So who DID pay for AOC to go to the Met
Gala? Vogue organizers did NOT
give her a free ticket despite her
claim she was 'invited as an elected official'

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was not given a free ticket to attend this year's Met Gala by Conde Nast and neither was Mayor Bill de Blasio, despite the former's claim that she was 'invited as an elected official' to the ultra-elitist, $35,000-a-head event. AOC tried to justify the hypocrisy of her attendance by suggesting she'd been invited to attend for free as someone who 'oversees' New York City's 'cultural institutions'. But DailyMail.com can reveal she was not given a free ticket, as she suggested.(Snip)AOC also left the party with her boyfriend, Riley Roberts, and James. She boasted to the magazine: 'The Met Gala is seen as elite

Comments:

Tickets for AOC and her feckless boyfriend, who is paid using US tax dollars, were probably purchased by one of our many patriotic agencies because it's important to always keep the fun face of Democratic Socialism in the public eye.

And if the Met had a tip jar for donations, I hope they kept their eyes on it whenever the tip-stealing barmaid walked by. Old habits are hard to break.

That's what I said earlier this morning on another post. Who paid for that gown and who paid for that seat at her table? Only the wealthiest of people pay for those dinner seats. The big donors lay out the money for each other's favorite charity like the Met and the ballets at Lincoln Center. The best tables go for $100,000 if memory serves me correctly. Here's the deal on "Tax the rich!" The Dems raise the taxes on the rich. They know that won't be enough to fund their crap. So if they remain in power, they will raise the taxes on the middle class. When the economy craters and the Republicans return and cut taxes, the Dems will cry, "Tax cuts for the rich!" That's how it works, but I wonder if AOC knows about this.

If she was invited “as an elected official”, doesn’t she have to report this as a “gift”? Who it’s from? More pesky rules to ignore.

They say that federal elected officials cannot except gifts over $50.00. But notice that all the elected officials are Democrats. That means there will be no legitimate inquiry as to how those Democrat elected officials were able to gain entry to gala costing $35,000 a head, that was produced and run by Democrats, for Democrats.

It would appear that this little miss has caught on to how bilk the taxpayers for privileged access and intends to get her share. Federal, state and local leaders on Tuesday unveiled a statue of the late Newark Mayor Kenneth Gibson in front of city hall about two years after another sculpture of him began to crumble shortly after it was erected. Gibson was Newark’s first Black mayor, who served from 1970 to 1986 and governed over the city shortly after the 1967 riots, which some call a rebellion. As you look at the stories, remember this context (emphasized as a reminder):(snip)Factually, President Trump’s strategic approach toward foreign threats and foreign intervention (through the use of geopolitical economic pressure) was a major paradigm shift that removed the Defense Department from a primary role, and placed them back into a more appropriate ‘contingency’ role when it came to foreign policy and national security. It was obvious from the outset of the Trump administration that the Pentagon did not like that position.
