A Gallup poll released this week found that Americans, by in large, overestimate COVID-19 hospitalization or death rates. Survey results suggest “most Americans overstate the risk of hospitalization” for both unvaccinated and vaccinated individuals. Some 92 percent “overstate the risk that unvaccinated people will be hospitalized” while 62 percent overstated the risk for vaccinated individuals, Gallup said in a blog post. The poll found that 41 percent of registered Democrats believe there is a 50 percent chance that an unvaccinated individual will go the hospital for COVID-19, whereas 21 percent of Republicans and 26 percent of independents believe the same.

To quote President Trump - "it's a hoax." Yes there was a flu, there is every year, thousands die from it. However, 98% survive covid and 99% survive the Delta variant. So yeah, I'd say the number who died from it are way over rated.

#1, we need to stop calling it a hoax, because it's a real virus that's killing people, and making many more very sick. Need to simply point out how the media has mislead people by ignoring actual information, and helping people facts instead of their hyperbole. Also point out how democrats took advantage of the situation to create a crisis which they wanted to exploit for partisan gains, at YOUR expense.

Read only the disinformation and you wind up with false information......exactly as they intended. But, mistrust the Enemedia, and seek alternate sources, and compare against facts that you can verify, and you can be well informed, even in times when huge swaths of the "media" intentionally are lying.

The city of Chicago has 43 major hospitals. As of last week Chicago had 29 people in the hospital with Covid. "With Covid"...are they hospitalized because they have a bad case of Covid. or, did they test positive when they were admitted for other reasons? Not reported. Obviously, Covid, the illness, should be taken seriously, but, did so many die in the early days because they were stuck on ventilators? After the news in April or May, that doctors in France had good results with the Hydroxychloroqiune, Zinc, Z-Pack / Doxycycline why was there such hysteria? I know Trump mentioned it, but how could doctors in good conscience have gone along with the banning of the protocol by state governors of all people? Doctors know these drugs, they know they have little to no side effects. They were taking them themselves as prophylactics. Where was the harm in trying them out? How many people died that wouldn't as a result? Why did five governors out of fifty pack the nursing homes? Why did they double down against the criticisms? Something more is going on here. Was the pandemic just a serendipitous occurrence for the democrats to exploit? Then came George Floyd. Maybe they were waiting for something similar to Ferguson? That happened in August of 2014 just ahead of the midterm elections. Did they decide it was time to give it everything they had after Floyd? It's been non-stop ever since. We haven't seen my husbands family since Christmas Eve 2019. My SIL informed me yesterday that they will not come to our house for Thanksgiving and all are invited to there house for Christmas, except for my husband and me because were are not vaccinated. They are all fully vaccinated. (We are, at present healthy and I can't see how we endanger them) We do not want it because all three of these "vaccines" are tainted by abortion. I am not willing to protect myself at the expense of an innocent little girl who was bought and paid for with the sole purpose of vivisection and experimentation. This whole pandemic has been so blown up and distorted. Why is Fauci still the only authority? What happened to Dr. Birks? She did defend Trump on several occasions so that may be the reason she has been shunned.

#11, all well said, but you swerved a bit at "not willing to protect myself at the expense of...." I understand the moral dilemma component, but The Shot doesn't actually provide protection from the virus as you seem to assume in the above sentence. And, it has killed a minimum of 15,000 people, maimed hundreds of thousands. So, on top of the moral dilemma, you have the personal risk vs reward calculation to make. I can't and won't attempt to make it for anyone else, but, personally, I am more afraid of the dangers of the "vaccination" than I am of the dangers of the virus. Clearly, huge numbers are very willing to get The Shot. My wife and I are not. I haven't seen my sister in two years, and she's a full believer in the vaccination thing. I don't bother to even attempt to dissuade her, she has made her choice. I have no idea whether we'll be welcome in her home this Thanksgiving or not. We had gathered there as several generations of family for years, since the previous generation all died off. Part of the family is against The Shot, part is for. I hope it doesn't divide us.

Northwell Health, the largest health care provider in New York state, is denying some benefits to employees it’s firing because they refuse to comply with the state’s COVID-19 vaccination mandate for health care workers. Those terminated lose all employer contributions to their retirement plans for this year unless they’re older than 62. They are also denied payouts of any of their remaining paid time off (PTO), according to a FAQ sheet recently emailed to the workers and obtained by The Epoch Times.

A study released this month found that the rates of COVID-19 cases and deaths in rural areas have far surpassed those being observed in metropolitan communities, with rural mortality rates more than double that of urban ones. The study from the Rural Policy Research Institute's (RUPRI) Center for Rural Health Policy found that as the summer ended, the coronavirus infection and mortality rates of rural and urban communities began to diverge. RUPRI noted in its study that the initial surges of COVID-19 cases at the start of the pandemic were largely concentrated in urban areas. Subsequent surges saw increases in both urban and rural parts of the U.S.

Lawmakers in Arkansas advanced legislation on Sept. 29 that would allow workers to opt out of their employer’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement if they can prove that they have natural antibodies against the CCP virus or if they’re tested for the virus weekly. Arkansas’s House and Senate Public Health committees endorsed identical versions of the legislation, according to lawmakers. The measure also requires the state to pay unemployment benefits to workers who are terminated from their jobs over the vaccine mandate. “This is what we felt we could get through to give employees some protection,” state Sen. Psychological warfare. Public opinion warfare. Legal warfare. Known as the “three warfares” doctrine and relatively unknown in the West, these concepts serve as key strategies guiding the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in its quest to win a war against the free world without firing a single shot. Psychological warfare seeks to demoralize the enemy; public opinion warfare seeks to shape the hearts and minds of the masses; legal warfare seeks to use systems of law to deter enemy attacks. This explanation was set out in a recently released 650-page report that provides a comprehensive illustration of the Chinese communist regime’s global influence operations. The French-language report was published by the Institute for Strategic

On Monday, Pfizer announced that it's launching an accelerated Phase 2/3 trial for a COVID prophylactic pill designed to ward off COVID in those may have come in contact with the disease. Coincidentally (or not), Pfizer's drug shares at least one mechanism of action as Ivermectin - an anti-parasitic used in humans for decades, which functions as a protease inhibitor against Covid-19, which researchers speculate "could be the biophysical basis behind its antiviral efficiency." Lo and behold, Pfizer's new drug - which some have jokingly dubbed "Pfizermectin," is described by the pharmaceutical giant as a "potent protease inhibitor."
