DOJ Hits Back At Biden, Declares It’s Independence

Original Article

President Joe Biden’s own Department of Justice just laid the smackdown on him after he urged the January 6 House Select Committee to prosecute those who do not comply with a Congressional subpoena. As he was outside the White House on Friday a CNN reporter asked him if those people, like former White House chief strategist Bannon, should be prosecuted. “Mr. President, what’s your message to people who defy Congressional subpoenas on the January 6 committee?” the reporter said. “I hope that the committee goes after them and holds them accountable criminally,” he said. “Should they be prosecuted by the Justice Department?” the reporter pressed. “I do, yes,” the president said.

Comments:

The Department of Justice is NOT an independent branch of government.
The Department of Justice is a subordinate department in the Executive Branch that
works for and answers to the office of the President of the United States of America.
If this report is true, the Attorney General Merrick B. Garland should be immediately forced to resign.
This is exactly the administrative state, "Deep State" doodoo that is the problem.
These Departments think they are independent agencies.

My comment has nothing whatsoever to do with the content of the article. Am I the only one frustrated and disgusted with the poor quality of writing, composition, and editing in so many articles these days? I have to read some headlines and paragraphs multiple times to try to make sense of them. Sloppy use of pronouns, incorrect contractions, and incomplete sentences seem to be acceptable by so many publications. It's becoming increasingly necessary to do multiple readings just to clearly understand basic information.

Title has incorrect English. "It's" is NEVER the possessive of "it." The title should read . . . "It’s Independence."

Reply #1 is so correct and timely. Opinion pieces now are often so full of undefined abbreviations or acronyms that we are supposed to know, faddish terms like “gaslighting”, and long sentences that lead nowhere. I was thinking that maybe it was early dementia or post-covid “mind fog”. Which does exist, unfortunately.

You are soooo right, #1. The basic quality of education across the board is falling and when you know that teachers and journalists graduate somewhere at the bottom of every class, you get the level of fourth grade writing that we read here every day. Add to that mix the growing number of writers hired by the diverse media who learned English as a second language and those of us who have been avid readers and writers for a long time are disgusted by what serves as an article. Regarding the article and the hierarchy of this government, the more infighting we see the faster it will all fall apart. Joe's polls are finally down in teens territory where they belong. MAGA & FJB

As you can see, # 1, you are not alone. My pet peeves: - use of the plural form following the word "none". "None" is SINGULAR, damn it! - whatever happened to the SUBJUNCTIVE, the conditional tense? It's been tossed to the wayside. Ex: "If [so & so] WAS president ..." It drives me nuts! Sometimes I think of having a novelty bumper sticker made up: "Whatever happened to... the SUBJUNCTIVE?" That would leave 'em scratching their heads, would it not? :-)

Fascism is a nebulous term which people throw around as a pejorative, even for minor things. When asked what they mean by fascism, they're at a loss. Like the word 'racist,' 'fascism' or 'fascist' is typically used by liberals and their ilk to smear their opponents and to cut off debates. As for those who seriously write about fascism, each seems to have their own definition. Perhaps George Orwell said it best in 1946: "The word Fascism has now no meaning except in so far as it signifies 'something not desirable.'"

Tucker Carlson sent the Left into a predictable frenzy of self-righteous rage this week by making a true, but politically incorrect, observation. The invasion that is unfolding at the southern border, Carlson said, is purposeful. Joe Biden and his Democratic allies have embraced open borders because they want to change America’s racial demographics. [snip] “Folks like me who are Caucasian, of European descent, for the first time in 2017 we’ll be in an absolute minority in the United States of America, absolute minority,” he said. “That’s not a bad thing, that’s a source of our strength.” Biden is not alone in his belief that white displacement is an inexorable destiny worth celebrating.

If you’ve been thinking of buying a house, you’ve probably noticed that house prices are soaring everywhere, not just in the usual preferred zip codes. You might have thought this is simply because of market deformations thanks to COVID and the lockdowns. In fact, the soaring prices reflect something much more sinister: Blackrock, an investment company is buying up housing stock, turning America into a nation of renters – that is, people with no stake in their communities or their futures. However, what’s really sinister is that it’s not just housing stock. BlackRock, along with The Vanguard Group, owns a disproportionate number of American corporations, more even than you realize.

There were voluminous reports, from eyewitnesses and experts, of widespread election fraud in the so-called battle states and beyond. Specific allegations were made, and evidence of election rules violations and statistical anomalies were collected. Yet the courts refused to listen to virtually all witnesses and experts, rejected most of the evidence, and refused to subpoena more evidence requested by the plaintiffs. Many state government officials and some top representatives of companies supplying voting machines and software categorically denied any election fraud.

The company announced it plans to release at least 20 new electric vehicles globally by 2023." Americans from our earliest days as a nation have rejected authority, especially when it seems arbitrary and comes from government that seems out of touch with ordinary citizens. Such a domain of authority is extremely delicate when it involves the powers of police to protect public order and safety. Collective large group consciousness and unconsciousness embraces and grants permission for such use of force by the police.
