The White Backlash That Wasn’t

Over the past year, the left-leaning media has peddled the narrative that an emotional constellation of “white resentment,” “white fragility,” “white rage,” and “white fear” drives opposition to critical race theory in America’s public schools. Now NBC News claims it can prove it. In a long story featuring analysis of demographic data, NBC News reporter Tyler Kingkade and data editor Nigel Chiwaya claim that the parent uprisings against critical race theory, which have occurred in more than 200 school districts across the country, are a “backlash” against “rapid demographic change” and “the exposure of white students to students of color.” Or, to put it bluntly, it’s the ugly

When blacks protest racism, it black pride. When Whites protest racism, it's 'ugly' and white supremacy. It's funny that blacks will ALWAYS vote for the black candidate, yet 'The Won' had to have had white votes to win.

Back in the good old days before Barack Obama I never gave much thought to black movements or marches like everything else they had radicals but basically I ignored it. Since then with race in the forefront 24/7 it is tiring but I can now say with much pride I am all of those things I am accused of thank you Obama for opening my eyes. I know where I now stand with other races so just say it's now my defense mechanism. You hate me and I hate you back even though I don't know you and you don't know me we're equal. It's just the dumb whites that side with another race to gain favor with them when in the end the shark will eat them too. It takes a dumb simple mind like that of general Milley's to advance CRT as something other than pure racism caused to divide people. I know stupid when I see it and CRT is stupid. Thank you NBC News you are stupid too.

There are many white people who have feasted on the stories of how awful blacks are treated. They have extreme white guilt. They believe anyone who lives without white guilt is a raving lunatic White power White Supremacist. I don't rave I am not a lunatic, I am not an advocate of white power, and I am certainly not a white supremacist. By the same token I am not filed with White Guilt, and I am not blind to what is happening in the black ghetto's of America's democrat cities. I do not try to excuse these excesses and murder and crimes in these places because of any slavery of 200 years ago. Blacks have had 140 years to rid themselves of the hate they have for white people. There will never be a day without race problems until the blacks lose their racism, that they accuse whites of.

'A four-alarm fire': Tight Virginia governor's

Almost a year after President Joe Biden trounced Donald Trump in Virginia, the state's unexpectedly tight race for governor has alarmed Democrats and left Republicans hopeful they can win back crucial suburban voters who left the party during Trump's tumultuous presidency. With early voting under way, the non-partisan Cook Report has labeled the Nov. 2 contest between Democrat Terry McAuliffe, a former Virginia governor, and Republican businessman Glenn Youngkin, a toss-up. A poll last week by the University of Mary Washington gave Youngkin an advantage with likely voters.

"History never repeats itself but it rhymes," Mark Twain is generally credited with saying, so it is understandable how today’s ongoing debate over President’s Biden’s first budget may have a familiar feel to it. It seems we’ve been here before. For me, that familiarity is a bit more personal. I was one of the Republican congressional candidates who were part of the historic GOP takeover of the House of Representatives in 1994 – a direct result of the passage of the largest tax increase in history in President Clinton’s first budget in 1993.

Think for a minute. When did we become a nation of socialist AOCs wearing “Tax the Rich” dresses to $35,000-a-ticket celebrity galas, without mandatory masks, while being served by masked servants—a now tired script from the Obama birthday bash crowd to the grandees at the Emmys? When did we discover that we must listen to oppressed billionaire Oprah from her $90 million Montecito estate commiserating with a billionaire Lebron or royal Meghan Markle about the racist white establishment? Is there anyone in the recent Washington intelligence and investigatory hierarchy who has not lied or feigned loss of memory under oath—

Policymakers and public health officials need to be held accountable for their miserable pandemic failures. So should the media, which have no interest in objective news, and are following an agenda that is both repulsive and poisonous. Among the media’s favorite stories of the past 18 months are the deaths of the unvaccinated and those who expressed skepticism about the lethality of the Wuhan coronavirus. A recent example is the death of a 40-year-old California woman, who, according to the British Daily Mail, “regularly posted anti-vax, anti-mask content, proclaiming herself a ‘free thinker’ who ‘questions everything.’ ” The mother of four – who also considered herself “unmuzzled”

