In this installment of our weekly Sunday Six conversation, PF Whalen and Parker Beauregard of The Blue State Conservative reflect on Father’s Day and their roles as fathers as they discuss six observations regarding fatherhood. #6: Fathers are quite frequently taken for granted, and that’s okay. PF: To support this point, I would cite Father’s Day itself as evidence. While Mother’s Day generally comes with much more hype and pomp, celebrating Father’s Day is barely a celebration at all. I always use the October NFL pink month as an example of the importance of men in general in our society. While almost no NFL player will ever get breast cancer, every single player could get prostate cancer, and as a doctor once told me, every man alive will eventually get prostate cancer, they just have to live long enough.

I believe the fatality toll due to breast cancer differs significantly from that due to prostate cancer. The former can take so many lives, younger and older. Men with prostate cancer usually outlive it, according to any urologist I’ve ever talked with. And what this has to do with Mothers Day and Fathers Day is beyond me. ???

Something like ninety percent of prison inmates were raised without a father in their lives.

"While Mother’s Day generally comes with much more hype and pomp, celebrating Father’s Day is barely a celebration at all". Fathers are not Drama Queens like women are, who demand that their contribution to a child's development and welfare means that children must in return demonstrate MATERIALLY their indebtedness for life. Man get their fulfillment watching their children mature into principled members of society under his guidance. The deference between FATHERHOOD and absent or non existent fathers.

The exchange happened during a virtual hearing between associate deputy chief of the Forest Service Jennifer Eberlien, Gohmert, and the House Natural Resources Committee about public lands issues, climate change, and the impact of sun and lunar activity on the climate of the earth.

The COVID nightmare in America is over. There are other countries in which the virus is still a serious concern, but not here. President Joe Biden and the rest of the leftist Democrats are thoroughly disappointed with this fact, as they slowly watch their ill-gotten grip on tyrannical power slip away, but it’s a fact, nonetheless. By virtually every metric – new cases, deaths, active cases, vaccinations – the effects of the COVID pandemic on Americans and our society are rapidly disappearing. It may be too soon to declare eradication, but it’s not too early to reflect on some of the heroism

In two weeks, when Iran is scheduled to hold its presidential election, Narges Mohammadi will be staying home. One of her country’s most courageous human-rights activists, she views the upcoming vote as a sham. “The principle of absolute jurisprudence has invalidated all the principles of the Iranian constitution and reduced the power of other institutions to zero,” she told me in an WhatsApp interview from Iran. The country’s unelected supreme leader and the country’s Guardian Council, which vets presidential candidates and can overturn laws passed by Iran’s legislature, have consolidated power.

There is only one question we need to ask of the elites: Why should commoners behave as if the world is ending when the elites and power brokers do not? The earth’s temperature is changing. This is an indisputable fact, both in measuring data and using common sense. Of course it’s changing. Despite what is reported by the mainstream media, most legitimate conservatives do not question the idea of the earth’s temperature going through warming and cooling periods. For those that do, they absolutely deserve the scorn and ridicule heaped on them.

Although it seems like years, it was just months ago that Donald Trump was our President. One of the things that sticks out in my memory of his time in office was the response of Congressional Democrats to something he said or any policy his administration put in place. There was never a shortage of members of Congress who would seek out a media camera and microphone to not just disagree with Trump but also to denigrate him and his supporters, describing him and us as racist...

Large American cities, the vast majority of which are run entirely by Democrats, are deteriorating before our eyes; and the phenomenon is not due to the COVID pandemic. New York City is in rapid decay, reverting to its pre-Rudolph Giuliani condition as Mayor Bill DeBlasio is more concerned about wokeness and virtue-signaling than he is about effectively running the city’s government. In San Francisco and Los Angeles, homelessness is out of control, their treasuries are effectively broke, and residents have been fleeing in record numbers. And in Portland, Mayor Ted Wheeler has stood by as riots have been ravaging the city

Critical Race Theory (CRT) has been making its way into public schools for decades. Now it has reached a tipping point, aided perhaps by the realities of Covid and the remote school board meetings and online classes. Now parents, formerly unable to attend meetings of arguably the dumbest collection of people in elected office and formerly unaware of the dumbed-down curriculum of their children, are starting to wake up and push back.

CNN’s Don Lemon wore his thoughts on his sleeve in Sunday’s Washington Post Magazine feature on him (published online last Tuesday). In more than one instance he vented to reporter Eric Easter about just how racist America and white people were, while at the same time unironically lamenting about how we didn’t show enough grace to other people. At one point he even suggested that America may not even see blacks as “fully human” at all.The headline for the interview clearly laid out where they wanted to take things with a quote from Lemon suggesting: “We’re living in two different realities as Black and White people.”

Disney has been accused of pricing out loyal customers by targeting affluent families with $800 hotel rooms and $100 sandwiches at its theme parks, despite having scaled back its 'magic' since the pandemic began. A family vacation to Disneyland - once the pinnacle of summertime for middle-class American families - will today set a family of four back more than $6,000. With the average annual income now standing at $5,725 a month, this means a visit to the so-called 'happiest place on earth' is increasingly out of reach to the average American family.

It was widely believed, and not without evidence, that the media, Big Tech, and other Democratic actors were pushing Biden into the White House with the hope that he could be replaced if certain developments occurred -- that is, if his failing mental condition or corrupt past made his continued occupation of the Oval Office problematic. (snip) Why have the media failed to sell Kamala Harris to their viewers as someone ready to jump into Joe’s shoes, if his advancing debilitation required it? There are two obvious reasons for this failure. One, Kamala Harris was an affirmative action pick for the second spot on the Democratic ticket

After 603 were arrested in Manhattan and the Bronx during the most intense days of looting last June, 295 of the cases have been dropped completely, according to NYPD data reported by WNBC-TV on Friday. Now Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr and Bronx DA Darcel D. Clark are facing tough questions about why hundreds walked free after the looting rampage caused an estimated tens of millions in damages.
