Saturday Night Live skewered Virginia Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin during the show's cold open. Alex Moffat played Youngkin as he appeared as a guest on a mockup of Justice with Judge Jeanine Pirro .
'My win in Virginia proves that people are deeply concerned about education,' Moffat's Youngkin said as he was welcomed onto the show. 'And who are most of your voters?' asked Pirro, played by Cecily Strong said. 'People who didn't go to college,' Youngkin said.

Simply confirms how far removed from Mainstream America these vermins are. There is no limit to the contempt they and those find this garbage humorous deserve.

The reason their ratings are zilch and why I stopped watching years ago. Amazing how they found THIS funny but a sleeping Biden at the climate summit just fine!

Ahhhh. the ELITE! One theory as to why the Dems (and SNL) go down this road even though they engender ire is that THEY think that once the massive socialist bill is passed WE will get used to it and want to keep it. Father Knows Best. What narcissistic idiots. The Gods speak!

Liberals are pretty shaken over actual voters handing them their ass in a blue State. Mocking the winner is their way of desperately reclaiming their superior status and getting a giggle out of it. I doubt that Youngkin will lose any sleep over them in the Governor’s mansion.

Saturday Night Dead.
Got almost halfway through this and NONE of it is funny. I'll carry on with Groucho Marx, Red Skelton, Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, Rodney Dangerfield, and Victor Borge. Actual funny people.

They really ought to rename it Junior High Skit Hour. It's so juvenile that even Junior High skits are funnier these days.

It would take a long and sobering analysis to explain how such a large number of our fellow Americans became this utterly horrid.

It's amazing how many examples one can find in daily life of how much wiser those who have not gone to college are than those brainwashed nitwits who claim to be superior for having spent that short bit of extra time in classrooms. It's not a matter of who sat through more professors' lectures than whom but who uses their knowledge to lead a good and productive life. AOC is only one example and no doubt your children's teachers provide more but this country has millions of overeducated stooges. Now that's funny, SNL, I don't care who you are.

Gee, I remember when SNL was funny. But it was a long, long, long time ago. Heck, even Al Franken was funny.

So SNL, why should the federal government run schools? And why don't the federal government run SNL, since you like it so much? SNL personnel make way more than the average American. How is that fair?

And so once again, the elites equate "college" with "education."
(And don't they include your degree from a state college in that definition.)

If voters (parents) should not have a say in what is taught in schools, school board members should honestly campaign on the theme “we don’t care what voters say, we’re going to do things our way.”

So, what is college good for?. Parents scrape up enough loans to pay for a piece of paper for their brat, who learns nothing but political orientation. But often has an enjoyable several years. Its a rare student who learns something that benefits his occupation or life course. Of course, it does give lots of “professors” a nice title and living in the majority of institutions of “higher learning”.

Every so often my wife says she heard at work the most recent episode was funny. Shrug,ok, let's find out (I know it won't be).
It never is. She's not from this country (her citizenship application has been in process for years) but she's getting the right idea without heavy handed discussions.

#17, I think it was about a quarter century ago. That was about the time when I started to notice it, and decided to cease watching because it appeared that they had replaced their comedy writers with political hacks.

There was a time when SNL did comedy, instead of political propaganda. Just like how MTV used to actually play music videos.

How can SNL be anything else?
It is written , produced, and the problem playing the part all come from the clique of left wing morons.
The sponsors are frightened to death of the left and that is the way it is until the right stops buying from the advertisers of this garbage,

SNL hasn't been funny since the days of Adam Sandler and Eddie Murphy among others. That was decades ago. But trust democrats to not know about the concept of overstaying one's welcome.

My wife and I are both retired engineers. She also has a degree in psychology. Our standing joke is that she can tell me why my Stuff doesn't work AND how I should feel about it.

I wonder if Alex Moffatt or Cecily Strong or the writers at SNL could change tires or oil or batteries on their cars or clean a rifle or replace the filter on their furnaces or turn off the main water valve when a pipe bursts. But they did go to colleges where they had their parents pay upwards of a $500,000 so they could get paid to make fun of people they don’t understand. I could make a cheap shot (no pun intended) at Alec Baldwin but it would be too easy.