President Biden went before the United Nations this week to lecture the world about “dignity.” “Will we affirm and uphold the human dignity and human rights under which nations in common cause more than seven decades ago, formed this institution?” he wondered, just weeks after Afghan civilians tumbled through the skies from a U.S. military transport plane in the wake of Mr. Biden’s historically disastrous retreat from Afghanistan. “People have taken to the streets in every region to demand that their governments address peoples’ basic needs, give everyone a fair shot to succeed, and protect their God-given rights,” he lectured, weeks after handing Afghanistan back to Taliban terrorists who beat women

Call it a “wokelash.” Ordinary Americans are fed up with corporations' woke politics on issues unrelated to their businesses. A recent Rasmussen poll finds that two-thirds of Americans think companies should stay out of politics. Now, new legislation sponsored by Sen. Marco Rubio will help people hold companies accountable for their political virtue signaling. The Mind Your Own Business Act, introduced in the Senate this week, makes it easier for shareholders to sue companies engaging in gratuitous politics for breaching their fiduciary duty to maintain shareholder value. In an effort to appease liberal lawmakers who threaten them with punitive regulations, corporations have increasingly been wading into divisive political issues

Operation Gaslight is collapsing. A majority of Americans blame President Biden for the border crisis, a new poll shows, as the administration is caught lying about the makeshift refugee camp under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas. About two-thirds of the 15,000 Haitians living in unsanitary conditions under the bridge have been moved out since Saturday, as local authorities try to regain control. Just over 5,000 migrants remained yesterday afternoon. But the tough talk from the administration that they would be deported back to Haiti under a special Trump-era pandemic health order has turned out to be hot air.

It’s no secret that most Americans mistrust the media. A recent Gallup survey found that only 21 percent of the public expressed “a great deal” of confidence in newspapers. Television news fared even worse. This distrust of the media isn’t merely due to dishonest “reporting,” it is also tied to collusion between journalists and the politicians they are meant to keep honest. The White House press pool, for example, is little more than a Greek Chorus that recites Biden administration talking points. In exchange for this tawdry performance, they expect occasional access to the President. But Biden’s handlers have no more respect for the media than does the public.

Finally, after averting its eyes, the Left has found a reason to take an interest as Haitian migrants flood by the thousands across the Rio Grande into Texas. Naturally, what grabbed their attention is not the real issue, which is President Joe Biden triggering an irruption of illegal aliens by foolishly inviting them in and scrapping immigration policies that worked. The thing that brought a new focus, and piqued outrage, was video footage of mounted officers trying to control the invasion. What detonated the Left’s anger and started another embarrassingly vapid round of hand-wringing is captured by a false report from Business Insider that wrote

President Biden’s remarks Tuesday to the U.N. General Assembly fell flat. Why? Because once again, Biden demonstrated weakness. He is pushing our allies away and cozying up to our enemies. Biden said during his remarks, "We’re opening a new era of relentless diplomacy, of using the power of our development aid to invest in new ways of lifting people up around the world." And while we should value diplomacy, a strong America is what will enable that diplomacy, and not the promise of American tax dollars. A strong, America first policy that ended years of dumping billions of U.S. dollars in an attempt to buy peace and cooperation saw successful

Capitalism offers an optimal paradigm to organize a virtuous society’s economic affairs. But virtue is a precondition for capitalism, not a product of it, and no modern phenomenon better highlights that distinction than the rise of addictive social-media platforms. This past week, The Wall Street Journal reported on Facebook’s knowledge of the harmful impact of its Instagram platform on teen girls; on Facebook’s role in promoting anger on its platform; on Facebook’s weak response to employee-reported drug-cartel and human-trafficking activity on its platform; on how the Facebook platform thwarted Mark Zuckerberg’s desire to promote COVID-19 vaccinations; and on Facebook’s “XCheck” program, which exempts high-profile accounts and VIP

Almost 100 percent of Americans need to be vaccinated before the country can safely return to normal, President Joe Biden claimed Monday. Biden said that “97%, 98%” is the goal as a country during his much-publicized appointment to receive a COVID-19 booster shot Monday. He offered no explanation for the number. Medical experts, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, have predicted that herd immunity would only require 70% to 85% of Americans to be vaccinated.
