Democrats are crowing about California's Gov. Gavin Newsom surviving his recall election, and by a 64% to 35% margin. (snip) A blue state governor with a huge Democrat-registered majority somehow won his recall election? Not a lot of news in that. Nor is the breakdown -- the rural counties voted against him, the big blue coastal cities voted for him.
Democrats outnumber Republicans in voter registrations 40-25 and Democrats who've been elected have made the state a shambles for decades. In other words, it's not just from Newsom that the state is a mess and there's no sense of a huge sudden crisis, which probably worked to Newsom's advantage.

The question I ask myself is'' If I was badly in need of help, would I want or need a senile, incompetent pedophile to rush cross country to my aid?'' Hmm.

The writer mentions she would have preferred Kevin Faulconer as a "Republican who can win". There is only one problem with that...Kevin Faulconer was in the race and he finished behind Larry Elder. So, clearly Kevin Faulconer was NOT a "Republican who can win."

I am confused about the election recall results. I have been reading for some time that we may not know the outcome for at least a week after the actual election date due to mail-in ballots that might not be received until after the election. What am I missing?

The worst news about the whole thing is despite all the election audits, the mounting evidence and exposure of mass election fraud across the country by the Democrats, they have not waivered one bit on cheating.

California may be a beautiful state, but yesterday's result should be the final notice to those who cherish liberty and freedom ... and being able to keep more of what you earn and be safe ... this is your final warning. Leave California.
And if you're liberal, stay there.

Monica Showalter is normally very insightful. However, she doesn't mention the bear on the beehive. The recall was not won by Newsome attacking Trump, it was won by mail-in ballots and ballot harvesting.

Gov. Grusome won because of mail in ballots. Ballots were mailed to everyone and anyone. Who knows if they lived in CA or were alive or how many times they voted. Pelosi announced ahead of time, weeks ago, that she knew old Gavin would win. Yeah, she knew who was counting the votes or manufacturing them. And it was announced before voting day that half the ballots were back in. And you think that those counting the ballots were fair and honest?
God's judgment is on CA. He has given the State over to The Destroyer because of corruption from top to bottom. A cautionary tale for the rest of the country for this is what political corruption and mail in ballots will do.

I’m not going to be run out of this state. I’ve lived here my entire adult life. While I feared Newsom would prevail I am depressed at how thoroughly he held on. Most of the people I know voted to keep Newsom. They don’t like the crime, homelessness, high gas price, high house prices and all the rest but cannot, will not vote to hamper the Party.
The recall last time worked because of Schwarzenegger’s celebrity and because he was a great campaigner. He actually was a fairly good governor.
I have no idea how the Republicans can make significant inroads in this one party state. Maybe they can’t since too many of the rational people have fled the state.

#4 - It always takes California about a month to count all the provisional ballots and reconcile the discontinuities before the official final tally will be announced. However, with all the harvesting of ballots mailed to every resident and subsequent tossing of those that read "Yes" through the punched hole on the envelope, it's in the bag. Hard to imagine that this state once elected Ronald Reagan as its governor and then again as our President.

And how much of that 64% was vote fraud from the freely created mail in ballots? 10%? 20%? 30%? Even more?
Anyone could print off 5 or 500 of the online ballots and mail them in. You can be absolutely certain that many did.

This should be worrisome for people outside of CA:
FTA:' Newsom is likely to see his victory as an affirmation of his Covid-19 policies, as exit polls said that the coronavirus was the number one issue in the state. But it also may be a roadmap for him and other Democrats going into next year’s midterm elections, in that they will embrace Covid-19 restrictions as an electoral winner'
Restrictions are a WINNER!

Let's talk about the Californians who voted with their feet and moved to another state as a result of the policies of Governor Brylcreem and the out-of-control California legislature.
