Democrats face these major headwinds in
2022 elections

History and a handful of issues threaten the Democrats’ narrow congressional majorities in next year’s midterm elections. Even though President Joe Biden’s job approval ratings remain solid if unspectacular, standing at 52.6% in the RealClearPolitics polling average and 51.3% in FiveThirtyEight’s, the first midterm election has tended to go against the president’s party since the 1930s. But Democrats are facing major headwinds beyond past precedent as they seek to hold on to their 50-50 split in the Senate — only Vice President Kamala Harris’s tiebreaking vote gives them control — and nine-vote margin over Republicans in the House.

Never count out the ability of establishment RINO Republicans to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

So what if the republicans take back the House and Senate. They are all part of the Deep Communist Swamp. Nothing will change.

Don't get ahead of yourselves. We went into election day convinced PDT would win in a landslide. Never assume until it's over. Over after multiple rat recounts.

It's really "53-47" The Dems can almost always count on the RINO Trio to stand with them. Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Mitt "Pierre Delecto" Romney.

Every week I see comments on Nextdoor - com that bitterly complain about the cost of housing and price of automobiles, gas, and groceries. People are stuck in cramped apartments or starter homes while the government spends millions on tents for homeless and force-feeds the bloated public schools.

RCP and 538 are the two biggest polling shills for Demmunists today. 538 has pretty much be recognized as only ahead of Marist as the least accurate polling year after year, and even with RCP averaging, they are pretty awful. Polling is propaganda for the ignorant masses. Ignore it. And - can some explain to me how we even have a 50-50 split in the Senate with 50 Republicans and 48 Democrats? I don't care who caucuses with who; either let Bernie and the other nitwit become Democrats, or its 50-48-2 with Republicans controlling. This independent who caucuses with is complete BS. Why did McConnell agree to that crap? There are more Republicans that Democrats. 50>48 for those in Rio Linda.

Black Lives Matter faced fierce criticism late Wednesday after posting a statement that blasted the U.S. and praised Cuba's government while the island was destabilized by historic protests and violent crackdowns. The statement – originally posted on Instagram and later tweeted and retweeted – blamed the U.S. embargo for the country's instability and credited the Cuban government for historically granting "Black revolutionaries" asylum. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, was quick to rebuke an initial tweet that linked to the statement. "The extortionist ring known as the Black Lives Matter organization took a break today from shaking down corporations for millions & buying themselves mansions to share their support for the Communist regime

Facebook fired 52 employees for abusing their access to the social network’s user data — including creepy men who obtained location data on women they were romantically interested in, according to a new report. Using their access to troves of user data through Facebook’s internal systems, male engineers were able to view women’s locations, private messages, deleted photos and more, according to a bombshell report in the Telegraph. In one instance described in the report, a Facebook engineer was on vacation with a woman in Europe when the two got into a fight and the woman wanted time alone. Texas House Democrats who have fled the state to preclude a quorum for a special session dedicated to passing an election security bill will be brought in by law enforcement "under warrant of arrest, if necessary," following a 76-4 vote approving the action Tuesday. Passage of the legislation, dubbed House Bill 3, cannot occur without a two-thirds quorum of its 150 members. Only 80 of the 150 members were present on Tuesday. In addition, Texas Senate Republicans are trying to pass their own version of the bill, known as Senate Bill 1. Senate members are expected to debate their version of the voting bill as planned Tuesday

It’s not easy to run a hideous dictatorship and still have fans and defenders in fashionable quarters, but the Castro dictatorship has managed it all of these decades. The mass, spontaneous protests that broke out all over the country last weekend are yet another sign that the Cuban government lacks all legitimacy. In Cuba, it is the government versus the people, and lo, all these years, Castro’s apologists have been with the government. They have romanticized Fidel Castro, the founder father of Cuba’s junta. They have swallowed its propaganda. They have made excuses for it. They have looked away from its crimes. And they have blamed America for its manifest failures.

Critical race theory (CRT) and education in the United States as a whole is shaping up to be a huge campaign issue for 2022 and 2024. And that's terrible news for Democrats. Recent polling backs up this perspective. Exhibit A: A recent Harvard CAPS/Harris poll found 61 percent of registered voters said children should not be taught that America is “structurally racist.” Exhibit B: A YouGov-Economist poll says almost 6-in-10 American voters have an unfavorable view of critical race theory.

Republicans are pointing to unrest in Cuba as evidence that socialist policies ultimately fail, despite a trend among far-left Democrats to embrace them. Thousands of Cubans took to the streets in Havana over the weekend to lash out at the worsening conditions in the country under the communist regime, as Cuba faces its worst economic crisis in decades. "Socialism leads to pain and suffering and Cuba is the perfect example," Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., said in a statement. "Biden must pressure Cuba to provide assurances that they will not fire on their own people. This is a major test for Biden. He must exert leadership and American influence."

Many -- actually, most -- big press and social media organizations have ignored and even suppressed news that has come from Hunter Biden's laptop. They started the censorship just before the 2020 election, when Biden's father Joe was on the presidential ballot and vulnerable to negative news, and they're still censoring today. But in the past few weeks there has been a stream of stories, in the New York Post and a few other outlets, based on information contained in the Biden laptop. The stories are significant and suggest, but do not prove, shady financial dealings in the Biden family. The question is whether some media organizations will finally admit

The Washington Post's Fact-Checker dinged the White House for claiming Republicans were "defunding the police," giving the eyebrow-raising talking point "Three Pinocchios." Recent remarks by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and senior Biden adviser Cedric Richmond had sought to turn the tables on months of some progressive Democrats advocating for slicing or even dismantling municipal police department budgets. Their logic was GOP opposition to the $1.9-trillion coronavirus relief bill passed this year amounted to supporting defunding police, since $350 billion was allocated for state and local government aid.

No one has milked the events of January 6 more than House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). She set the official narrative early and often, a storyline her scribes in the news media have dutifully repeated without question or scrutiny. “[Y]esterday, the president of the United States incited an armed insurrection against America, the gleeful desecration of the U.S. Capitol, which is the temple of our American democracy,” Pelosi lamented in a hyperdramatic press conference the day after the raucous protest. She accused President Trump of “sedition” and urged his cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove him just two weeks before he officially left the White House.

America is up in arms about critical race theory in public schools. Lawmakers in California and school districts in Washington and Oregon have introduced or mandated aspects of critical race theory in the curriculum; lawmakers in Texas, Idaho, Oklahoma and, most recently, Florida have passed legislation prohibiting teachers from promoting critical race theory in the classroom. But despite all of the furor surrounding these bills, many Americans still do not have a firm grasp of what critical race theory is and how it manifests in public schools.
