Many participants in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots are being held in solitary confinement in Washington, D.C.'s city jail, a situation that's drawing scrutiny from Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bob Casey and the American Civil Liberties Union.
The Department of Justice has charged 510 individuals in connection with the Jan. 6 breach, which began when supporters of outgoing President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol with the intent of trying to stop the certification of Electoral College votes for Joe Biden as president.
After Jan. 6, Washington, D.C., jail officials decided that all Capitol riot detainees be held in “restrictive housing” as a safety measure for the accused. However, the accused found
'supporters of outgoing President Donald Trump'
False, as even the persons who entered the Capitol have attested. Why do media, even the Examiner, insist on repeating this facile talking point?

Being white in a DC jail with black guards is a bit like being a Southern Soldier in a Northern POW camp guarded by black Union soldiers during the Civil War..
But when you think about it being white in a DC jail it is probably best to be in solitary.
At least you might stay alive and not have some of it's regular customers sodomizing you.

Meanwhile - - the Pubbie senators are beginning to think about getting involved. They're almost ready to think about starting to pay attention. They're working up enough energy to begin a thought process.
It won't be long - - any day now - - when the Pubbies will start percolating - - start working up a head of steam. And - - of course - - the battle will be led by the Pubbie senate leadership - - in the person of - - who else? - - Fightin' Roy Blunt!

FTA: A group of Republican senators sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland Tuesday decrying the "unequal justice" the Jan. 6 rioters may be receiving.
Ohhhh!! Was it a sternly worded letter?? Do they even know if he read it?? Sounds like someone is getting antsy about all of the Civil Rights lawsuits which will be filed soon!!

Held without bail? If they were democrats, they would all be out on the street long ago. This has gone on long enough. Can also imagine they are in solitary for their own protection. The general population would kill them. Hypocritical that the Democrats are criticizing this. They are the ones behind this crackdown.

Hateful Democrats and their communist-like "Government Speak." Reminds me of "justice" under hard core communism.
"We're putting you in restrictive housing for your safety" in truth means "We're putting in solitary confinement to vindictively punish and break you because you're either (1) a conservative, (2) a Trump supporter and/or (3) a Republican."

Your not hearing anything about these people except from articles like this. Not even Fox mentions these people, nor any of the so called conservative talking heads. It's like they don't exist. This is a massive overreach. Their Constitutional rights are being denied and like everything else about this incident, it's being hidden. This is no different then what communist countries do.

The unusually harsh treatment is a clear warning signal to others. Don't mess with the Deep State we are out of your league. This has to be rooted out a destroyed if liberty is to be restored. Let us see what 22/24 elections bring.

The DOJ should be hung for this injustice. The Republicans need to not ask, but demand, that this be stopped, or they are going to pay for this.

The Road to Totalitarianism
07/11/2012 Henry Hazlitt
(snip)
the greatest threat to American liberty today comes from within. It is the threat of a growing and spreading totalitarian ideology. (snip) [ In this case it is Marxist Communism controlled by Marxist Communist Global One World Government ]
Totalitarianism in its final form is the doctrine that the government, the state, must exercise total control over the individual. The American College Dictionary, closely following Webster's Collegiate, defines totalitarianism as "pertaining to a centralized form of government in which those in control grant neither recognition nor tolerance to parties of different opinion."
Now I should describe this failure to grant tolerance to other parties not as the essence of totalitarianism, but rather as one of its consequences or corollaries. The essence of totalitarianism is that the group in power must exercise total control. Its original purpose (as in communism) may be merely to exercise total control over "the economy." But "the state" (the imposing name for the clique in power) can exercise total control over the economy only if it exercises complete control over imports and exports, over prices and interest rates and wages, over production and consumption, over buying and selling, over the earning and spending of income, over jobs, over occupations, over workers — over what they do and what they get and where they go — and finally, over what they say and even what they think.
If total control over the economy must in the end mean total control over what people do, say, and think, then it is only spelling out details or pointing out corollaries to say that totalitarianism suppresses freedom of the press, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, freedom of immigration and emigration, freedom to form or to keep any political party in opposition, and freedom to vote against the government. These suppressions are merely the end-products of totalitarianism.

We must start referring to these individuals as exactly what they are; Political Prisoners held in an American Gulag. How else can you describe over 500 individuals held in solitary confinement without bail for 5 months with charges that will in most cases be trespassing or criminal mischief. At this point they have been imprisoned for far longer than the sentencing guidelines for the charged crimes.
It is clear that the purpose of these incarcerations have nothing to do with justice and everything to do with vindictive prosecution for political affiliation. Stalin would be proud of his most astute pupils in the United States Justice Department. They are sending a clear message, it matters not whether you are guilty of any crime, the process itself will punish you no matter what the outcome in court is.
It shall be the eternal shame of our supposed media that this clearly tyrannical government action has been so easily covered up. They will get theirs in the end. The very first victims of any tyranny is the press, They will be the first to simply disappear.

#13 has a point. Despite the media's claim that the Capitol was rushed by 'Trump Supporters' we still don't know the makeup of the mob. Solitary confinement may be the State's way of keeping the ANTIFA/BLM crowd members from spilling the beans. Hence, the concern from Warren and the ACLU.
Lends credence to the term Useful Idiot.

Mass Minority (#16), you beat me to it!
My comment is:
Ever heard the phrase POLITICAL PRISONERS?
By the way, I would wager that the false-flag Leftists who did the real destruction have long since been released, likely either 'charges dismissed' or 'on their own recognizance'. I would wager that the people still in jail are the REAL Trump supporters, people who had small businesses, or working careers, who have otherwise never received anything stronger than a Traffic Ticket.
Anyone who has any knowledge, of who is confined, please chip in!

If we discover in a couple weeks that the 2020 election was stolen in Arizona -- as it was in all of the six Cheater States -- then I would certainly hope that these political prisoners would be immediately released and the charges dropped.

Imagine the ACLU becoming interested in civil liberties of non-leftists. You know this is pretty bad when Democrats start objecting. The difference between the treatment of these people and the BLM/Antifa rioters is blatant and Dems must be afraid the public will notice.
