At the end of his life Colin Powell became race centered. He had a distinguished career as a soldier and diplomat, but racial matters seemed most important toward the end. Give him credit, many years ago he declared himself to be a "Rockefeller Republican" so for him the term RINO didn't really apply. We all have a built in radar about fellow humans and my screen showed "dislike" when he first emerged as a public figure. His speech to the United Nations about Saddam Hussein's "gas and bugs" with nuclear facilities was dishonest. Little me in the middle of nowhere SoCal listened to him talk and later saw the video. To get us into war, what he said were lies or statements to deceive. He was a stooge for Bush II. My radar was confirmed.

I look at the picture of the line up of assorted douchenozzles and all I can think of is the clique of "kewl kidz" in high school. Turns out the "kewl kidz" were the biggest bunch of loosers in the class. Bums, drunks, drugs and any variety of degeneracy was all they were capable of. They peak in high school and it's all down hill from there. By the way, RINO Powell died from cancer so keep yer pants on.

Yes he did two tours in Vietnam as a junior officer as an advisor to the ARVN. One must not take that away from him. Except for a short tour as a Brigade Commander most of his service was as a staff officer. Where I find fault with Colin Powell is that when he was Secretary of State and the special council was appointed to determine fault for the so called outing of a desk jockey at the CIA he did the unthinkable. He knew all along that one of his underlings, namely Richard Armitage, was the individual that did the deed. Yet he remained mute all the while the special council charade went on and even when one of President Bush's staffers was CONVICTED for a process crime. I will never forgive him for that. It proved that he was no more than another swamp creature who only cared about his own persona.

Special counsel John Durham’s indictment of Igor Danchenko for lying to the FBI details how the false Trump-Russia collusion narrative was developed and fed into the American political ecosystem. The arrest, as it is summarized in a New York Post headline, “illustrates how the Steele dossier was a political dirty trick orchestrated by Hillary Clinton.”So where could the former First Lady have learned these dark arts? It’s starting to look like the roots of Hillary Clinton’s approach to information warfare go back at least to the 1990s. That’s when a lawyer and scandal-monger in the Clinton White House, Chris Lehane, wrote an internal memo entitled “Communication Stream of Conspiracy Commerce.”

According to Axios, Germany is reporting the highest daily number of COVID-19 infections since the pandemic began. New cases across Europe have risen 55% in the past four weeks, according to WHO director Hans Kluge, who says “We are at another critical point of pandemic resurgence.” The WHO says there have been 24,000 deaths and 1.8 million new infections in Europe in just the past week. But most of the serious cases and deaths have occurred in Baltic countries where vaccination rates are low.
