Almost a year after President Joe Biden trounced Donald Trump in Virginia, the state's unexpectedly tight race for governor has alarmed Democrats and left Republicans hopeful they can win back crucial suburban voters who left the party during Trump's tumultuous presidency.

I was one of the Republican congressional candidates who were part of the historic GOP takeover of the House of Representatives in 1994 – a direct result of the passage of the largest tax increase in history in President Clinton’s first budget in 1993.

When did we become a nation of socialist AOCs wearing “Tax the Rich” dresses to $35,000-a-ticket celebrity galas, without mandatory masks, while being served by masked servants—a now tired script from the Obama birthday bash crowd to the grandees at the Emmys?

The White House press pool, for example, is little more than a Greek Chorus that recites Biden administration talking points. In exchange for this tawdry performance, they expect occasional access to the President. But Biden’s handlers have no more respect for the media than does the public.

Finally, after averting its eyes, the Left has found a reason to take an interest as Haitian migrants flood by the thousands across the Rio Grande into Texas. Naturally, what grabbed their attention is not the real issue, which is President Joe Biden triggering an irruption of illegal aliens by foolishly inviting them in and scrapping immigration policies that worked.

During a Sunday morning interview with far-left Fox News anchor Chris Wallace, Biden DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said the Biden administration opposes the border wall because it’s a “proud tradition” for the United States to let people in illegally through the southern border.
“Why did you allow them in the country in the first place? Why didn’t you build – forgive me – a wall? Or a fence, from stopping this flood of people from coming across the dam. It looks like a highway when they cross the Rio Grande,” Wallace asked.
