Why Democrats Don’t Care About Crime

Original Article

Posted By: DVC, 7/28/2021 2:41:33 PM

American cities are reeling from increased crime ranging from burglary and arson to murder. Americans, rightly, are concerned -- except for Democrat officials. San Francisco, a bastion of progressive stupidity, is among the hardest-hit cities -- yet the San Francisco lunatics who run the city claim anyone concerned with rising crime is a white supremacist. This is common among the Democrat intelligentsia and leadership. To understand why Democrats don’t care about crime, we must turn to two prophets of the new anti-American ideology. Antonio Gramsci and Michel Foucault are essential to understand to enter the deluded mind of the modern progressive and why they are happy

Comments:

According to the author, a criminal and a pedophile are the Dem's philosophical leaders. All ideas of crime, civil society and normalcy are, according to them, only caused by white supremacy. That you don't want to be robbed or murdered, or have your home or business burned, is proof of your white supremacist ideas.
And NOTHING that a minority does can be criminal, by their insane "definition".
ALL these people need to be kept far away from the levers of power. They ARE evil.

They don't care until it affects them directly, then it is Trump's fault.

This article conflates so many points it would take a like amount of words to sort it all out. Democrats and many other liberals (1) are using alleged "white supremacy" as a pretext and (2) are tolerating crime (as long as it does not directly affect them) simply to try to acquire and retain all-controlling power.

I wonder how long the " progressive stupidity" will put up with the mess created by these revolutionaries, I refuse to call the progressives ( that implies they are making progress and in reality they retrogressive). day after day we read articles about the crime and day after day it's not getting any better.

Interesting article; however, I think it gives progressives and democrats too much credit towards being smart and intelligent. Perhaps a few in the upper echelons of these groups have heard of Gramsci and Foucault but the vast majority have not a clue and that goes for the talking heads and the politicians promoting this rubbish. No, this country created this condition over several decades. Too much power was given to the media and we became a litigous society where you needed a lawyer if you sneezed. The country abandoned Capitalism decades ago and embraced Socialism in its economic policies and programs. Morality became a joke and most people realized that the "real system" was/is stacked against them (yes the American Dream and mythology were simply used to keep the population inline). We are seeing a well-crafted racket designed monetarily to benefit a few at the expense of many. The result is we have psychopaths and criminals in power, and the increase in crime serves their self-interests.

Every other crime is the same...every cultural Norm is the same, every aspect of education is the same. Not Providing it is racist/Bad. Like the use of the words "youths', "folks", "people" by the fake media, violent crime is fast becoming a euphemism for acts routinely committed by young black males. The numbers at least clearly pointing to that. Black males between the ages of 18 and 39 (if you include 16,17 year olds it gets way worse) are around 3 % of the population and commit 56% of all violent felonies. That should be a show stopper on all talk of race relations and equity. The percentage cannot be 3 because men commit more crimes and young men are more violent. But we should have a national conversation on what ratio is acceptable. I know that 3 to 56 is completely unacceptable. Democrat politicians should be forced to the table to discuss this every time they open their mouths on race!

Yes, # 6. The reason Democrats don't "care about crime" is the same reason anybody does or doesn't do anything -- because it suits their interests. The real questions should be, why does it suit Democrats'' interests to allow rampant crime, and what can be done about it?

There is something we are not being told that would explain the elites' extreme push to ensure that we all — regardless of age, health, or vulnerability — get vaccinated against the coronavirus, a virus that has an overall survivability rate of 99.8 percent globally (higher for young people), on a par with the seasonal flu. There has to be. Governments and media have never before reacted in this manner, even for flus, diseases, plagues, and pandemics that were more lethal than COVID-19. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. In fact, not so long ago, I mocked those who were.

Since the onset of SARS-CoV-2 (hereinafter the CCP-virus) various figures on the political left have issued proclamations unsupported by science. Experts have asserted things that contravene long-established infectious disease precepts, statements an uncritical press, eager to support the Left’s preferred narrative, freely mimics. Reputable professional sources have produced one-sided opinions only to have to retract them later. Authoritative sources have made statements in this time frame that have been flatly contradictory. (Dr. Fauci co-authored a paper stating that most deaths in the 1917-1918 flu pandemic were due to bacterial pneumonia, not the virus; he has since changed his position on the risks of bacterial infection from wearing masks.)

A Japanese company has started human trials of the first once-a-day pill for Covid-19 patients, joining Pfizer Inc. and Merck & Co. in the race to find treatments for the disease. Osaka-based Shionogi & Co., which helped develop the blockbuster cholesterol drug Crestor, said it designed its pill to attack the Covid-19 virus. It said the once-a-day dosing would be more convenient. The company said it is testing the drug and any side effects in trials that began this month and are likely to continue until next year. Shionogi is months behind Pfizer and Merck, which have started later-stage tests of pills to treat Covid-19.

Stephen Stills's brooding and foreshadowing lyrics to the song "For What It Is Worth" from 1966 seem to bear a great deal of relevance today. The band Buffalo Springfield sang this song as a challenge to the political power structure in the late '60s. Stills's words seem to be very relevant and timely in 2021 as the patriots are left out of the election process and isolated from power, denied power, and are now looking around. Many patriots are now thinking "There's Something Happening Here," but are just not clear on what it is, what is coming, and what the results will be.

As summer reaches peak heat, a recent piece in Time magazine on air conditioning exemplifies the rot pervading academia and threatening the nation. Eric Dean Wilson, an instructor and graduate student at City University of New York, wrote about how air conditioning will destroy the planet. His essay demonstrates the confluence of such intellectually fashionable ideas as environmentalist extremism, critical race theory, equity, and the condemnation of capitalism and “white supremacy.” Wilson has no training in climate science or mechanical engineering. Yet he teaches “climate-themed writing and environmental justice” at the City University of New York. Wilson describes his recent book

It is now over a year and a half since we first learned of a new disease that proceeded to spread worldwide and wreak havoc on our civilization. Actually, it wasn't the disease that caused such destruction, but rather the heavy-handed actions by governments across the globe to employ questionable measures they justified as necessary to protect their populations. We can now employ hindsight to see what worked and what didn't and learn what we can. As serious as the disease itself was, in many ways, the responses were far more severe, with longer-lasting consequences. If we do not learn our lessons now,

As sobbing congressmen and Capitol Police officers took turns talking about their psychic injuries, I was alternately embarrassed for them if they were really that weak, and frightened of them if they were that sociopathic as a pathway to power.
