How To Argue Leftists Into A Corner

Original Article

The Culture War is hot, and it continues. The furor over Critical Race Theory seems to have died down a bit (perhaps on purpose?), but don’t think we have won. This is likely to continue for quite some time and we know for sure that the leftists will not quit, and neither should we. (snip) Expect this. Leftists cannot tolerate any dissenting points of view and will resort to personal attacks, claim they are victims of our “angry” or “unhinged” comments and contrary opinions, and will bully us to stifle meaningful conversation. Enter their camp anyway and leave all the nuggets of truth you can.

The battle for CRT is just beginning. The Department of Defense overseas schools will reveal its diversity equity and Inclusion agenda on the 21st of May, two days before the 160 overseas schools open. How would you like to be a parent in that environment?

There is no winning arguments anymore. Not to the point that minds are changed. One side or the other may make better points, but all that will do is create even further resentment. Everyone has chosen their side and dug in. Everyone tries to score gotcha points but those do nothing. The only way anyone changes their mind is if they see it on TV or their stupid smart phones, or in school. The communists have academia and all the big networks including Fox. They hammer out their message around the clock. Its hard to fight that without similar resources.

with my liberal friends, I just break it down into simple questions, like: "If you had a young daughter would you want her showering with a grown man?" or, "How many genders are there in total?"

#7, you can also ask them this - if there are 62 (or whatever the current number is) genders, why are there only 2 options for those who want to transition? Another good one from Dan Bongino - if masks work, why aren’t they working?

The crt argument doesn’t hold water. Their are lots of black people who lead successful lives in our system. They are all around. Those are people who were raised properly and were prepared to be successful. It’s also very obvious why many blacks don’t succeed in our system, because they were not raised properly and not prepared at all for success. They also are all around. It’s very clear.

In my environment I can totally avoid radical leftists. They seem to breed mainly in big cities and when out here in the country they know enough to keep their big mouths shut. Justice is often conducted without the intervention of lawyers.

Most people do not know HOW to argue. Apart from the author's comments, arguing with people holding strongly held beliefs of ANY variety is often frustrating because they switch language and subjects like instantly (and confusingly) throwing a switch. Even we need to be careful to disagree respectfully and avoid ad hominem attacks and not acting as if getting louder was the way to win the argument.

Try this... "you go to your church...I'll go to mine"... it shuts them up immediately... the socialists need an adversary to justify their position...it's really about convincing themselves... but for now... just shut them down by saying..."you go to your church...I'll go to mine"...they need a "fix" for the day and when you shut them down they get rattled...

Thomas Sowell said much the same thing when he wrote, "One of the painful signs of dumbed-down education is how many people are unable to make a coherent argument. They can vent their emotions, question other people's motives, make bold assertions, repeat slogans, anything except reason." I would like to add, 'reasoning' isn't something taught in today's classrooms. In fact, it's downright frowned upon. You musn't question the furor's (professor's) teaching! If you do, you're part of the 'problem.' The problem being whatever part of Western society the professor is criticizing that day.

Critical Race Theory (CRT) must be considered to be pure politically based propaganda designed to separate the races and damage the USA. If CRT was on the up and up they would be teaching pre-USA history and USA history through the eyes of the people and the societies that existed hundreds of years ago. Those people and societies no longer exist in the modern USA. So CRT is completely wrong in blaming people living in the USA today for what happened involving slavery hundreds of years ago, especially when most of today’s Americans do not have ancestors who ever owned slaves, and for the most part were not even residents of the USA during the slavery era or may well have ancestors who fought with the Union Army where they may have been killed or wounded during the Civil War against the slave States. In reality if there were never slave ships coming across the Atlantic Ocean from Africa to the USA, that is before that practice was stopped by the British Royal Navy in the early 1800’s, where would all the descendants of the enslaved Black African People who transited the Atlantic Ocean to America be now? Chances are if they are alive today, they would be existing in some interior West African town or village, and in that case, would they be better off there, then living in the modern USA where there are long passed civil rights laws to protect them? Clearly CRT is about beating a dead horse for political purposes!

As the Biden administration continues to peel away the accomplishments of his predecessor, what I hear most from family, friends, and social media posters is a fear that Democrats have become power-mad with their recent ascendancy to a majority position in the House and Senate. They wonder if the current crop of radical officials is hell-bent on weakening, and ultimately destroying, the country that gave them those positions. Beginning with reversing President Trump's southern border policies, which has led to an invasion of illegal aliens unprecedented in our history, to the shutdown of the Keystone pipeline

Forget about the violation of Covid protocols — those are a passing fancy on the left. Barack Obama's sixtieth birthday bash this coming weekend threatens to violate just about every progressive virtue the Obamas and their woke pals have ever signaled. Officially, Obama's birthday falls on August 4. As I will explain, that may not be the real date, but the "optics" problem facing Barry and his bourgeois buddies is a more pressing one. As planned, some 475 invited guests and at least 200 worker bees will swarm the Obamas' waterfront estate on Martha's Vineyard, a tony little island off the coast of Massachusetts.

In just five months, California may well be the first state in America that effectively bans any pork products. This is because, back in 2018, voters approved an animal welfare proposition setting out space requirements standards for those who breed pigs, egg-laying chickens, and veal calves. While chicken farmers and veal producers across America have mostly met those standards, it seems the hog farmers have had a harder time. This is an interesting story because it touches upon the laws of unintended consequences and the effect a state like California has on the rest of America.
