Fall of Kabul: The Day Reagan’s America Died

Reagan / Trump = Defeat evil and maintain peace through strength. 0bama / Biden = Facilitate evil and create chaos through cowardice.

Reagan's America did not die in Afghanistan. The Bush/Clinton/Obama America died there. This is the low point before the great revival, just like Carter gave us Reagan, Biden will give rise to the next great American leader.

A catastrophic, humanitarian disaster caused by non-serious, feckless people doing a serious job...protecting the US and our vital interests...Biden and his intellectually lightweight minions of venal State, Pentagon, CIA hacks should NEVER, EVER be given any credibility on any subject again... “It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.” ― Samuel Adams

Reagan's America died with the collapse of the Soviet Union. But the US wouldn't take the win. Peace through strength became a failed policy as we invested and re-invested in military strength against beaten foes. When new bad guys rose we did not use that strength except once, against Iraq, restoring a potentate and embroiling ourselves the the Mid East hornet's nest...which led to 9/11. The motive, some suggest, was US military desecrating Saudi territory to kill Muslims. The American public and its elected leaders would do well to read George Washington's farewell address, which explicitly warned against trying to export the values of the American Revolution by arms. We were to lead by example, not be the policeman or leader of the free world. Who exactly are we supposed to be leading? What constitutes the free world these days?

Just saw our feckless UN ambassador on TV (a black female, don'tcha know*) telling how the State Department had planned for all contingencies. *Her other claim to fame is saying the following: "I’ve seen for myself how the original sin of slavery weaved white supremacy into our founding documents and principles".

The forces of "freedom" are forgetting that real freedom is knowing where the walls are. The former United States have chosen to outdo God by killing unborn children and attempting to make human being varieties by "science" - not to forget that the United States is tossing aside the reality of "one man one woman".

In California, your recall vote is not secret 4 replies

As the California recall referendum approaches, we know that the leftist California gang determined to entrench Gov. Gavin Newsom in power no matter how unpopular he is with voters, and no matter how much they want him out, has been busy. So here's the latest rig they've cooked up, exposed very well by an apparently concerned liberal named Jenner Asper. Seems the envelope to the state's mail-in ballots, which have already gone out except reportedly to people who signed the recall referendum petition, contains two holes. Those two holes expose the contents of the one-vote ballot in exactly the right strategic place.

Though removal from office once was unthinkable, Joe Biden has lost the support of most of the key actors whose support helped him win the presidency, and whose cooperation is essential to maintaining the illusion that he is capable of fulling the duties of president of the United States. (snip) Democrat officeholders now understand that they are at risk of losing their next election thanks to his sullying of the brand of the party that foisted an already-senile placeholder on the public. In a special election Tuesday, voters in Connecticut’s 26th Senate District, who supported Biden by a 25-point margin, flipped a seat to the Republican candidate.

In the wake of the Afghanistan debacle, demands have arisen in Congress for President Biden to resign or to be removed via the 25th Amendment. Elements of the formerly pro-Biden media have joined in the condemnation. Many silent Democrat office holders likely want Biden out, as they fear the systemic incompetence of his administration will bring them down come 2022. But Joe can not resign or be fired. The Democrat high command will not let either happen (snip) As soon as Kamala Harris takes the presidential oath, the vice-presidency is left vacant. In that case a tie vote means the legislation, resolution, or confirmation under consideration fails.

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said regarding Biden's unconditional surrender to the Taliban, and it's only the first week. Bookshelves will be filled with analyses of these events, and we won't understand their full ramifications for decades. My two cents, for what they're worth, are that the left doesn't consider the fall of Kabul and the betrayal of our allies to be a tragedy. Rather, this is deliberate foreign policy strategy, and it's right on track. The pattern is clear for those who wish to see. Simply put, the left thinks America is not only evil, but irredeemably so

Having created one crisis after another – e.g., a broken economy, a broken border, a broken energy supply and, now, a broken Afghanistan – you’d think that Biden would at least step up and lead us into some brave new Progressive future. That, though, is not how Biden rolls. Instead, he’s either played the blame game, hidden at Camp David or in Delaware, attacked Republican governors, dismissed as bagatelles the horrors in Afghanistan, and generally been weirdly disconnected. (snip) It's not just that the speech was false and inappropriate. Look at Joe’s affect. This is not a well man:

Biden’s pullout from Afghanistan has been the worst managed event in American history. (snip) people are wondering if the unconditional Taliban takeover, including the trapped Americans, is a deliberate policy. On Tucker Carlson’s Wednesday show, Lara Logan said, “Yes, it is. This was what the government wanted.” (snip) Logan posited that the NGIA, which controls government satellites and other armaments, has been watching the Taliban taking control of abandoned U.S. military equipment; bringing it back east into Pakistan. “The NSA and the [NGIA] are watching this happen in real time,” she claimed. “And they’re doing nothing to stop it. The seven months of the Biden presidency reveal a theme of surrender. Surrender is to give up possession of something to another, or to give up to some influence or idea. President Biden has surrendered so much on so many levels. The only question is how much is due to his abject incompetence versus a deliberate attempt to surrender America, the country he swore an oath to preserve, protect, and defend, to dark forces in the world. Start with the latest surrender, far from America in the war-torn country of Afghanistan (snip) He surrendered America’s energy independence to AOC and the climate warriors

Is Kamala Harris jumping ship? Sure looks like it, now that Congress is talking up the 25th Amendment to remove doddering Joe Biden from office for incapacitation amid the biggest foreign policy catastrophe since the Saigon embassy rooftop evacuation of 1975. Suddenly, Kamala doesn't seem to want to be anywhere near old Joe. First, there have been reports of screamings behind the scenes, according to commentator Jack Posobiec, who seems to have someone on the inside at the White House giving him the lowdown. Although the White House had intended to keep Biden under wraps for as long as possible, the demand that he say something – anything – about the unfolding debacle in Afghanistan forced him to leave Camp David for a 20-minute statement, after which he refused to take any questions. The important part of what he said boils down to one sentence: We had to leave and everything that went wrong was Trump’s or the Afghans' fault. Biden is a craven coward, a feckless fool, a dismal dummy, and a man who will soon have more blood on his hands than a thousand Lady Macbeths.

The Biden Administration, elected Democrat politicians, government bureaucrats, the education establishment, and clueless corporate management are hellbent on imposing Covid-19 vaccine mandates. These mandates could potentially apply to everyone over the age of 12. The FDA, at the urging of Biden Administration, is on the cusp of granting final approval for the mRNA (Pfizer and Moderna) vaccines in an unprecedented and abbreviated period of time, thus, providing the legal basis for the mandates to be imposed and enforced. A few days ago, on Aug. 14, I wrote about CNN's sudden about-face on Joe Biden's performance in Afghanistan. It was a shocking, stunning change; it wasn't half-hearted stuff. The Trump-hating news site ran a devastating -- and insightful -- analysis pinning the blame for the Afghanistan fiasco squarely on Joe Biden. Prior to that, the network had carried water for him, skewed the news, and engaged in sycophancy, to the point of ending up a target of James O'Keefe. Now it's The Atlantic's turn. Just this morning they ran three bam, bam, bam commentaries that also pinned the blame for the fiasco squarely where it belonged,
