Former President Donald Trump in remarks at the National Republican Congressional Committee dinner Monday openly blasted the 13 congressional Republicans who supported President Biden’s infrastructure bill in a vote Friday. Fox News Digital has confirmed from sources at the dinner that the former president criticized the 13 Republican defectors in a lengthy speech Monday night in a room where at least one of them, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, was present. The House of Representatives voted 228-206 on Friday to pass the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, which could not have passed without the support of the 13 Republicans who pushed it through despite opposition from six progressive Democratic members of the House.

Stories are running in NH about the $1.5 Billion we will be getting. Based on our population relative the rest of the US, we should be getting three times that amount. Unfortunately, most of the dollars are going to the big democratic cities and states. Hopefully our Republican politicians will emphasize this.

"Sticks and stones ..", and all that. GOP leaders and key members are tied to globalist donors, the K-street merry-go-round, and their "Washington Generals" role in swamp politics. That, IMO, will NEVER change. They are simply "waiting out" Donald Trump and MAGA supporters. When the party is more beholden to its voters than its aforementioned power source, only then can it change. Don't hold your breath. That is why the ONLY real solution is a new party, with all the drawbacks to that. That is a hill we must climb, and the longer we delay, the less likely we can succeed. As we honor veterans this week, they are watching all they risked and sacrificed for betrayed by a party that does not have their "back". Like them, we must "suck it up" and do what must be done, no matter how difficult and how high the cost. God help America.

Part of what gets me is...the blatant dishonesty. Sure some/most of this will be covered by "Unspent" Covid Emergency funds, but...THAT was allocated for COVID emergencies, not anything else. All unspent funds should have been returned, removed from spending availability. Not a mad scramble to find something else to use it for. It wasn't/isn't a pile of cash sitting someplace, it was a debt ceiling increase to allow emergency spending...THIS is not that Emergency. PLUS...if not spent it equals deficit reduction, under Trump. I'm still more than a little "Miffed" that TARP funds under Bush were/are counted as "Deficits" blamed on him, then when they were all repaid, and at a profit...the "Deficit Reduction" was/is credited to Obama.

We are encouraged to get rid of the RINOs - but the BIGGEST ones - the ones in leadership stay. As they go, the party goes. Remember McCain. He did so much damage and was embraced, feted and awarded by the GOP till he left earth. He mocked real conservatives. NOW the list of RINOs is huge and in 2022, we will only get rid of some but with big RINO Mitch & Kevin in charge of House and Senate Republicans. I hope the 13 Republicans were scared Trump nailed them publicly but they had McCarthy’s blessing so they may not care.

Florida Gov. "If they’re going to come here, we’ll provide buses," DeSantis said of the migrants on the flights. "I will send them to Delaware and do that. If he’s not going to support the border being secure, then he should be able to have everyone there," he said.

As in the 1880s, we live in an era of polarized partisan parity, in which changes of opinion among independent voters can sweep election results. One year ago, Joe Biden was elected president with 51% of the popular vote. Now, with his job approval below 43%, his party is in trouble. That’s obvious from Republican Glenn Youngkin’s 51-49 victory to become governor in Virginia, which Joe Biden won by 10 points in 2020, and Democrat Phil Murphy’s reelection by only 51-49 in New Jersey, which had gone Biden +16. It’s obvious also that, barring a sudden shift in public opinion, Democrats will surely lose their narrow House majority and

Schroeder accused Binger of trying to improperly introduce testimony that he said earlier he wasn't inclined to include. Before the results of the Virginia governor's race were in, many on the Left were scrambling to find an explanation for the surprising lead the Republican candidate, Glenn Youngkin, was enjoying. Of course, to the rest of us, this was no surprise; the myriad concerns Americans are facing provided adequate explanation for voters' impatience with the Democrats, from the COVID-19 pandemic to inflation to supply chain shortages to political polarization. And yet, rather than look to these explanations, the mainstream media, seemingly in unison, settled on a single culprit: white supremacy.

If there’s anything that liberal elites, especially Black liberal elites, hate more than white rednecks, it’s Black conservatives. Elites see them as sellouts, or “Uncle Toms.” MSNBC host Joy Reid once referred to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas as “Uncle Clarence.” And since they’re not related, it was simply a cheap shot at a man whose conservative worldview makes him, in Reid’s view, a traitor to his race. In 1991, then-Rep. Major Owens (D-N.Y.), a Black liberal, testified against Thomas’s confirmation, comparing him to Vidkun Quisling, a Norwegian military officer who collaborated with the Nazis.

The latest indictment by Special Counsel John Durham has created a stir in Washington as the investigation into the Russian collusion scandal exposed new connections to the Clinton campaign. The indictment of Igor Danchenko exposes additional close advisers to Hillary Clinton who allegedly pushed discredited and salacious allegations in the Steele dossier. However, one of the most interesting new elements was the role of a liberal think tank, the Brookings Institution, in the alleged effort to create a false scandal of collusion. Indeed, Brookings appears so often in accounts related to the Russian collusion scandal that it could be Washington’s alternative to the Kevin Bacon parlor game.

"To my good friend ... A Great Democrat." Those words written to a Russian figure in Moscow, inside a copy of a Hillary Clinton autobiography, may be the defining line of special counsel John Durham’s investigation. The message reportedly was written by Charles Dolan, a close Clinton adviser and campaign regular whom news reports identify as the mysterious “PR-Executive 1” in the latest Durham indictment, this time of Igor Danchenko. Danchenko, 43, was a key figure in the compilation of the infamous Steele dossier that led to the now discredited investigation of alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government during the 2016 presidential race.
