Forget CRT. America Needs Critical

Critical race theory may be the most controversial idea in circulation today. A Rorschach test for the American people, many view it as little more than an expensive racket to excoriate white people.Whatever your thoughts, it’s certainly divisive. The country is now more divided than at any point in recent history; further division is the last thing America needs. Unity is what is required. Not some sort of Marianne Williamson-inspired, flowers in our hair unity, but a commonsense sort. Whether our country can recover political unity will depend on the United States remaining a safe, functioning, sovereign nation. That seems like a goal worth rallying around.

My suspicion is that unity is now a dream as well as a democrat lie. As a nation, we allowed blacks and the radical left to get off the leash for a while and they have proven that all they want is division, destruction and a harsh, controlling government that puts all burden, discipline and punishment on the backs of conservatives and white people. If you don't go along with the rioting, looting and burning theme you will be robbed, beaten or killed. When the resistance begins, it will not be pretty but it will be "fair and equitable."

Unity is not possible when you import the third-world, which never had the same values or culture as our Founding Fathers, and try to jam it all together and make it fit. We had unity (mostly) up until the 60s when the left opened the floodgates of immigration. When you have a homogeneous society with mostly the same values, unity is possible. When your culture has been diluted by a hundred other cultures, most of which are diametrically opposed to what America was built upon, you get what we have not. Disunity. The Balkanization of America has destroyed it, its core beliefs, and its very foundation. We have been sacrificed at the altar of multiculturalism.

You cannot call yourself conservative and yet impute what you just did in your post (specifying that a certain skin color has anything to do with Good or Bad.) That's childish and mendacious. Gas stations across the country are running out of gasoline just as 43 million Americans are preparing to hit the road for the July 4th holiday weekend. Those that do manage to find gas are likely to find some of the highest prices in almost seven years, with gas now averaging $3.10 a gallon across the US - the highest since October 2014. Demand has rocked since last summer as COVID-weary Americans hit the road again, although the current shortages are being caused by a lack of available truckers to deliver fuel.

Lots of Republicans have ideas and plans to find better candidates and to raise more money for 2022 and 2024, but that’s not the answer. These plans won’t work.Take my home state of Nevada as an example. Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016 but still lost Nevada by about 27,000 votes. Then, in 2020, when Trump got the most votes of any Republican candidate in the history of America, he lost Nevada by about 33,000 votes. Nevada is a purple battleground state, just like Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Trump lost those six states by razor-thin margins. That was the whole enchilada. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations, however have not changed, allowing fully vaccinated people to go without a mask. In Denver-area hospitals, doctors tell FOX31 at least half of the unvaccinated COVID-19 patients are sick with the delta variant. The variant is significantly more contagious, and the symptoms patients feel are worse than from the original COVID-19 virus. Doctors continue to stress the message, that it’s the vaccines that will ultimately stop the spread. CORRECTION*
