Border Patrol agents come under fire from
Mexico while arresting illegal immigrants

Border Patrol agents arresting a group of illegal immigrants in southern California earlier this week say they came under gunfire from the Mexican side of the border. Agents were about 250 yards north of the border near Otay Mountain and were taking the group of migrants to vehicles when they heard the incoming gunfire. The agents and migrants all took cover and a Customs and Border Protection helicopter responded, but couldn’t track anyone. Mexican authorities checked their side of the border and reported that witnesses saw people fleeing in a pickup truck and motorcycle.(Snip)The Monday shooting in California comes on the heels of several shootings

Comments:

Agents in Texas also came under fire from people in Mexico, but why arrest anyone and incur court costs when they'll be released anyway? Migrants become New Americans the moment they set foot across the border, and Legacy Americans demand demographic transformation through mass immigration of poor people. Disband the Border Patrol and let everyone in. Use the Border Patrol budget to offset the local taxpayer burdens of free public education and free hospital care.

First they invade and now they shoot at us. If we had a president like the last one, we would let Mexico know that if they don't contain their side we will start shooting back and start coming in to clean up their country of the cartels and undesirables. It is an act of war, and if that's what they want, they should get it. Enough of this nonsense supported by the loony left.

Gee...we have a whooooole bunch of well trained and experienced scout/sniper teams all being withdrawn from Afghanistan and Iraq, (as well as other places/bases as O'Biden "reduces our footprint" in overseas locations, strange because he doesn't mind foreign "footprints" on US Soil), Good to at least 1000yds. I'm guessing some of those drones recently grabbed up by the Taliban would have been handy here in the Homeland as well.(instead they will be handed over to the Chinese who will immediately start building bootleg/knockoffs and ship them around the globe)

I do not read this the same way. "Threats" and "grievance-based violence" are not the same as a letter to the school board, or a speech at a Rotary club. .

People with a PhD are the most hesitant when it comes to getting the Covid-19 vaccine, according to a paper by researchers from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. Researchers surveyed just over five million US adults in an online survey, with 10,000 reporting that they were educated to PhD level. The report showed a surprising U-shaped correlation between willingness to get a Covid vaccine and education level—with the highest hesitancy among those least and most educated. Of those surveyed, 20.8 per cent with a high school education were reluctant to get the shot, and 23.9 per cent with a PhD were against it.

What will it take for Joe Biden to admit he is disastrously wrong about Afghanistan? The US leader struck a defiant pose last week. Sounding like a slightly desperate Olympics coach, he told Afghans it was their country. If they want it, they have to fight for it. In American politics-speak, this is called tough love. Without the love. Biden has more hands-on foreign policy experience than any president since George HW Bush. That doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing. Opinion polls suggest his abrupt Afghan withdrawal has majority public support. That doesn’t mean Americans will remain indifferent as the carnage and misery mount.

As the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack looms, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is crying poverty for the second year in a row. This time, it says it can’t afford to mount special exhibitions planned to mark the two-decade milestone. In 2020, the twin-beam “Tribute in Light” was canceled only to win a last-minute reprieve after soon-to-be-ex Gov. Cuomo pitched in state resources.
