The Government Can Decide Who is Free
and Who is Not, There is No Freedom
Only Tyranny”

Many people have looked at what is taking place in Australia with jaws agape. Indeed, if there exists any system of western democracy that has taken more stronger totalitarian measures during covid than Australia, they are not easily identified. There were reports in early 2020 of the United Nations organizing 5-stages of COVID lock-down plans, with “stage-5” being the most restrictive; and the Australian government agreeing to be the beta-test for the fifth stage; the ultimate police state. If true, that explains the incredibly undemocratic and authoritarian controls triggered by the government down under.

It may be too late Skippy. Australia as a free country has ceased to exist. The death blow came when they gave up the means to resist tyranny...their guns. They have just been bleeding out since then. Sorry guys. There was a time when you were an inspiration.
Next country to commit suicide will be us.

#1 is dead on correct. Australians used to be known for their guts, toughness and bravery. Then they willingly gave up their guns and are being squashed like roaches.
We are not far from what Roberts describes in his speech if the left gets its way. We should learn from the Aussies’ mistake and never ever allow our government to disarm us.

Like most Western countries, Australia has been taken over by the Karens and their neutered Beta males. It has been completely de-masculinized. America is almost there too.

A very powerful speech but no doubt falling on deaf ears. Australia was a country I admired….it reminded me of the early days of America. How sad they have become neutered. Never, ever give up your means to self-defense.

You are misinformed, #1. Australians did not "give up their guns". Guns are, however, very tightly controlled and never legal to carry.
They gave up the most effective fighting weapons among the guns that they own, their "self loading" or semiautomatic rifles and shotguns. All guns are required to be registered with the government. Handguns are severely restricted to only target shooters and no guns are permitted for 'self defense' purposes, and no guns are legal to be carried. Handguns must be stored in a government approved safe, bolted down, and can only be owned by members of a sport shooting club, and an active competitor. Manually operated rifles and shotguns can be owned, also subjected to very tight controls.

I have visited Australia on business multiple times, and I admired almost everything about the country and the people. When King 0bama was reigning supreme I gave serious thought to moving there. No more. It's really hard for me to believe what has happened. The decline of western civilization is real and present.

Re #8. A coworker was a pastor of his own Christian church in Australia for ~10 years, then returned to the US. Casual discussions about Australia eventually turned into more detailed discussions over time.
He reported that there is deep dysfunction in Australian society which isn't easily noticed by casual visitors, but which is revealed to a pastor by his parishioners. He reported much alcohol fueled spousal abuse, and too many blue collar men spending most their time and money in bars with their 'mates' in preference to being at home with families, and leaving the families much worse financially.
Having never personally visited, and only seen the apparently 'sunny side' of Australia that outsiders see, I was very surprised. He also reports a deep seated hatred of all who succeed, a conviction that all who do well financially could only be there via criminal means. This view is the norm in former soviet states, too, from personal experience.
I have no way to personally assess the validity of this info on Australia, but he is a devout Christian, felt called to be a missionary type of pastor, and lived that life for many years, and I doubt that he is lying. He was always a sensible, sane, nice person when I worked for him for a number of years.

The UN - home of despots, dictators and tyrants. I'm ashamed we host them here in the US..

The Senator is right.
If enough people rise up & defy the Gov't it breaks the point of how many people it can arrest.
That means 100,000s to millions of people will have to attend the rallies, but the Gov't is forcing this to happen.
If the Gov't is stupid enough to then use force that will unleash the storm.
