Dem Rep. Green: CRT ‘Just About Telling
the Truth’ and History ‘That We Don’t Teach

On Friday’s broadcast of C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal,” Rep. Al Green (D-TX) said that Critical Race Theory “is just about telling the truth about how there is still systemic racism in this country today and that we have to deal with it and how it impacts the lives of people.”Green stated, “Critical Race is about the side of history that we’ve not made known to the public, that we don’t teach in our schools. Slaves were not happy people. We should not in any way glamorize slavery. We shouldn’t sanitize it. We have to tell the truth about what happened in 1619 and thereafter. That’s what it’s all about.

There is no such thing as truth anymore. Thanks to the political hacks there are only perceptions and opinions. As soon as I hear someone saying they have the truth, I leave. I know I'm about to be propagandized.

Oh bull. CRT isn't about teaching history. Its a Marxist/Communist indoctrination. Its about dumbing down people to make them think a certain way. Its a pack of lies and deception designed to created division, anger, hatred, and violence. Stop focusing on wrongs that happened in the past that have been fixed. The people that caused them are dead and gone. The law has been changed so they won't happen again. It is time to move on from the wrongs of the past. Start focusing on the problems facing the black community TODAY. AND STOP BLAMING WHITEY FOR EVERYTHING! Why is the black community mired down in poverty? Why do so many blacks do poorly in school, and cannot get a job? Why is the drug epidemic so much worse in the black community? Why do black communities look like wastelands and war zones? Why do so many black children have only one parent or no real parents at all? Why do so many black men have children with multiple partners, and do nothing to raise those children? Why do so many black women have children they cannot support with so many partners? Why has the black family disintegrated so much? It is pass time for the black community to wake up and take responsibility for problems of their own making, and stop relying on a clueless corrupt incompetent government for everything. The government has already thrown trillions at the black community with little or nothing to show. More money isn't the answer. Fix up your communities. Get an education, and get a job. GET RID OF THE DRUGS. Get rid of the crime. Get married, stay together, and raise a family. Stop going through life like it was a party.

A massive sinkhole in southeastern Texas that first grabbed headlines by threatening homes in 2008 began crumbling again over the weekend, ballooning to over 1000 feet across and 400 feet deep overnight. After years of stability, the rim of the sinkhole in Daisetta began crumbling again on Sunday night after residents reported hearing popping 'like a gunshot' coming from the ground hours before.
