President Biden asserted that a new Texas law banning abortions after the detection of a fetal heartbeat “blatantly violates” Roe v. Wade in a written statement on Wednesday.
“The Texas law will significantly impair women’s access to the health care they need, particularly for communities of color and individuals with low incomes,” said Biden.
The president added that “my administration is deeply committed to the constitutional right established in Roe v. Wade nearly five decades ago and will protect and defend that right.”
The law went into effect on Wednesday after the Supreme Court declined to act on an emergency petition to block it. The law’s unusual enforcement mechanism

Covid crisis will not eclipse Afghanistan treason and incompetence so now we must attack a red state abortion law. Distractions, distractions, distractions so we can hide the dementia ridden idiot who resides (sometimes) at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Joe needs ice cream!

If the Heartbeat Bill passes Constitutional muster it will hold for Texas and draw the roadmap for stopping Abortion in Texas. Others will follow our template.

Roe v. Wade was roughly the judicial equivalent of an Executive Order. Biden has no problem with nullification of any EOs he dislikes.

1. Joe Biden says we need to kill more black babies.
2. Joe Biden admits that the "right to abortion" is not in the Constitution.
Keep talking Joe.

A close read of the original Roe V Wade limited legal abortion to the 1st trimester, IIRC.
So, no, this latest Texas law does NOT violate Row V Wade.

Biden, the old fashioned White Supremacist, wants to make sure that those nasty black folk and brown folk don’t reproduce too much. Just enough to pay extraordinary taxes and work the menial jobs that keep cheap food on the table in their McMansions.

Killing a fetus is considered 'women's health care' now? What does he think killing a viable being with a heartbeat does to its health?

Joe, how does the Texas Statute violate the Supreme Court's fetal viability test?
Roe v. Wade held that during the first trimester governments could not prohibit abortions. In Planned Parenthood v. Casey (1992) the Court abandoned its trimester test in lieu of its current test, which is based on fetal viability.

The SCOTUS simply didn't act. There is another case coming up in the Fall that's considered more important, but notice that the SCOTUS didn't act regarding Texas claims against another state.
It's possible the Conservative majority, with the support of most of the Liberals, is simply backing out of areas where the courts have little place.
