found 21-year-old Ari Young outside the home, and he became combative with her. Cellphone video shot from within a home on Cabazon Court begins as the man identified as Young is slugging Forsberg in the head.
