Joe Biden's Next Move Is One of Pure Delusion

As far as I can tell, Joe Biden finally arrived back at the White House yesterday evening after hiding out for the better part of the last two weeks. While I can only find a text pool report claiming he did and not an actual confirmation (i.e. photos of him getting off Marine One), it does appear his activities today are scheduled to be in the Oval Office and East Room. What those activities are, though, will likely leave you gobsmacked. Is he going to do an emergency briefing and presser on the current disaster unfolding in Afghanistan?Nah, he’s going to talk about COVID instead.

Josef Stolen will announce today - - that because of the "delta variant" no one on American soil will be allowed to speak - - until Thanksgiving. And that means everyone, everywhere. No talking - - not a peep. Any speech will result in a Roger Stone-style SWAT team - - surrounding your house and beating down your door. This talking ban will make it impossible to verbally criticize Joe Stolen - - - about Afghanistan - - or anything else. You have until 4:30pm EDT - - to speak your final words.

Biden doesn't care about the trapped Americans in Afghanistan. He's only concerned about where is his next pudding cup. His #1 enemy is not the Taliban but the Americans who voted for 45.

British paratroopers are risking their lives in Afghanistan to save UK citizens from the deadly Taliban after President Joe Biden’s disastrous withdraw from the region. While the British government is telling its citizens that “help is on the way,” Biden is telling American citizens that they are on their own. The UK is sending paratroopers to Kabul to rescue the 4,000 stranded Brits and Afghan allies in Kabul. The paratroopers were told to “prepare for face-to-face combat.”

President Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan has put a spotlight back on the controversial waiver Congress used to confirm the nomination of now-Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.Austin has come under fire for his admission this week that the United States military does not have the capability to help the thousands of Americans stranded outside the Kabul, Afghanistan, airport.Austin said, “We don’t have the capability to go out and collect up large numbers of people.”Austin’s involvement in the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan follows as Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN), the chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), urged Republicans in January to vote against Austin’s waiver

New images captured the devastation left behind by the Cache Fire in Northern California while the fast spreading Caldor Fire wildfire grew 24 times in size in just two days. Aerial shots of Clearlake, just north of San Francisco, show the full extent of the damage the Cache Fire has caused. The wildfire has burned through about 80 acres and is 20 percent contained as of Thursday, Cal Fire officials said. About 50 homes in Clearlake have been burned to the ground and 1,600 people were forced to be evacuated at the height of the fire, and about 800 people were put on evacuation standby, NBCBayArea.com reported.

The Biden administration on Thursday struggled to speed up evacuations of as many as 80,000 Americans and Afghan allies — with the suddenly pressing effort being marred by obstacles ranging from red tape and visa paperwork problems to massive crowds and often violent Taliban checkpoints that barred entry.Even American citizens with valid passports fear making the perilous journey to the airport for fear of the armed Taliban fighters who surround the Kabul airport.David Marshall Fox, an American who moved to Afghanistan in 2013, told The Post on Thursday that he’s abandoned hope of getting onto an evacuation flight, saying the danger of his young son getting shot

WASHINGTON—The State Department was forced to scrap a widely excoriated plan to bill US citizens $2,000 or more for their evacuation flights from Kabul. The hefty price tag drew social media outrage Thursday after it gained public notice.“In these unique circumstances, we have no intention of seeking any reimbursement from those fleeing Afghanistan,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said in a statement provided to The Post. The cost was publicly posted to a State Department website on Saturday but went largely unnoticed before it was highlighted by Politico’s military-focused newsletter Thursday. An unnamed State Department spokesman initially stood by the charge, telling Politico that “U.S. law requires that evacuation assistance

Like every national leader, the president of the United States has a prime obligation to safeguard the security and well-being of his citizens. And like his predecessor Donald Trump, President Joe Biden concluded that the presence of US troops and contractors in Afghanistan was having the opposite effect — that the American military deployment, as Biden put it on Monday, was “not in our national security interest.” Thousands of Americans had lost their lives in the course of the 20-year war since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, when the Bush administration began targeting Afghanistan for harboring al-Qaeda terrorists. And Biden, inheriting

The MSM has been surprisingly unsparing in its criticism of President Biden's mishandling of the Afghanistan withdrawal. Earlier this week, for example, we noted NBC's Richard Engel giving a scathing evaluation of the fiasco, approvingly quoting a military source who said the situation is "100-times worse than Saigon."This morning, it was CNN's turn. New Day aired a report by correspondent Clarissa Ward from the Kabul airport. There, in addition to being roughly confronted by Taliban fighters, she was beseeched for advice by Afghans who had served as translators to US forces, desperate to get into the airport and out of the country.

Whether you agree comes down to a gut check on how you felt about the interview. I didn’t see it as out of the ordinary for Biden. A few days ago, on Aug. 14, I wrote about CNN's sudden about-face on Joe Biden's performance in Afghanistan. It was a shocking, stunning change; it wasn't half-hearted stuff. The Trump-hating news site ran a devastating -- and insightful -- analysis pinning the blame for the Afghanistan fiasco squarely on Joe Biden. Prior to that, the network had carried water for him, skewed the news, and engaged in sycophancy, to the point of ending up a target of James O'Keefe. Now it's The Atlantic's turn. Just this morning they ran three bam, bam, bam commentaries that also pinned the blame for the fiasco squarely where it belonged,
