President Joe Biden’s own Department of Justice just laid the smackdown on him after he urged the January 6 House Select Committee to prosecute those who do not comply with a Congressional subpoena. As he was outside the White House on Friday a CNN reporter asked him if those people, like former White House chief strategist Bannon, should be prosecuted. “Mr. President, what’s your message to people who defy Congressional subpoenas on the January 6 committee?” the reporter said. “I hope that the committee goes after them and holds them accountable criminally,” he said. “Should they be prosecuted by the Justice Department?” the reporter pressed. “I do, yes,” the president said.

Fascism is a nebulous term which people throw around as a pejorative, even for minor things.
When asked what they mean by fascism, they're at a loss. Like the word 'racist,' 'fascism' or 'fascist' is typically used by liberals and their ilk to smear their opponents and to cut off debates. As for those who seriously write about fascism, each seems to have their own definition. Perhaps George Orwell said it best in 1946: "The word Fascism has now no meaning except in so far as it signifies 'something not desirable.'"

A recent Fox News poll reported that 59% of Democrats have a favorable view of socialism compared with 49% who have a favorable view of capitalism. A few weeks ago, Nancy Pelosi, while speaking at an event in London, commented that capitalism has not served our country as well as it should.

While no one can blame the residents — in fact they should be applauded for doing what it takes to protect their own – this is, in ways I’ll explain below, not good. It is, however, a sign of things to come in countless Democrat-run cities:
Americans from our earliest days as a nation have rejected authority, especially when it seems arbitrary and comes from government that seems out of touch with ordinary citizens. Such a domain of authority is extremely delicate when it involves the powers of police to protect public order and safety. Colin Powell, 84, died from complications due to Covid-19, his family said Monday.
"General Colin L. Powell, former U.S. Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, passed away this morning due to complications from Covid 19," the Powell family said in a statement posted on his official Facebook page.
“He was fully vaccinated,” they added. “We want to thank the medical staff at Walter Reed National Medical Center for their caring treatment. We have lost a remarkable and loving husband, father, grandfather and a great American.”

The only thing more laughable than Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s claim that spending two months on paternity leave counts as “work” is that the massive infrastructure bill in Congress would do anything to fix the supply chain crisis.
When asked on CNBC why the administration waited so long to take action, Buttigieg responded that “we’ve been working this issue from day one”.
