The White House on Tuesday warned Republican governors of Texas and Florida that President Joe Biden would override their efforts to fight coronavirus vaccine mandates in their states.
“We know that federal law overrides state law,” she said referring to state attempts to ban vaccine passports.
She accused Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott of playing politics by issuing executive orders that fight vaccine passports.
“Why would you be taking steps that prevent the saving of lives that make it more difficult to save lives across the country or in any state?” she asked.
Psaki argued that the governors were “putting politics ahead of public health.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have moved into finance, becoming “impact partners” at fintech asset management firm Ethic, which endeavours to invest only in ethical and environmentally-friendly companies.
The New York-based company Ethic reportedly has $1.3 billion under management and was co-founded in 2015 by Jay Lipman, who recently described him and his business partners Doug Scott and Johny Mair as being like “hippies, in a way”.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made the announcement during an interview with The New York Times on Tuesday, with Meghan saying of Prince Harry:

Law professor Wendy Murphy said Tuesday on MSNBC that the Texas legislature should be impeached for treason for passing a law banning abortions after six weeks into a pregnancy.
Murphy said, “I think that it is so clear that the six-week abortion ban is unconstitutional. What everybody should be talking about is whether a state can avoid complying with the Constitution by passing a law that forbids the courts to correct them when they do it.”
She continued, “So, in my opinion, the Texas legislature should be impeached for treason. What they did was not just offend women’s rights by enacting a law that they knew and discussed openly would be unconstitutional,

Dude, go away. The more you talk the more hesitant people become regarding getting vaccinated for the coronavirus. The more you do television hits, the more people just tune out the whole pandemic—and rightfully so. We have three vaccines. COVID has a near 99 percent survivability rate. Over half the nation has been vaccinated. Tens of millions more have already had and recovered from the infection. There will be no more lockdowns. Sports stadiums are packed. It’s over. He’s just yelling into the air. The only people who listen are the coronabros and gals who would rather remain in total fear.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki made the surreal argument on Tuesday that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Texas Governor Greg Abbott are “putting politics ahead of public health” by protecting citizens’ fundamental freedom of choice on Covid-19 vaccines.
In the course of her diatribe, however, Psaki admitted something that has been bubbling on the media backburners for some time: Biden’s vaccine mandate currently doesn’t even exist. Watch: [Video]
“His requirements are promulgated by a federal law,” Psaki claimed. “So, when the President announced his vaccine mandates for businesses, that, of course, we’re waiting on OSHA regulations as far as the next step.”

Southwest CEO Gary Kelly had a major announcement on Tuesday about the vaccine mandate the airline recently issued: His company won’t be enforcing it.
During an interview with ABC News on Tuesday, the CEO said that no employees would be fired over the company’s vaccine mandate. Earlier, the airline announced that all employees needed to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by November 24 or face termination.
“We are not going to fire any employees over this,” Kelly said. [Video]
The Southwest CEO told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos there was “no evidence” any type of demonstration had caused the major service disruptions over the weekend. Nearly 2,000 Southwest flights were cancelled,

I think the left is realizing it has a tiger by the tail. The people are getting uppity.
Parents are assailing school boards over critical race theory and transgender madness. So much so that the Biden Justice Department is sending out the FBI to investigate whether, as the National School Boards Association bombastically charges, some parents are guilty of “domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”
Boy, it’s lucky for those BLM/Antifa rioters in 2020 that they refrained from badmouthing teachers and school officials while torching the cities. Their “peaceful protests” might have been investigated.

Customs and Border officials captured two small packages of Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport recently. The two drugs would not have raised an eyebrow before the COVID pandemic. But since the Democrats and media politicized the completely safe, inexpensive and effective medications the Customs agents are on the lookout for these cheap drugs.
The agents captured packages of 100 Ivermectin pills, 32 Ivermectin pills and 40 hydroxychloroquine pills.
Meanwhile Mexican cartels continue to smuggle record amounts of fentanyl into the country this year.

A 16-year-old student in Wyoming was arrested and the entire school was placed on lockdown — all because she refused to wear a mask.
Grace Smith, 16, had already been suspended twice from Laramie High School in Wyoming for refusing to wear masks in class.
As the brave student attempted to go to class unmuzzled once again, she was met with police and given a $500 citation. When she was told to leave the school, she refused to comply. At that point, she was handcuffed and arrested.
As the situation unfolded, an announcement over the loudspeaker said that “we are in a lockdown, please stay in your rooms.”

Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said that he will not be requiring his employees to adhere to the county's COVID-19 vaccine mandate due to concerns that he could lose a significant number of his workforce.
The mandate, issued by executive order in August, requires all Los Angeles County employees to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 1 but allows religious and medical exemptions.
Villanueva, who oversees the largest sheriff’s department in the county with approximately 18,000 employees, said Thursday in a Facebook Live event that his workforce is willing to be terminated if it means that they do not have to get the vaccine.

We have a supply chain problem in this country, as illustrated by empty shelves and delayed products in every retail chain and small enterprise. Everything from electronic equipment, to appliances, to fresh dog food, is in limited or non-supply because of this.
While Governor Gavin Newsom preens, postures, and belches out brags on how the State is doing better than Texas and Florida, he is doing nothing to resolve the issue of ships at the Port of Los Angeles being unable to dock and unload billions of dollars in goods.
Tallahassee, FL’s WTVY reports:
The coronavirus pandemic has triggered a global supply chain problem. As of Sunday, an estimated 500,000 shipping containers

Allison Hill went to Disney World with her family. She said their 9:50 p.m. flight Friday from Orlando to Houston was delayed and eventually canceled early Saturday morning.
On Saturday, they rented a car in hopes of getting a flight out of Tampa to get home.
”Having to search everywhere for a rental car and hotel and then the hours and hours in the airport have been really rough,” she said. The Hills had a flight on Southwest.
In a tweet, Southwest said, “ATC issues and disruptive weather have resulted in a high volume of cancellations throughout the weekend while we work to recover our operation.”
