Reporters Say Wuhan Lab Leak Theory Was
Disregarded Because It Came From GOP

Original Article

A number of reporters from mainstream media outlets have recently admitted that the Wuhan “lab leak” theory was originally dismissed because it came from Republicans. Jonathan Karl, ABC News Washington correspondent admitted to ABC’s “This Week” host on Sunday that the lab leak theory was not taken seriously because it came from the Trump administration but, “now serious people are saying it needs a serious inquiry.” “Yes, I think a lot of people have egg on their face,” Karl said. “This was an idea that was first put forward by Mike Pompeo, secretary of state, Donald Trump, and look, some things may be true even if Donald Trump said them.

Comments:

Imagine that. I wonder if the MSM will discover any other truths that Trump and other Republicans have told. Probably not. But a few people might begin to think.

That crow must have been so hard for him to eat. Donald Trump did not lie!!! He may have been brutal in the truth that he told, but he never lied. It just wasn't his style. He isn't a professional politician, so lying doesn't come natural to him!!!

Unfortunately, the lies come all the time from from the Dems, and mostly truth comes from Republicans....if you exclude, Romney, Flake, Portman, Collins, Murkowski, and that crew of RINOs. But the Enemedia prefers the Dem's lies to the Republican truths, so they publish the lies.

Of course they disregarded the Republicans. What do you expect from a wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC. So, Republicans, start your own news organizations. Oh, that already started, we are coming together.

What a surprise, said no one. Anything that comes from a right wing source is automatically mocked and disregarded by the leftist media elite. Yet those same media will fawn over and report—without any semblance of fact checking—every word that comes out of the mouths of idiots like Adam (I've SEEN the evidence!) Schiff.

One of the "hats" I wear at my job is worker safety. I have learned that some nice people are not always attuned to potential hazards and not all jerks are wrong about hazards. I have to listen to and look out for both the nice and the naughty, so to speak. I cannot dismiss a safety concern just because the person reporting it is a creep. Now . . . I have to know that for my job. Why the hell do all these reporters think they can do anything different? So you don't like someone or their ideas. Big deal! Report the NEWS! Do your job. As news reporters, you're supposed to investigate and report, not presuppose an issue before you've even taken time to look into it. You can't do that UNLESS your real objective is to push an agenda. But that's not news. That's propaganda. And in a free society that's wrong. The alphabet news orgs are just wrong. And they aren't making people free by providing information. They are keeping people bound in the dark. They are so sickening and sad.

A lot of people should be fired for not doing their jobs. The lack of curiosity among todays so called journalists/ reporters is amazing. Back in the old days, journalists/reporters would actually research or investigate things. Today they are all mostly liberal political hacks who do nothing more than repeat party talking points. They don't dare question the party line lest they lose favor during news conferences or with their fellow journalists. THey want to part of the popular kids club. God forbid they actually check the facts and say, "I don't think so!" They would immediately lose invitations to the best cocktail parties!

For most of last year, the idea that the coronavirus pandemic could have been triggered by a laboratory accident in Wuhan, China, was largely dismissed as a racist conspiracy theory of the alt-right. (Snip) The reason for the sudden shift in attitudes is clear: over the weeks and months of the pandemic, the pileup of circumstantial evidence pointing to the Wuhan lab kept growing—until it became too substantial to ignore. The people responsible for uncovering this evidence are not journalists or spies or scientists. They are a group of amateur sleuths, with few resources except curiosity and a willingness to spend days combing the internet for clues.

President Biden’s new executive order on climate change would basically let the government do virtually anything in any part of the economy or the financial markets, or labor markets, or agriculture — or anything — in the name of mitigating risk of climate changes. (Snip) The things the executive order will regulate and control add up to really the whole economy, all in the name of global warming. Massive and unprecedented central power would come from the District of Columbia and be exercised by upper- and middle-level bureaucrats. It would unleash government regulation and meddling unseen since FDR signed the National Industrial Recovery Act.

There’s a story that US President Joe Biden has told many times over the years about his first trip to Israel. As a freshman senator in 1973, Biden was granted a meeting with prime minister Golda Meir, who together with Yitzhak Rabin briefed Biden on the many threats Israel faced, showing him a series of maps. (Snip) So what is Israel’s secret weapon, Biden asked eagerly. “We have nowhere else to go,” replied Golda. Golda’s words are as relevant today as ever, with the past two weeks of another mini-war with Hamas and the accompanying spike of antisemitism only further proving her point.

For more than a year, honest and impartial scientific exploration of the origins of the Covid-19 virus has been blocked, with consideration of the possibility that it was engineered in the Wuhan Institute of Virology virtually suppressed, mocked as a “conspiracy theory.” This has had enormous real-world consequences, not merely because it let off the hook China – and Dr. Fauci, who approved American money flowing to gain-of-function research there on coronaviruses -- but because “an engineered virus behaves differently from a naturally evolved one, and this has implications for how it can best be fought.”

President Joe Biden has been moving at breakneck speed to undo every policy of his predecessor that he can, but he seems not to be giving any thought to whether the underlying policy is good. If former President Donald Trump made it, Biden will unmake it—even if he later has to remake it, as in the case of recently resumed border wall construction. Among the orders worth retaining that Biden nonetheless axed is Executive Order 13980. That order required agencies that issue regulations with criminal penalties to “be explicit about what conduct is subject to criminal penalties and the ‘mens rea’ standard applicable to those offenses.”

The disease spread rapidly, killing millions and attacking elderly populations in particular.

The GOP must die. The Grand Old Party is over and unsalvageable. The name finds its origin in the post-Civil War era as the party that saved the Union, but whatever positive connotations may have come with the GOP moniker are dead and gone now. Today, GOP conjures images of gray hairs at the country club and board meetings at Halliburton, and it seems the only thing it is nterested in saving is the status quo. There was a time when these perceptions could be dismissed as partisan pejoratives, but at some point, Republican Party leadership chose to embrace and embody the characterization.
