The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) tweeted a release Tuesday advising city residents to “cooperate and comply” when being robbed. The release begins: Due to an increase in violent street robberies, Robbery-Homicide Division has become aware of an ongoing crime trend of follow-home robberies. Suspects have been locating victims in Los Angeles, following them, and then committing the robberies as the victim arrives home or at their business. … These crimes have occurred throughout the City of Los Angles as well as neighboring cities. Different suspects have been identified and arrested for these types of crimes.

Depends on the situation whether I will comply or fight back. Sometimes they want money, other times they plan on killing you no matter whether you cooperate or not. Each person has to make their own call on this one.

And I assume that women will now be told to "just lay back and enjoy it" while they are being raped.

In other words, don't rebel when the Government robs taxpayers blind... Got it.
How about let's have an official organization to fight crime and punish robbers, instead? Maybe we could call it the "police" for old times' sake.

In related LA news..........November 11, 2021..........
"George Soros-backed Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón is being criticized again for his lenient approach to violent crime — this time over the imminent release of a convicted murderer just six years into a 50-year sentence."
"In the 2020 election, Gascón defeated incumbent Jackie Lacie, the first African American woman to hold the post, after Black Lives Matter activists targeted her. George Soros donated millions of dollars to Gascón’s campaign, and members of the Democratic establishment endorsed him. In a particularly ugly move, L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti withdrew his endorsement of Lacey and backed Gascón."
PS "Gascón had previously served as D.A. of San Francisco"
Elections have consequences.

At the same time they should be advising robbers to “cooperate and comply” with the residents if they don't want to be filled with holes.

I have known so many police officers in my life. All good men who I would trust to protect and defend my family no matter the cost.
Sadly, I can't say the same about police chiefs and commissioners. It's like they get that promotion, and they become petty government bureaucrats who forget why they became cops or what their vocation is about.
If the police refuse to protect you, you have a Constitutional right to protect yourself. Please don't forget that people of Los Angeles!!!!!

We happily cooperate and comply with the robbers in our government, so why should we treat freelance robbers any differently?

If I kick their asses will you, Mr. LAPD cooperate in looking the other way? Why is it I don't think so? Is the LAPD getting a cut from the robbers? Because they certainly aren't doing there job protecting the citizenry!
Defund the LAPD - they aren't doing their jobs, why should they draw a paycheck. Just get out of the way and we'll do this Wild Wild West style, and leave bodies in the street.

The best advice is don't give the criminals an easy opportunity. Be alert - especially in parking garages or large parking lots. Keep your car, home, and garage doors locked.
