More than 28,000 Department of Education employees—including 10,000 classroom teachers—remain unvaccinated just days before a city-mandated deadline. As of Tuesday, the DOE said 87 percent of all 78,000 city teachers have had at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine. The remaining 13 percent comprise roughly 10,100 holdouts—or roughly six educators for each of the city’s 1,600 schools.(Snip)The DOE declined to say how many teachers have applied for or received exemptions Tuesday — but teachers’ union sources told The Post that only a small fraction of accommodation requests are being granted. I think it's just astounding that we've lost sight of the fact that Covid is just another strain of the flu, and even more astounding that vaccinated people who STILL get Covid consider their vaccination a success! One neighbor of mine just shared that she & her husband ad gotten the jab, but they still caught Covid. "Well:, I said, "I guess the vaccination didn't work." Oh but it DID she insisted-she didn't die from Covid was her reasoning!

How stupid is it to fire someone for observing their Constitutional rights? How stupid is it to fire Nurses, Firefighters and Police Offices because they refuse to get the jab? This is without a doubt the most stupid Administration in the history of the United States of America.

The flu shot DOES NOT prevent the flu. But it can make your experience dealing with the flu easier if you should end up catching the flu. It is an inoculation, not a vaccine. The covid shot DOES NOT prevent covid. BUt it can make your experience dealing with covid easier if you should end up catching covid. It is an inoculation, not a vaccine. Why is this so hard to understand? Like with any medication one might consume you might have an adverse reaction leading to complications and unfortunately even death. ( If you read the label warnings on any bottle of OTC medication you will probably never pop that pill again.) We do not shun people who choose to forgo the flu shot but some of us have become hysterical over some choosing not to take the covid shot. If you have taken the shot but are still fearful then YOU wear a mask if you want to, carry the sanitizer, stand 6 feet away (that has recently been debunked as a safety fantasy), stay home, don't go to an indoor event, and all the other covid porn you wish to follow. But leave the rest of us alone. The covid shot is not a silver bullet. Take it, don't take it. Your choice.

Enough with the "it's not a vaccine" nonsense! The COVID shots elicit an immune response that is very effective against getting sick with COVID. Vaccines can include live (but not very dangerous) live viruses or bacteria, virus particles inactivated with formalin, proteins extracted from viruses or bacteria, synthetic peptides that emulate the surface of a pathogen, live or dead virus particles engineered to express certain proteins expressed by pathogens, DNA sequences encapsulated in particles that enter cells, or mRNA encapsulated in particles. The vaccine is formulated with an adjuvant that enhances an immune response. The COVID-19 virus consists of positive sense mRNA encapsulated in particles that express several proteins, including the surface spike protean that enables the virus to get inside cells of our noses etc. Pathogenic RNA virus particles have huge numbers of mutations. so having them grow in our bodies is unpleasant. Any normal person would much prefer to have a tightly controlled mRNA sequence of a vaccine enter our bodies than be infected with a randomized collection of pathogenic viruses that make us sick

The Shot is NOT a vaccine by any of the normal medical definitions that have been used for over a century. And whatever interest the vaccine pushers have, national or right here, it won't change that fact one bit. And fancy words wrapped around this genetic instructions injection do not prove it safe. There is a lot of evidence that it is very dangerous. The former chief scientist of Pfizer has warned against the shot. That's a powerful reason to avoid it.

Pro-choice advocates say the United States should lead the world in making abortion more accessible and argue against restrictions in some states that limit the procedure on demand. Still, restrictions such as Mississippi’s ban after 15 weeks of pregnancy are more liberal than those of several Western and industrialized countries. Germany, Switzerland, Russia, the Czech Republic and Greece have the same constraint.(Snip)Italy restricts abortion to the first 90 days of pregnancy. Croatia limits it to 10 weeks. The pregnancy prevention plants are the handiwork of the San Diego biotechnology company Epicyte, where researchers have discovered a rare class of human antibodies that attack sperm. By isolating the genes that regulate the manufacture of these antibodies, and by putting them in corn plants, the company has created tiny horticultural factories that make contraceptives. 'We have a hothouse filled with corn plants that make anti-sperm antibodies,' said Epicyte president Mitch Hein.
