President Joe Biden made his first major address before the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday—announcing new financial commitments as he tried to reestablish the U.S.'s place in the global community. Biden said he'd ask Congress to double the amount of money for public climate financing—to about $11 billion a year—while also devoting $10 billion to curb hunger. 'We are not seeking a new Cold War,' Biden also assured the delegates, after the U.N.'s secretary-general expressed concerns about the U.S.'s deteriorating relationship with China. Hey Joey, it doesn't matter what YOU say. The ChiComs are already in a cold war with us and are readying for a real one. You know, the kind of war where bullets fly, bombs drop, and people die.

Eleven billion on something they can't prove because it's not man made. The climate may indeed be changing, but man has nothing to do with it or control over it.

Used to we would buy influence and control in foreign countries. Now we just have a feebleminded old man throwing money out the window of a speeding car as it races towards the cliff. Every day is getting worse in America.

The President should not be able to double support for anything without Congressional approval. Congress passes bills throwing billions at things, creating huge slush funds. Congress should do its job and direct how much is to be paid for something, no more, no less.

Joe wants to avoid a cold war, but by showing so much weakness he invites a hot war. The technology of war today makes a surprise attack by a powerful nation much more deadly than what the Japanese did at Pearl Harbor.

If his speech was intelligible, that was one of his doubles. It doesn't really look senile enough to be Actual Idiot Joe. Either way, he gave away billions stolen from Actual American Taxpayers.

The Chinese have already determined the United States under Biden won't defend itself or it allies. They just have to look at what happened in Afghanistan. Joe's speech just confirms it. He just gave the Chinese the green light to do whatever they want. We are only spending 10 billion on Climate Change? That's a lie. It is probably in the hundreds of billions. Eleven billion for feeding the hungry worldwide? It won't save a single life. Will this spending build anything? Will it create any jobs? Nope. All it will do is fuel our inflation.

OP, I don't understand your comment.
The Republicans don't control either house of Congress or the presidency at this point. What exactly do you think they have the power to do to stop creepy uncle Joe from wasting money like this? They can weep and moan, which the MSM will totally ignore, but they have no legal authority to stop creepy uncle Joe from spending whatever he wants.
Elections have consequences, especially stolen ones. Sadly, the Republicans bent over and asked for another one back in November when they allowed this illegal coup to steal the presidential election for Lyin' Joe biden. They are useless now, and will be unless they can win back Congress in 2024 (which should happen, but nothing is certain with the Demon-Rat mastery of election theft last November)!!!

Biden is all about redistributing US taxpayer’s money domestically and to the world. Every time one of those big government money programs is implemented, especially internationally, a percentage of the money is corruptly siphoned off and Biden is an expert at that.
