A video clip of a female U.S. Army soldier who appeared to threaten to shoot American citizens if martial law is ever declared and they refuse to comply with orders has gone viral on social media and triggered widespread backlash. The clip went viral thanks to Jeremy Darling, a black conservative who posted a snippet of the larger clip to his own TikTok and added his own commentary, warning that the soldier’s words “should be cause for concern.”The soldier’s words were as follows: “Understand that if active-duty military actually get deployed within the United States, that weapon is not just pointed at other people, other countries. It’s pointed at you.

The Pentagon has launched a drone strike in the Islamic State's stronghold in eastern Afghanistan, killing a man believed to be involved in planning Thursday's Kabul airport bombing. The drone hit an ISIS-K member in Nangahar province, U.S. Central Command said. U.S. official told Reuters the strike was approved by President Joe Biden. The retaliation came less than 48 hours after a devastating suicide bombing claimed by the group killed as many as 170 Afghans and 13 American service members at the Kabul airport. The strike killed one individual, and spokesman Navy Capt. William Urban said they knew of no civilian casualties.

Hillary Clinton went all out for "Hot Girl Summer" in the Hamptons, where the failed politician was recently spotted roaming the shores with her disgraced husband and a trendy female bodyguard. The former secretary of state donned a flattering yet sensible lewk that exuded the essence of Megan Thee Stallion's take on feminine confidence: "[It's] just basically about … having a [good] time, hyping up your friends, doing you, not giving a damn about what nobody got to say about it."Fashion experts told the Washington Free Beacon that Hillary's outfit, known in the couture industry as a "secular beach burqa,"

Leon Panetta said on Thursday that the Unites States military will have to return to Afghanistan to tackle terror threats posed by Taliban and ISIS-K after a suicide attack killed 13 U.S. troops and at least 90 Afghans.
Paneta, a Democrat who served as Defense Secretary in the Obama administration, said in an interview with Erin Burnett for her CNN show OutFront that the withdrawal of American troops left the United States in a 'very dangerous and difficult situation.'(Snip)'The bottom line is, our work is not done. We're going to have to go after ISIS. I'm glad the president said we're going to hunt them down

President Biden on Friday said he and Dr. Anthony Fauci discussed requiring COVID-19 booster shots every five months rather than every eight as previously anticipated. The shorter timeframe would increase the number of vaccine doses that the US will need to set aside for booster shots—as poorer nations clamor for more US donations. “The question raised is should it be shorter than eight months? Should it be as little as five months? That’s being discussed. I spoke with Dr. Fauci this morning about that,” Biden said in the Oval Office during a visit from Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

The deep grief on President Biden’s face as his eyes swelled with tears was painful to watch. But his personal suffering cannot exonerate him from the responsibility for what happened in Kabul. Nor can his obscenely shameful effort to shift the blame to former President Donald Trump and even his own military commanders be taken seriously. Biden says the buck stops with him, but he doesn’t really mean it.When the enemy strikes with deadly results, it’s somebody else’s fault. That’s not leadership and it certainly isn’t presidential.

One of the things that disgusted conservatives following news of the bloody terrorist attack in Kabul that killed twelve Marines and one Navy corpsman was the fact that Nancy Pelosi, during a public appearance in San Francisco, not only didn’t mention, she was also in an exceptionally jovial, joking mood. My bet is that this wasn’t mere callousness on her part. (snip) I believe that the reason Pelosi is behaving in this way is to keep her base from realizing that something bad happened. It’s a form of gaslighting that involves her shaping their reality through lies, not to drive them crazy, but to keep them ignorant.

After months of supposed hiding, the Capitol Hill cop who shot unarmed pro-Trump protestor Ashli Babbitt at the Capitol, Lt. Michael Byrd has come out of the woodwork to talk about his shooting, in a softball interview with NBC's Lester Holt. Which is weird stuff, given that for months his identity had been concealed, by investigators, Congress, and other supposed watchdogs, on the grounds that revealing it to angry Trump supporters was too dangerous, and whose investigative conclusions excused him from accountability.
Now he's come out -- telling Lester Holt of his great heroics. He doesn't even need to, having been exonerated repeatedly.
The most likely reason is this lawsuit,

Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller of the United States Marine Corps revealed Friday afternoon that he has been relieved of duty for posting a video criticizing military leaders for failing to take responsibility for the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. In the video, Scheller, a 17-year Marine Corps officer, said that he knew he was risking his career by speaking out, but that he wanted to explain why so many service members were frustrated, in the wake of the terror attack on U.S. forces in Kabul on Thursday.“The reason people are so upset on social media right now is not because the Marine on the battlefield let someone down. …

Robert F. Kennedy's assassin, Sirhan Sirhan, was granted parole by a California board Friday after spending more than 50 years in prison after two of his sons said they support his release, a decision that still needs to be approved by the governor.
Sirhan gunned down Kennedy, then a Democratic U.S. Senator from New York and brother of President John F. Kennedy, in 1968 at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles moments after Kennedy delivered a victory speech in the pivotal California primary. Sirhan was convicted of first-degree murder.
Sirhan, a Christian Palestinian from Jordan, has said he was angry at Kennedy for his support of Israel.

President Biden is being attacked from all sides after the deaths of at least 13 American service members Thursday in an ISIS-K terrorist at the Kabul airport, with calls for his impeachment and resignation from some. The outrage over the American deaths Thursday was compounded by news that the U.S. gave the Taliban the names of Americans and Afghan allies it wanted to evacuate.
The political crisis for Biden follows a foreign policy crisis in Afghanistan after the Taliban swept into power as American troops withdrew from the country on Biden's orders. And even Democrats are criticizing the president's actions. Prior to yesterday's bombings
