No, Texas's New Law Does Not Ban Abortions

After the Supreme Court declined the ACLU’s request to block SB8, the new Texas law, which bans abortion after a baby’s heartbeat is detected, went into effect in the state immediately. Almost predictably, the left went into a total meltdown, suggesting that this was an all-out ban on abortions, which it very much isn’t. Liberals and Progressives alike complained that this law was somehow an affront to women everywhere (you know, after they have spent the last four years telling us to call them “birthing persons”), claiming that the majority of abortions occur after a heartbeat is detected. Well, that’s just not true. In fact,

I notice that no one ever mentions that we are one of the very few so called civilized nations of the world to allow abortion beyond the fourth month of pregnancy. No one ever mentions the european laws on the subject. I guess because the rad feminists don't want to give you a true picture of how bloodthirsty they are.

Every baby saved from the greedy hands of murdering leftists is a plus, but dang! our side makes the Texas law seem like less of a victory every day. Let the left live in their meltdowns, and stop trying to calm them by assuring them they can still kill babies. Good grief!

#2, You have hit upon the truth. The only thing the left loves as much as power is money and those baby parts are a gold mine. If a movie was made of the actual practices of Planned Parenthood and their customers who pay big bucks for harvested baby parts, it could not be shown because of the horrific and graphic nature of the reality of the brutalization of these innocent babies. This is what these women are advocating for because this the reality of the business of abortion. Notice how democrats only have to push that pro-choice button and all the deranged feminists come out of the woodwork like a swarm of wasps prepared to attack. Their outrage is so disingenuous. Because of an act they participated in they believe they now have the right to kill the life they created. It is too much to expect them to be responsible and use proper birth control. How about they grow up and act like adults? Those innocent babies did not ask to be created to suffer at the hands of ghoulish abortionists who dismember their little bodies in order to sell them to the highest bidder. If you ever question whether evil really does exist, look no further than your local abortion clinic.

Choosing to have unprotected sex is a choice. I'm all Pro-Choice. Choose to act responsibly! If you can't do that, and just have to have an O ....buy a vibrator. If your boyfriend doesn't like it, let him watch and take care of this business some other way. It is immoral trending towards amoral to end the life of helpless innocents. And there is no free press or free speech left anywhere in this World. Big 'whatever' has the microphone and most people are lemmings!

I’ve just about had it with this budding matriarchy we’re developing in this country. Women are so influencable, vengeful, hateful and sanctimonious, it just boggles my mind. Every original thought they have is so just plain stupid they have to hide in the academic matriarchy to survive the scorn we lesser mortals pour down upon them, if we’re ever allowed to learn about their idiocies. I’ve watched women buy every insane and damaging ideology that comes pouring out of our colleges, spitting, hissing and scratching to defend them, no matter how twisted and perverted those ideas are. In short, I’m totally fed up with the women of this age and think they need to be popped in the face, sterilized and sent home to rethink the world and life in general. And stop being so malleable.

It's all about planned parenthood's taxpayer's money and selling baby body parts to medical clinics... this is about a small baby being dissected and USED by unsavory goons...and now WE hear reports 50 million American babies have been killed since the 70's and although our population is 12% black... 20 million babies were black... let's do the math... if WE can assume that 300 million was the population back then... that's rounding it out...approximately 32 million were black...so that means minus 20 million black babies killed...the numbers are staggering...looks like the planned parenthood crowd accomplished their founder's plan... to curtail the black population's increase...was a success... congratulations Margaret Sanger...

I was just remembering #2. When veritas caught those Planned Parenthood leaders discussing the sale of baby body parts, there was not nearly the outrage there should have been. Its just so horrific that even media anchors on FNC were eager to move on. I cry when I think of that.

General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, landed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany Saturday. I’ve been following the trip this morning by keeping an eye on FNC’s Jen Griffin’s Twitter account. She’s on the trip and tweets that she will have an exclusive interview with Milley. So far her tweets are not exactly being met with warm and fuzzy reactions from her Twitter followers. Milley was last seen and heard from on Wednesday when he and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin held a joint press conference at the Pentagon. Watching that press conference, frankly, made me angry. At this time last year, the Wuhan coronavirus was claiming around 1,000 American lives per day. It seemed to me that, absent a sudden and sharp decline in that number, Joe Biden would be our next president. It must have seemed that way to Biden and his top advisers, as well. During presidential debates that occurred a little less than a year ago, Biden ripped Trump for his handling of the pandemic. The death count was the centerpiece of this attack. So what’s the daily death count now, more than seven months into the Biden administration and with a majority of Americans vaccinated?

Lyft and Uber announced Friday they will pay the legal fees for any of their drivers who are sued under Texas’ new law that prohibits abortion after a heartbeat can be detected. The law allows private citizens to enforce the measure. Though patients may not be sued, any individual can sue the people “knowingly” assisting the procedure, including doctors, those paying for the abortion and clinic workers. Plaintiffs in litigation cases resulting from the law’s implementation can earn up to $10,000 in damages. “Drivers are never responsible for monitoring where their riders go or why. The United States is staying in “constant contact” with Americans left behind during President Biden’s frantic evacuation from Afghanistan who still wish to leave, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Friday, offering no timeline for freeing them from Taliban rule. On Tuesday, the US completed pulling all troops from the 20-year war, and ended their initial evacuation efforts for all Americans and Afghan allies in the country. US troops helped evacuate more than 116,000 people from Kabul, as the Taliban took over the country, including 6,000 Americans. However, at least 100 Americans remain in the country, and a clear plan or timeline for helping them leave has not been publicly released.

There are very few issues out there that seem to send progressives right over the edge harder than abortion. The primary talking point, in the wake of the Biden administration’s dismal failure in Afghanistan, is that the Texas pro-life law is exactly the same type of Sharia law the Taliban imposes on women in Afghanistan. This is mind-bogglingly ignorant rhetoric that we cannot let pass. First of all, how extremely Islamophobic of the left to attack the religious beliefs of those of the Islamic faith. The same group that accused the Trump administration of being xenophobic and racist for implementing a ban of travelers from majority-Muslim countries

Joe Biden came into office inheriting the war in Afghanistan. But unlike previous presidents, he inherited a war that was relatively quiescent by Afghanistan standards, involved few American troops on the ground, and was in a phaseout due to an agreement his predecessor had struck with the Afghan government and the Taliban. Under that deal, the U.S. would remove its troops by May 1, 2021, if the Taliban and Afghan government met certain conditions. Biden has played both sides of the Trump deal, both arguing that it tied his hands and that he would have sought a similar deal himself. This, plus Biden’s campaign to overturn as many Trump policies

Joe Biden’s presidency is collapsing. That’s been my supposition for the last several weeks of chaos most starkly illustrated by what happened in Afghanistan, where Americans still remain abandoned and 13 US service members were murdered. It’s not just foreign policy, though. Inflation woes have only worsened while COVID deaths are now higher today than they were at this time last year when Donald Trump was president. We were promised a return of competency, normalcy, and an end to the pandemic. What we got was the current mix of ineptitude, predictable as it may have been given the Washington establishment’s prior track record.

But the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has recommended an expansion of the group of children with health conditions that makes them clinically vulnerable, expanding it to 200,000. These will include children with chronic major heart, lung, kidney, liver, and neurological conditions. They should receive two doses of the Pfizer vaccine, as they are more at risk of the virus.
