Fifty-three people have been shot — seven fatally, including a 17-year-old boy — in Chicago since Friday night.A man was shot and killed as he stood in front of a 24-hour convenience store Saturday evening on a busy street in Chatham on the South Side. As the 50th anniversary of the 1972 election approaches, it is time to reconsider the Watergate controversy that preceded and ultimately partially undid it.
