Self-medicating for COVID with Cheap Drugs

With the recent spate of “breakthrough cases,” we’re seeing the fully vaccinated getting infected with SARS-2, the novel coronavirus the world has been battling the last two years. (snip) One self-medication is Vitamin C. (snip) I was interested to learn that Zinc in conjunction with certain therapeutics is prescribed for COVID. That’s because I chew Zinc and Vitamin C pills to coat my throat when I feel a sore throat coming on, and it helps. If I ever notice any COVID symptoms, I’ll immediately start chewing C and Zinc tablets; that is, I’ll self-medicate.

Sounds good. I was taking C, D-3, Zinc, L-Lysine, drinking plenty of water, etc. but the bug still found me and had me in hospital for a week. I have the resultant immunity now but plan to take the shot when time comes.

To think Americas front line Drs. Have been promoting HCQ and ivermectin for early use since almost the beginning and have been censored and belittled to further the myth that vaccine is the true cure. A virus is a virus is a virus and politics has no place in medicine. How many countless individuals could have still been here with early prophylactic treatment? I too was using supplements and the bug found me. How much less my struggle would have been if my government had not shackled medical professionals putting local politicians in charge of my health and making impossible in my state the access to these inexpensive and generationally proven safe prophylactics? The vaccine is not a cure but a possible immune trigger that can focus on only one variant at a time which is imperative in the immunocompromised. Your local Dr. should be the point of contact to determine symptomology and treatment, not the White House and alphabet media. Bah humbug

Sadly the State Health Departments are going after any kind of treatment for CV-19 even if a physician prescribes it. In Ohio now it is difficult if not impossible to get a prescription filled for Ivermectin - the kind made for human consumption. Yet if households had an emergency pack of IVM for use when any of the family contract the CV - how easy to keep people out of hospitals. OTC foods & medicines help stay well or help their immune systems fight the virus - those are being restricted too. NAC - is hard to find. Zinc (w/copper), Quertecin, L-Lysine, Vitamin C & D are all helpful for the immune system.

Another possible prophylactic is CO-Q10 and an Elderberry Gummy twice a day. The CO -Q10 opens the cell walls and lets the zinc in the elderberry in. I was taking CO-Q10 plus a small amount of zinc in 2019, before I got (probably) CoVid. That most likely kept my symptoms milder than they otherwise would have been. Masks don’t work. I see the neurological damage Moderna did to my wife, every day, and my Mother in Law says I’m not seeing the half of it. No way am I getting the jab, even if I’m not already immune (and I believe I am).

I take C, D3, Quercetin and Zinc plus a daily vitamin every day. I also drink water constantly during the day. I believe I already had the Kung Flu in May and was able to stay out of the hospital, although I coughed like a TB patient for the three weeks I was sick and then three weeks after that. I have mild asthma anyway, so I also had my asthma meds and inhalers to help. I'm NOT getting the jab PERIOD!!

One reason for the push for COVID vaccination
may be to eliminate a possible

There are a number of reasons to explain the intense push from the Biden administration and the government medical bureaucracy to get people to take the COVID vaccine. From a wide search of the information available, I find it hard to believe that the actual health of people is one of the reasons. For example, why demand people with natural immunity get vaccinated? And why insist on vaccinating children when their risk of serious effects from the virus is minuscule? It make no scientific sense especially when the vaccine itself can possibly cause serious health issues for the young.

Immunity, according to the CDC website, is “Protection from an infectious disease. If you are immune to a disease, you can be exposed to it without being infected.” (snip) breakthrough infections, on the rise, challenge the definition of immunity as “being exposed without being infected.” This would explain the CDC’s recent decision to change the definition of vaccine from immunity to only protection. These immunology basics are taught in high school biology classes and if understandable to teenagers, they should be clear to the medical establishment and leaders of our national health institutions.

Who knew that rapper Nicki Minaj would emerge as a champion for free speech and an outspoken critic of censorship? Even stranger -- Minaj found herself retweeting Tucker Carlson while Carlson championed her on his nightly show. Strange times indeed -- but alas “adversity makes strange bedfellows.” Minaj just learned rule number one of the modern illiberal party -- there is zero room for liberty of thought. Her critical error was having the audacity to question the vaccine narrative and encouraging people to make their own decisions.

Mr. Biden and other liberals are very upset with the unvaccinated. They've laid the blame, with the claim that this is "a pandemic of the unvaccinated." I call BS. This is a "pandemic of the incompetent." First, the CDC and NIH watched the virus ravage China and did nothing. Next, they told President Trump that it was xenophobic to stop travel from China. Next, they told us the virus was not transmitting human to human.Next, they changed, without reasoning, the reporting requirements for potential deaths associated with the virus to guarantee a higher death total in the U.S. Next, they misrepresented the data for the projected death toll in America

As late as 3:43 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, the long-lived mantra of the pro-abortion movement, “My Body, My Choice,” was still showing signs of life. This is the image the government - and its media maidens - broadcasts: a red hot map of Covid community spread gone wild. One look at it, and it rightly evokes panic. Five alarm fire. Run - or at least hide - for your lives. The sky is falling, again. Mommy, make it stop! (snip) it is a misleading image. Instead, if the goal is to reflect reality and priorities - meaning risk - below is the better image. This image shows that a little statistic called “deaths” is down, way down. It shows deaths at near the low point of the 18-month pandemic.

Democrats are crowing about California's Gov. Gavin Newsom surviving his recall election, and by a 64% to 35% margin. (snip) A blue state governor with a huge Democrat-registered majority somehow won his recall election? Not a lot of news in that. Nor is the breakdown -- the rural counties voted against him, the big blue coastal cities voted for him. Democrats outnumber Republicans in voter registrations 40-25 and Democrats who've been elected have made the state a shambles for decades. In other words, it's not just from Newsom that the state is a mess and there's no sense of a huge sudden crisis, which probably worked to Newsom's advantage.

One of the biggest stories in the media concerns hospitals filled to overflowing with COVID patients. However, as an article in The Atlantic (of all places!) informs us, these numbers are misleading. Almost half of the people in the hospital with COVID are either mildly symptomatic or asymptomatic. In other words, to anyone running around screaming, “We’re all gonna die!” the answer is “No, we’re not.” The biggest story is that of a 73-year-old Alabama man who purportedly died from a treatable heart attack after dozens of hospitals across a three-state region turned him away
