During Wednesday’s briefing by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, CBS national security reporter Jennifer Griffin asked the two about the decision to abandon Bagram Air Base in the weeks leading up to Afghanistan’s collapse. That decision has proven to be crucial, as it left Afghanistan with no U.S. military support and now leaves the civilians stranded there with one option: to try to get to the Kabul international airport through Taliban checkpoints. The U.S. government issued a statement saying that it cannot guarantee

Reading this article is disturbing because even a logistical novice can see there could potentially be a huge problem securing the safety of our citizens by losing Bagram AFB. All you have to ask yourself is who is benefitting from this withdrawal. Certainly, the Taliban, but China is going to be the one country that will reap the rewards of all of the mineral deposits In Afghanistan that are so coveted by our enemies. I cannot allow myself to believe that Biden is nothing more a pawn of the CCP, but he certainly does not have the best interests of this country in mind. Think about the stolen election and every Trump policy that Biden overturned. They all benefited our enemies, particularly China. My goodness, the ramifications of these actions made by a United States President in order to weaken this country and strengthen our enemy is unthinkable. Yet, everything regarding this administration points to a concerted effort on the part of Biden and his cabal to do anything that would possibly bring harm to this country. The thought of such a betrayal cuts to the core. However, the only explanation left is abject incompetence which I find questionable considering the wealth of advisors around Biden. If we know Joe is mentally unfit for the job especially regarding decisions like these, it is only reasonable to believe that those around him know even more about his mental capabilities or lack thereof. Therefore, either they are just as incompetent or they are there specifically to destroy the country. Isn’t that the purpose of those who have invested in a coup d’etat? Have our enemies in the guise of fellow Americans infiltrated the government to that extent? Something is seriously wrong at the highest levels in our country. This situation cannot be explained by simple ignorance. No one is that short sighted. This is strategic and comes from the top and that is the most disturbing conclusion we can reasonably make.

China is getting the rare minerals and China will get the opium windfall as well. That is inevitable regardless of the manner of withdrawal. So the pertinent question seems to be what other purpose is achieved by sabotaging the withdrawal process? When you pull troops out prior to evacuating civilians in the presence of a known threat that's more than a blunder. When you schedule your withdrawal as Biden initially did for the 20th anniversary of 911, knowing how the 10th was celebrated, that's more than a coincidence. I believe there is more than the Chinese takeover of the US in play here. I believe it is the radical Muslim influence in our government. After 911 instead of sending people home who came from the country and ideology that attacked us we let even more in at an accelerated rate and placed representatives in our government. The China threat is very real but it's not the only threat in play. And our government is legislating dependence on those minerals in the name of a known fraud, climate change in it's current popular context as man made (not the real cycles of ice to warm back to ice ect..) We have been betrayed to the Caliphate and we have been betrayed to China. Is there any wonder why "America First" caused such a ruckus? We need to figure out how to get China and radical Islam to go at each other, why are we not leveraging the plight of the uyghurs in China? Because that would be an America First move.

From Don Suber: "Yonder are the Hessians. They were bought for seven pounds and tenpence a man. Are you worth more? Prove it. Tonight the American flag floats from yonder hill or Molly Stark sleeps a widow!" John Stark at the Battle of Bennington, 1777. 31 years later, the general was too frail to attend a reunion of his troops. He wrote them a letter instead, and advised them to ""Live Free or Die." It became his state's motto. We were founded by brave men who risked their lives for freedom. We are governed by cowards who risk the lives of other for power.

The military leadership wasn't derelict in their duties. Before abandoning Bagram - - Milley and Miller made absolutely certain that anyone who wanted a sex-change operation got it. They also made certain that everyone at Bagram had completed their White Rage therapy sessions. So - - we can be absolutely certain - - that in any future military conflict - - all of our personnel will be comfortable with their sexuality - - and their racial identity.

Probably another General with ten rows of ribbons and all sorts of badges on his uniform who never won a war. Clearly when you look at today’s “woke” generals in their fancy uniforms, they are certainly reminiscent of the old Soviet Generals and Marshals after the Second World War who won their war. The only difference is that the American Generals of today did not win their wars. The war in Afghanistan was lost right after the USA invaded Afghanistan when it was decided to use limited war strategies and tactics that were not designed to win the war there, but to transform Afghanistan into another liberal and peaceful Vermont type place. But as history is now showing when its decided to fight a war against a brutal, dedicated, primitive, and vicious, religiously based Islamic enemy who has been constantly fighting for a thousand years and only understands force, to win such a war you must be tougher on the battlefield than the enemy, using total war strategies and tactics that are designed to annihilate the enemy for as long as they resist. If both the conservative and liberal politicians now running the USA are not ready to do that, they should never again send the US Armed Forces on such a fool’s errand as history is now showing that they did in Afghanistan.

