Alzheimer's affects different people in different ways. Some lose part of their personality (my mother), some gain a new dimension such as a priest suddenly swearing like a drunken sailor (a friend's father) and then some have one of their personality traits heightened. They no longer have a filter to pull themselves back. biden is a jerk, he's always been a jerk and it appears he is becoming a dog faced pony soldier right before our eyes. When they are in early dementia they are aware there is a problem but can't totally grip what is happening, therefore when he is thrown into a situation he was not expecting (a question challenging him with out notes to look at) they become confused which causes them to become defensive. "I don't have a problem, you do". That's what they want to believe. They have difficulty expressing their frustration and often turn to loud, hostile vocals. When you turn on your own you know there is a problem. This is elder abuse and I blame the good doctor and the artist.

"The testy exchange came after Biden's meeting with the Iraqi prime minister" "NBC News reporter Kelly O'Donnell attempted to shout a question about the VA's new vaccine rule as White House staffers tried to shuffle reporters out of the room" "The veteran reporter told Biden she took his snappy comment as a 'compliment' " Cracks in the love fest. More mask madness from the CDC 7 replies

Just over a week ago, the Centers for Disease Control advised that vaccinated teachers and students don’t need masks. On Tuesday, it reversed that, recommending that all staff and K-12ers mask up, regardless of vax status. It also switched to saying indoor-mask mandates make sense, at least in areas experiencing spikes in cases. This is nonsense — and pernicious, too: The vax-hesitant lose a big reason to get jabbed if the shot doesn’t let them breathe freely. Indeed, such reversals also undermine the CDC’s entire claim to be making calls purely on the science.
