The Biden administration is planning to move interpreters and other Afghans who have worked for the U.S., along with their families, to a safe location amid growing fears of a Taliban takeover after the U.S. military withdrawal, a U.S. official and a senior U.S. administration official confirmed to ABC News Thursday.
The destination is not yet clear, nor is the scale of the project. But the plan is to move a group of these Afghans to a safe location as they wait for their U.S. visa applications to be processed, the officials said.

So, now what.....100,000 more Muslims over here? The last thing we need.

To get the Afghan interpreters and their families out of Afghanistan before the current government collapses (not a question of “if”, but when) is not only the right thing to do, it is also our duty.
Those Afghans that have helped our servicemen, shoulder to shoulder, usually under fire, are already marked for death by the Taliban and al-Haqqani Network, especially if we leave them behind.
If the Biden Administration does intentionally leave our Afghan interpreters behind, they are (again) not looking at the big picture. How do our current and potential allies view us then? Are we going to leave them high and dry when the chips are down?
Probably the one of the few good things that happened during my deployment to Afghanistan was sponsoring my interpreter, Jamshid, and his family for visas to the U.S. where they are safely enjoying freedom and freedom from fear in Virginia.
THAT is why we need to get them out of there.

Montagnards, Hmong, now Afghans. This is what happens when we lose. For all of them though, I agree with #2.

That's it, tell the whole world your plans so the last people left over there will be massacred.

I can honestly say, this is the FIRST and only thing the Biden Administration has done that I agree with.
Completely agree with #2 & 3! We owe them that much!

Afghanistan - another twenty year long Viet Nam war. ...totally useless, nothing accomplished, things return to as they were after we leave. Trillions of American peoples' dollars evaporated into a squalid hell hole. Even worse, 2000+ American sons, husbands and fathers dead for absolutely nothing accomplished.

I don’t like re-replying, but in this case….
The Biden administration initially balked at evacuating our Afghan interpreters. It wasn’t until several prominent figures rhetorically dope-slapped them to reality. To his credit, current CJCS GEN Mark Milley warned about the consequences of leaving our allies behind during his Commencement speech at the 2021 USAFA graduation ceremony.
Watch out however. Milley is a deep-state operative. Cue his statements regarding 6 January, CRT indoctrination, DoD strikes in Syria, and BLM riots last summer.

Every military conflict we get in or get blamed for colonialism to we bring in "refugees". This could be applied, except for Canadians, Brits, French, Italians and Germans going back to the 1850s (the Mexican / American war, the Panama Canal). How are those Somalis doing in Minnesota? Ilhan Omar loves them.

Another helicopter rescue from the embassy top. This is becoming the expected routine for Democrat run America.

I think obama is afraid of a Vietnam withdrawal from the embassy... remember how the pictures tore your heart out as people fought each other for a spot on the evacuating helicopters...any Nam vet I speak to says... the media lost the war... not the soldiers...it was the start of managed news.... obama doesn't like negative news coverage and besides... more muslims in America is just the ticket for this un/American fake president...

I surely hope so: Biden & Company let everyone and anyone over the S. border yet are willing to ditch those who worked with us in Afghanistan, where they will meet certain death!!!!!!!

This number of people wouldn't even be noticed among the illegals cramming into the border towns of Texas. They helped Americans, if we leave them they will be slaughtered. (I'm old enough to remember what the Nazis did to the Free French as Nazi's fled)
