The Unsung Death of ‘My Body, My Choice’

Original Article

As late as 3:43 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, the long-lived mantra of the pro-abortion movement, “My Body, My Choice,” was still showing signs of life. It was at that time, that the White House published the remarks made by Vice-President Kamala Harris at a “Reproductive Rights” roundtable. (snip) “And, needless to say,” Harris continued much too quotably, “the right of women to make decisions about their own bodies is not negotiable. (snip) So far is Harris out of the White House power loop that she may not have known the mantra had less than two hours to live.

So, so sick of this whole giant waste of brain cells. It is FUTILE to explain simple truths to the self deluded. You wanna know when this started? This propensity of the US people to deny reality standing before them? To the point of becoming so mush brained that they can see RECORDED VIDEO of ballot stuffing and yet believe it didn't happen? This right here. 1973. RvW. This is when the American people became so week minded and self deluded that they could no longer discern simple reality from plain lies. What, did you think the murder of innocents would be the end of it? Was the beginning.

Upon reading special counsel John Durham’s 27-page indictment of attorney Michael Sussman, I found myself asking, “Is there anything Perkins Coie lawyers would not do to keep their Democratic clients in power?” (snip) The story for today, the one alluded to in the headline, involves a third Perkins Coie attorney, Bob Bauer, and a fourth, Judith Corley. In 2008, Bauer worked with the Barack Obama campaign and the DNC not so much to “create a narrative” regarding Obama as to sustain the narrative Obama had already created. Beginning with his keynote speech at the 2004 Democratic Convention, Obama repeatedly told the story of his parents’ “improbable love.”

Saturday, Sept. 18 was the date for the “J6 Rally,” organized by a political advocacy group called Look Ahead America. (snip) Yet the media and the Democrats painted a far more sinister picture. (snip) Anyone with half a brain could see that this was another FBI entrapment scheme, to justify more arrests and more prisoners in solitary confinement awaiting trial for walking benignly through the U.S. Capitol. Social media was full of warnings to stay away from the trap. Even President Trump warned that it was “a setup.” And as usual, Trump was right. The Daily Mail reported, “Protesters outnumbered by police…as just a handful of demonstrators turn up.”

On Saturday, there was a rally in D.C. to bring attention to the plight of those people arrested on January 6 and still held in solitary confinement in D.C. jails. President Trump warned people in advance that the rally was a no-win situation and he was right. It was poorly attended and it seems that many of those who did appear—perhaps intending to act as provocateurs—were law enforcement agents trying to “blend in with the crowd.” Most importantly, though, this failed rally revealed that non-leftists in America are losing their First Amendment right to protest.

There seems to be a yawning chasm between what is believed by media people and what their viewers/readers/listeners care about when it comes to Covid vaccines. (snip) On September 10, the local Detroit TV station WXYZ used its Facebook page to ask families for stories about unvaccinated loved ones lost to COVID “for a story we’re working on.” Pretty clearly, the expectation was that they could present tragic stories of those foolish people who ignored the wisdom of Joe Biden (and the medical, media, and corporate establishments) and suffered the tragic consequences. But that’s not what they got

Talk to me for just a few minutes about my life as a lawyer and I will tell you that, without question, the worst thing about being a litigator is activist judges. It turns out that Clarence Thomas shares my concern, for he fears the power that the Supreme Court holds. In a speech at the University of Notre Dame, the brilliant jurist told his audience that “The court was thought to be the least dangerous branch and we may have become the most dangerous,” adding, “And I think that’s problematic.” Indeed. Today, it is not four airplanes, but a host of civic institutions that have been hijacked for evil. Institutions, like airplanes, have been built to be powerful for the accomplishment of much good. Perhaps if all the disgruntled voters who left California in recent years were still there to favor the recall of Gavin Newsom, his political career would have ended last Tuesday. The demographics of the leave-takers is unclear, but the new arrivals include many from foreign countries, along with wealthy corporate types who could afford the move. As the hysteria about unvaccinated people demonstrates, the COVID vaccine isn’t really a vaccine because it doesn’t make those who have had the shots immune to COVID—although there is some evidence that, if they do catch COVID, their symptoms are less severe. The latest push from the Biden administration is for people to get a third, or even a fourth, “vaccine” shot as a booster. However, the FDA’s advisory panel, ignoring administration pressure, voted by a 16-2 margin to reject licensing Pfizer’s booster vaccine for healthy people between 16 and 65. Only for those at serious risk of COVID did the advisory panel recommend the booster.

There are a number of reasons to explain the intense push from the Biden administration and the government medical bureaucracy to get people to take the COVID vaccine. From a wide search of the information available, I find it hard to believe that the actual health of people is one of the reasons. For example, why demand people with natural immunity get vaccinated? And why insist on vaccinating children when their risk of serious effects from the virus is minuscule? It make no scientific sense especially when the vaccine itself can possibly cause serious health issues for the young.

Immunity, according to the CDC website, is “Protection from an infectious disease. If you are immune to a disease, you can be exposed to it without being infected.” (snip) breakthrough infections, on the rise, challenge the definition of immunity as “being exposed without being infected.” This would explain the CDC’s recent decision to change the definition of vaccine from immunity to only protection. These immunology basics are taught in high school biology classes and if understandable to teenagers, they should be clear to the medical establishment and leaders of our national health institutions.

Scientists have created the ultimate GM crop: contraceptive corn. Waiving fields of maize may one day save the world from overpopulation. The pregnancy prevention plants are the handiwork of the San Diego biotechnology company Epicyte, where researchers have discovered a rare class of human antibodies that attack sperm. By isolating the genes that regulate the manufacture of these antibodies, and by putting them in corn plants, the company has created tiny horticultural factories that make contraceptives. 'We have a hothouse filled with corn plants that make anti-sperm antibodies,' said Epicyte president Mitch Hein.