#27 has it right with the mention of “following the money”. The money really has not started rolling yet, in the last couple of days the Biden crew announced that Biden had authorized the reallocation of $500 million in US Government money to bring Afghans to the USA. The question is who is going to get that money? No doubt a percentage will be skimmed off through absolute corruption. The rest will probably end up in the Taliban leaders pockets, as bribe proceeds will probably be the basis of coming “undercover” deals between Biden and the Taliban to get as many Afghans as possible out of Afghans out of Afghanistan and into the USA. You just have to hope that Biden through incompetent vetting or no vetting does not allow a lot of intending Islamist Terrorists into the USA. Remember it has also been liberal Democrat mantra that the way to solve all problems is to throw as much taxpayer’s money as possible at the problem, acquiescing to the fact that a percentage of the money will be corruptly skimmed off, sometimes to their family members who are given no work positions within the money stream, their friends, and to their political supporters. While the Taliban will probably let Americans and other foreign nationals out of Afghanistan, that will not be so with Afghans without huge bribes being paid, some say up to $100,000 a head. That’s the way it works in much of the Islamic world.

The White House’s readout of a call between Joe Biden and Emmanuel Macron on the crisis in Afghanistan leaves out an impassioned plea from the French president that the US and its allies have a “moral responsibility” to evacuate Afghan allies. The French government’s readout of the conversation was released on Friday, a day after the call took place, and indicates that Macron emphasised ensuring the safe evacuation of Afghan citizens who assisted American and European troops over the past 20 years at great risk to themselves and their families. According to the readout, Macron described the mission to evacuate allies as a “moral responsibility”

The first post argues that Biden’s chat with George Stephanopoulos was filled with enough contradictions and awkward stammering that, paired with his low visibility lately, we might reasonably conclude that his health has become an issue. Whether you agree comes down to a gut check on how you felt about the interview. I didn’t see it as out of the ordinary for Biden. His answers were emphatically not good but he didn’t seem checked out to me. If anything, he was combative

Incredibly cynical and depressing. And quite possibly correct. “The public opinion is pretty damn clear that Americans wanted out of the ongoing war and don’t want to get back in. It’s true today and it’s going to be true in six months,” said one Biden ally. “It isn’t about not caring or being empathetic about what’s going on over there, but worrying about what’s happening in America.”… White House officials believe Americans’ horror over graphic images of the chaos in Kabul and pleas from Afghans who fear they will be killed

The Taliban has seized US weapons left in Afghanistan worth billions — possibly including 600,000 assault rifles, some 2,000 armored vehicles, and 40 aircraft, including Black Hawks, according to reports. The US gave the Afghan military an estimated $28 billion in weaponry between 2002 and 2017 — including seven brand new helicopters delivered to Kabul just a month ago.

During the presidential campaign, the Biden administration introduced a new word into the lexicon: a “lid.” His campaign has called a lid countless times without explanation, meaning it was cutting off all media appearances for that day. Joe Biden went on vacation to Camp David just before Afghanistan fell to the Taliban and gave no public remarks on the matter until more than 24 hours after the fall of Kabul. That was a speech Biden delivered from the White House Monday, after which he took no questions from the media. He went silent again, then delivered another speech on Wednesday, this time on COVID. He took no media questions

As we approach the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks it is interesting to look back and see how American culture has changed in that two-decade time span. Back then mainstream culture (sorta) rallied around God and country against our enemy, the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Today the culture sees those same people that believe in God and country as bad or worse than the Taliban.

Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett refused Friday to block the construction of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago as demanded by an environmental group. The groundbreaking for former President Barack Obama‘s namesake library and presidential archives center began earlier this week, but Protect Our Parks, an environmental advocacy group, asked the high court to stop the construction. The group lost multiple requests in lower courts to halt the construction of the Obama center because it is located in a public park, Jackson Park on Chicago‘s South Side.(Snip)The activists argued that 800 trees would be destroyed around the park and affect birds.

In the wake of the Afghanistan debacle, demands have arisen in Congress for President Biden to resign or to be removed via the 25th Amendment. Elements of the formerly pro-Biden media have joined in the condemnation. Many silent Democrat office holders likely want Biden out, as they fear the systemic incompetence of his administration will bring them down come 2022. But Joe can not resign or be fired. The Democrat high command will not let either happen (snip) As soon as Kamala Harris takes the presidential oath, the vice-presidency is left vacant. In that case a tie vote means the legislation, resolution, or confirmation under consideration fails.

President Joe Biden will return to Delaware on Friday to resume his vacation, but first, he will deliver a speech about the disaster unfolding in Afghanistan. The president is scheduled to deliver remarks at 1:00 p.m., specifically about the process of evacuating American citizens, SIV applicants, and “vulnerable Afghans,” the White House announced. It is unclear whether the president will take questions after his speech, as he has quickly exited the room after delivering speeches this week. The president struggled to answer basic questions about his failure in Afghanistan in an interview with ABC News, appearing stubborn
