Meghan McCain blasts Chris Cuomo

“The View” co-host Meghan McCain on Wednesday slammed Chris Cuomo as an example of “the worst kind of nepotism” after the CNN host failed to cover the sexual harassment scandal engulfing his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. The daughter of late Arizona Sen. John McCain was referencing a debate about nepotism she had on “The View” last week when she commented on the scathing official report into the allegations against the governor during Wednesday morning’s show.(Snip) “The Cuomo family and CNN are the worst kind of nepotism that the media has an example of,” she railed.

Comments:

Too rich. A woman who owes her position to her father, who himself was a massive beneficiary of nepotism, calls out others for nepotism.

The White House’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure package includes a pilot program for a national mile-driven tax, contradicting President Biden’s previous dismissal of the policy. Tucked within the 2,702-page infrastructure bill is obscure language requiring the Department of Transportation to test the feasibility of taxing drivers for the number of miles they travel. The tax would be broad enough to target any “passenger motor vehicles,” including light and medium-to-heavy duty trucks.” The bill also requires Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg (or their successors) to report to Congress about the findings of the program within three years of its creation.
