Where is the Congressional Republican Outrage?

Original Article

Although it seems like years, it was just months ago that Donald Trump was our President. One of the things that sticks out in my memory of his time in office was the response of Congressional Democrats to something he said or any policy his administration put in place. There was never a shortage of members of Congress who would seek out a media camera and microphone to not just disagree with Trump but also to denigrate him and his supporters, describing him and us as racist...

Comments:

The problem might not be with all Republicans, but it's certainly applies to the majority. The Democrats make no apologies and have no fear, while the GOP acts like scared children.

The Republican need to have the spit and vinegar that Liz Cheney had against Donald Trump, only directed at Biden and the Democrats. They need to stop being so worried about the press/media reaction to what they say. It will be negative no matter what their comments are. However, it would be nice to hear that they even had an opinion.

Outrage??? Surely you jest. How long has it been since you heard a Repub. run on a strong national defense, law and order, reduced spending, etc., etc., etc.? Most of the GOP doesn't get outraged about anything but their re-election and their bank accounts.

The outrage is likely there. But those who own the microphones and cameras go missing any time a conservative has something to day.

Poor poor Dave. This article is nonsense. There IS no Republican outrage because there IS no Republican outrage. Trey Gowdy started out with a voice, and ended with a sigh. Nunes and Jordan have appeared promising, but they are either tired or learning how to live the Swamp life. This is why PDJT is our hero: he engaged and fought. He was outflanked and outgunned, but he fought. With 80+ million behind him. But expecting Republicans, either Senators or Reps, to engage and fight like Dims, dream on.

There is no question whatsoever that Democrats are better served by their elected Senators and Representatives than Republicans.

Do you really expect outrage from a Senate ran by Mitch McConnell? McCarthy hasn't done much either, but seems to be getting a message from the people that he better, or he too will be gone.

Large American cities, the vast majority of which are run entirely by Democrats, are deteriorating before our eyes; and the phenomenon is not due to the COVID pandemic. New York City is in rapid decay, reverting to its pre-Rudolph Giuliani condition as Mayor Bill DeBlasio is more concerned about wokeness and virtue-signaling than he is about effectively running the city’s government. In San Francisco and Los Angeles, homelessness is out of control, their treasuries are effectively broke, and residents have been fleeing in record numbers. And in Portland, Mayor Ted Wheeler has stood by as riots have been ravaging the city

Critical Race Theory (CRT) has been making its way into public schools for decades. Now it has reached a tipping point, aided perhaps by the realities of Covid and the remote school board meetings and online classes. Now parents, formerly unable to attend meetings of arguably the dumbest collection of people in elected office and formerly unaware of the dumbed-down curriculum of their children, are starting to wake up and push back.

The past year I have been writing extensively about what I call the “great conservative migration”; a shift in US demographics not seen since the Great Depression. Approximately 8.9 million Americans have relocated since the beginning of the covid lockdowns according to the US Postal service, and a large portion of these people are leaving left-leaning blue states for conservative red states in the west and the south. States like California, Illinois, New York and New Jersey were at the top of the list of states people wanted to escape.

In the past few weeks, there has been a surge of mainstream media reporting on the absence of a flu season. Outlets like USA Today, Newsweek, and The New York Times count as just a few names within the left-wing media cabal publishing identical stories. If they are reporting something, it can almost be certain that the reportage is untrue. Therefore, what is the real truth regarding flu statistics?

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began over a year ago, one of the primary concerns across the country has been its impact on education. The quality of education for school children being forced to learn from home via on-line learning has been so worrisome, many states have seen a dramatic decrease in public school enrollment as parents opt for private schools instead. In California for instance, public school enrollment this year dropped by over 160,000 compared to the previous trend of approximately 25,000.

More than 150 Republicans have signed on to a letter calling for people to 'reimagine a party dedicated to our founding ideals or else hasten the creation of such an alternative.' The letter, organized by former 'Anonymous' op-ed author Miles Taylor and former CIA officer Evan McMullin, mentions the ouster Wednesday of former GOP conference chair Rep. Liz Cheney. It raises the possibility of a complete break with the GOP and the creation of a third party in the face of what the signers term 'despotism.'

The removal of Liz Cheney from her House leadership position isn’t going over well with the Never Trump faction of the GOP. They have obviously failed miserably in their effort to reassert establishment control over the party. With the vote on the embattled Wyoming congresswoman’s fate expected to take place on Wednesday, over 100 “Republicans” have prepared a letter threatening to start their own political party if the GOP does “not make certain changes.”The existence of the group was reported by the New York Times, which also published the infamous op-ed that was written by a Department Of Homeland Security official

Speaking with Artnet, Biggers said that one of his goals was to add some African culture to the mix.“Biggers sees his work as as a companion of sorts to three of Rockefeller Center’s most prominent artworks: the Zeus relief sculpture at the entrance of 30 Rock,

It was said during our Mideast military adventures, and has been considered a truism of war, that you can’t really win a conflict without “boots on the ground.” For it’s difficult to completely subdue a people from afar. It may not be too different with battles for civilization. (snip) If you heard about a Third World country in which the leadership was purging the military of political opponents, would you assume it was just an exercise in ideological nepotism? (snip) So you need a purge. You do this by conjuring up a boogeyman — in our case “white supremacy”

House Republicans planted themselves firmly in the camp of Donald Trump on Wednesday when they removed Rep. Liz Cheney from their leadership team after her criticism of the former president. In a closed-door meeting in the basement of the Capitol, Republicans voted to oust Cheney after she repeatedly called out Trump's false claims he won the election and criticized his role in the January 6 insurrection. After a voice vote, Cheney said: ‘I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again, is anywhere near the Oval Office.’ Cheney had addressed Republicans in the room before the vote.

A group of more than 120 retired military officers have written President Joe Biden to tell him his election was less than legitimate – while questioning his mental acuity. The letter echoes former President Donald Trump's claims of widespread election fraud – which have not been borne out in the courts – and comes on a day when Rep. Liz Cheney ripped Trump for his claim that the election was 'stolen.' 'Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the 'will of the people' our Constitutional Republic is lost,' the letter from retired officers says.

The report contradicts Colonial’s public assertion that it did not pay the hacking group Darkside ransom following the cyberattack. A third person familiar with the ransom said the U.S. government is aware Colonial paid Darkside. Colonial declined Bloomberg‘s request for comment. The attack forced Colonial to temporarily shut down much of its services, causing gas shortages and rising prices across the east coast.

You have to love liberal media. President Donald Trump is no longer in office, but he’s still living rent free in their heads. They’re still completely obsessed with him and basically can’t live without him. They always need him as a focal point. The New York Times ran this “gotcha” story today, as though it were something truly significant, “Over 100 Republicans, including former officials, threaten to split from G.O.P.” What is the issue, the New York Times says? The fact that the GOP still is supportive of Trump. “This is a first step,” said Miles Taylor,
