Who, what, when, where, and why. Which two were not on Abbott and Costello's baseball team? I've been watching the Olympics (kind of). It makes good background noise while on the computer. Frankly surprised the woke culture has not complained about all the events that are predominantly white. With the exception of a few wokesters like the shot put idiot, there hasn't really been much.

The Golf was really good the last few days, no wokeness there and the Men's road bike race was good, that about all I watched and plan on watching, I'm done. NBC is going to have refund money to their sponsors they didn't get what they were promised,

Does it seem like less people are buying USA/Olympic stuff? Aren't the sponsors banking on consumer purchases to fund the sponsorships? Oh, well. So sad. Too bad.

Agree with OP...this whole article is a must read. Taki's take on fascinating topics not always covered on other sites is always informative and very often downright hilarious, like this one. In fact, lately, I've been saving his week that perished for a second read. He never disappoints...even when I can't figure out some of his obscure references.

The article is very good. Regarding Olympic golf, the Bronze was won by CT Pan of Chinese Taipei (AKA Taiwan). I get it, you cannot say Taiwan because that is an insult to the CCP. Be respectful to the CCP, or they will attack with more germ warfare.

Nearly 400 children between the ages of 12 and 17 were diagnosed with heart inflammation after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, according to a study published by the CDC on July 30. The condition, also known as myocarditis, occurred mostly in young boys, the study found. Heart inflammation was not identified as an adverse reaction during the safety trials for the vaccine.
