State Department officials in the Kabul embassy told the Biden administration last month that the Afghan capital would fall and to speed up evacuations, a new report claims.A dozen diplomats sent a confidential memo in a dissent channel to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on July 13 that the Taliban was rapidly gaining ground and the city was vulnerable to collapse, the Wall Street Journal reported. On July 8, President Biden said it was 'highly unlikely' the Taliban would take control of Afghanistan and denied there would be chaos in Kabul.
Well, in fairness, the Blinken idiot was fully engaged in making sure embassies were LGBTQABCXYZ123 friendly, and had the deviant flag displayed properly. I doubt he had time to work on anything as trite as a country falling, and trapping 10s of thousands of Americans.

Why aren’t the Republicans demanding mass resignations and drafting Articles of Impeachment? Oh, yes, I forgot, that would require spines.

I'm sure regular service personnel were reporting to their superiors about the situation in Afghanistan from day one, but the reports never made to the higher ups or the higher ups didn't believe them. This whole situation did not just happen within a month.

I pray that the Taliban do not harm any of our citizens, but if they do, even some of the Dems will vote for impeachment.

Stop for a moment and imagine you are one of those people trapped behind Taliban lines and your government abandons you while British and French soldiers are trying their best to rescue their citizens. To me this is inconceivable. America has refused to go to the aid of its people who are in grave danger. What has happened to the democrat party and specifically Joe Biden and his cabal? American lives matter!
Republicans, you have to stand up, speak up and demand better for our people. If you do not do everything in your power and move heaven and earth to force this abysmal administration to take action to save these lives, you are part of the problem. Now American lives are at stake in real time and if you don’t do something these people are facing certain death and it will not be pretty.

#3, numerous republicans ARE demanding his resignation. You just won’t hear about anywhere but in conservative media.
I have personal experience on how well DC listens to diplomats overseas - they rarely do. As a far less egregious example compared to what is going on now I offer this…
I worked for the State Department as a communications officer behind the Iron Curtain in the early 80’s in Ceausescu’s Romania. The first winter I was there was the coldest on record with the most snow. Nicolae shut off the gas grid so that he could sell his oil to western countries for hard currency and the result was that we had no heat or hot water in our apartment and no gas in the stove. It was warmer inside the refrigerator than it was in the apartment. The embassy sent cable after cable after cable back to DC begging them to send us space heaters, something, anything to help.. They ignored us that entire first winter. We finally got some help about halfway through the second winter.

The State Department especially Blinken, won't get what they deserve. They are complicit in the debacle. All is going as planned.

Since the big purge of leaders in the military during the Obama reign the woke Pentagon reeks of perfume on the Princes of war. Meat Head Milley is too busy looking for the Klan while Blinken looks to see that the LGBTQ flags are unfurled at American embassies. Americans mean nothing to the woke left just illegals and Muslims and this is your example. Cadaver Biden has his instructions so he's finished with the Afghanistan fiasco on to Covid-19 vaxxes, mask mandates with other miseries on the American people. The left is in control.

I'll say it again. This bug out was done with specific objectives. First, someone was picked to benefit from acquiring the US military equipment, artillery, roclkets, mortars, guns, tanks, and humvees. It will all be sold on the black market or shipped to Iran. Second, the left rejoices because this debacle fits their narrative perfectly which is to defang that bad old white supremist United States to just another banana republic without borders.

Great job Joe, what are you going to do for your next act? I hear that the people on Taiwan could use some help.

My post from the previous article stands. Dems clearly thought that the advancement of the Taliban would help them in their quest for absolute power.

This is a hard lesson for Americans to see... but... I suspect it was necessary to show US just how corrupt and inept Washington DC's political elites are...if it isn't about money for their pockets...it doesn't matter to them...

You're CINC in the Situation Room. For weeks you've gotten reports ranging from situation fine to situation dire. Your staff of military experts make recommendations. You make decisions...or you could go full-LBJ and direct things yourself. What are you going to do? Whose intel do you accept? What's true in conflicting reports - any of it? All of it? Which part of it? What is it you don't know?
I'm not defending anyone in this debacle. I'm saying that it's more complicated than we know, and further complicated, perhaps, by American hubris.
We spent 20 years training the Afghan security forces...you're reporting back on their fitness, and that includes willingness to fight. What are you going to say to your superiors? They got nothing?
We spent 20 years of building a central government. What's your report? These guys are stuffing suitcases full of US cash to bug out?
We forget, or ignore, that this is THEIR country; their culture. And that means THEY own the consequences of having blown a twenty year opportunity to reform themselves. Traditional culture has won out. Our great experiment is over and done. Good luck, Afghans. The good news is that the American death toll over two decades is as low as it was. We can absorb the $6.7 TRILLION spent.

You got to remember that the leftist and socialist Democrat Obama crew and other operatives who are actually running the White House and the Federal Executive Agencies today could care less about the Afghans, or the US military.
Their mantra is to transform the USA into a socialist utopia by any means possible, including changing the voter demographics of the country with unlimited infusions of socialist minded illegal aliens who will become future socialist Democrat voters, and if those operatives thought they could get away with it they would disband parts of the military that they deem to be extreme including the entire US Marine Corps.

The dems' front man, Biden/Harris, has surrendered our innocent citizens, those who also cherish liberty in Afghanistan and our military and financial treasure to Liberty's enemy. It is hard to comprehend that one Administration could betray their trust so completely! The damage done by the dem/socialist pols and the GOP wimps is beyond sickening! Pres. Trump delivered peace, security and prosperity but Biden/Harris(D!!!) has deceived liberty and delivered treachery.

"Intelligence Reports" included maps that showed the expansion of Taliban control of Afghanistan, They were taking over cities very quickly, controlling over half the country in practically a month (June to July). Joe needs to be removed for not being able to function, but those who are in charge and responsible for this fiasco need to be removed based on performance and to send a message that failure has consequences.

It looks like the Taliban are sitting on a nest egg of about 10,000 potential American hostages, which will enable them to leverage just about anything they want from this ''Administration" -- like freeing up the about $35 billion in Afghan financial assets currently being embargoed up by the U.S.
So, stand by for the next phase of this Xiden-inflicted debacle: Taliban rounding up and imprisoning U.S. and other Western citizens by the hundreds . . .
God help our Country.
