Thirty-three King County Superior Court judges and four court commissioners on Friday signed a letter to Seattle Parks and Recreation Superintendent Jesús Aguirre, requesting that he shut down City Hall Park and relocate residents of a sprawling encampment immediately south of the downtown county courthouse.
“We are writing out of deep concern for the safety of jurors, Courthouse employees, the general public and those who find themselves unhoused and sheltering in and around City Hall Park,” the judges and commissioners wrote.
“As you know, conditions in and around the King County Courthouse vicinity, including City Hall Park, have been in a critical, unsafe and unhealthy stage for years.

ALL Demokrat run cities are under 'dire conditions '. It is just a matter of honestly admitting it.

So just move them away from the courthouse, but it is OK to let them infest some other area of Seattle. How about one of those remote islands in Puget Sound?

The city councils continued negligence in addressing the homeless problem has finally come to a head. When the liberal judges who gave continually ruled in favor of such encampment have had enough, you know it's a problem. Will these judges now need to recuse themselves when some advocate group files a lawsuit to keep the people in the park.

A few months ago I received jury duty notice.(I live just outside Seattle city limits but in King County). I use a cane and have trouble climbing steps so was told I didn't have to show up. But, I was incensed that if I had to go, one of three places would have been to this courthouse in downtown Seattle. I think the only citizens forced to do jury duty in Seattle should be the citizens of Seattle. They are the ones who vote these morons in and see nothing wrong with bums taking over city parks. ball fields, playgrounds and sidewalks.

Give them 2 days to get out of there or you dump them in the freakin ocean. These maggots, living off the taxpayers have to go, one way or the other. These parasites only know one way, their way. Well that has to change. Got it.

I was going to suggest moving them downrange at Yakima Firing Center, but I don't want Eastern Washington spoiled with this trash.

The University of Washington Seattle campus has many acres of greenspace where the homeless could be relocated with the added benefit of living in a community where they are unconditionally loved by the current residents and employees.
Why this has not been considered as the excellent alternative to their current squalid living conditions which it clearly is simply baffles me.

While corrupt politicians like Joe Biden demand massive new spending on "infrastructure," a reasonable person might want to review what kind of stewardship leaders in places like Seattle and Portland have exercised over infrastructure investments made by taxpayers over many decades.
In Seattle, vagrants are free to threaten whomever they wish, even in front of a courthouse! In Portland rioters just had felony charges against them dismissed. They are learning they can go right back to burning down buildings and businesses. In Democrat run cities, this is becoming normal.
Democrat Politicians are doing everything they can to reinforce the chaos in American communities, and on our borders. These irresponsible radicals are in no position to whine about our need for infrastructure, when they refuse to protect what we already have. Neither party should support Biden's wild spending agenda.

"King County Superior Court judges urge immediate shutdown of Seattle’s City Hall Park"
What do you mean you don't like the world you have legislated from the bench?
You did this!
Perhaps it's time to "de-fund" judges?

From the Enabler, part of December 11, 2020 article:
"Aguirre went on to defend temporary camping spots in parks for those without homes.
"“An encampment has been part of Parks and Recreation for a really long time," he told the Commissioners. “They are certainly much greater now, but it isn't something that we will ever be able to say, there will never be an encampment in one of our parks.”"
Another illogical puke.

I wonder. How many "residents" of the encampment have been released back into society by these "judges"?
