The nation's chain of supplies is a mess because ships cannot unload their goods at ports in California. They cannot unload because the trucks aren't there. The trucks aren't there because the EPA banned most of them last October. (snip)the EPA last October made an agreement. Its spokesman said, "As trucks are one of the largest sources of air pollution in California, EPA will continue to ensure these heavy-duty vehicles have the needed pollution-control equipment and operate in compliance with the rules. These companies have agreed to bring their trucks into compliance and operate more cleanly in all communities they serve." This was a ban on most trucks serving California's ports.

I think it makes no difference whether Gay Daddy Pete is working or not. We are having supply issues because of Leftist policies and gross incompetence. His presence at work would not improve things. The Gay Daddy Pete story is just a way to divert attention from what is rotten at the core: Leftists policies and practices.

From the article: "Besides several recent television hits, Buttigieg has been lying low, Politico reported, citing his office. Buttigieg’s team told the outlet that the secretary has been on paternity leave for nearly two months to spend time with his husband and two newborn babies. The office had not previously announced his time off." 2 Months? No announcement? The MSM knew. They didn't want you to know.

Emergency C-section, 28 mo. old son at home, sent home with infant during the "48 hours and you're out" period of HMO regulation, husband (trial attorney with small firm) not able to take any time off. And somehow, I managed. Thrived even! One of the best moments of the day was when my husband came home, seeing the joy on his face and his complete attentiveness to our new son and our older two year old. It was not a completely bad thing that we cared in shifts on weekdays and we were all together on week-ends. Being a family is not predicated on all members being together at all moments. Neither is "bonding."

I have never heard of taking paternity leave after adopting. It is infuriating that we, as taxpayers, are still paying this specimen a six-figure salary to goof-off at home with his boyfriend for months playing with babies. The NY Post story that the article links-to shows that these two freaks even posed for a picture in a hospital bed wearing ID bracelets as if they actually pushed these two brats out of their backsides. He is an imposter, a figurehead of a Federal Agency that was appointed for no other reason than to check-off a block on an intersectionality list, so that President Brandon could pander to a special interest voting block. He is just as much an imposter as a cabinet secretary as he is play-acting as a fake mother.

The photo of them with their newborns has always bothered me. I have seen hundreds of pictures such as this one. In all of them the parents are looking down adoringly at their newborn. These two have adoring eyes only for each other while the babies are faceless little bundles.

It’s like the “New Car Chip Problem”! Cars use really old chip technology! The chip manufacturers decided during the COVID lockdowns that old tech is not a place to be! Now the auto industry is hosed by not keeping up or keeping chip tech in-house! No easy answers on this one for years!

No, it is not the fault of P.B. It is the fault of the Ca. regulations. 1) Trucks older than 2010 cannot enter the ports. 2) Only Unionized drivers can enter the port. and working around the clock does not climb over that obstacle. The Federal Govt would have to supercede the Ca. mandate to change things.

The Pennsylvania School Boards Association voted unanimously on Thursday to withdraw from its parent organization, the National School Boards Association, after the national group demanded that the Biden administration use domestic terrorism laws to target parents who want to hold districts accountable for teaching racist curriculum and ignoring the science on masking for children. “The Pennsylvania School Boards Association was not consulted prior to the letter being sent by the National School Boards Association to President Biden. When Greta Thunberg galivanted around the world preaching her climate change socialism, CNN talking heads recommended her for a Nobel Peace Prize. But when parents get noisy at a school board meeting, that's violence. And when a 9-year-old girl speaks at a school board meeting, that is weaponizing children. CNN weaponized Jennifer Wolfe, New York "State Teacher of the Year," to pen, "When parents scream at school board meetings, how can I teach their children?"
