Following the Civil Rights movement, physicians took seriously their obligation to treat all patients. This principle separated them from the federal government’s grotesque 40-year-long Tuskegee Experiment (snip) Katie Herzog’s “What Happens When Doctors Can’t Tell the Truth?” examines a world in which doctors are silenced for fear that they will be destroyed professionally should they run afoul of the Critical Race Theory infecting medical care across America and in which young doctors, imbued with “anti-racist” zeal have the whip hand.

Every hospital should have a performance review of its personnel. People coming in late should have that documented in their personnel files. That is very easy to monitor, as each doctor has a key card to access the parking lot, noting the times of arrival. As for not treating certain patients, each visit has to be documented. If there isn't attention to a patient, that should be observable, and supervisors should note it as well in the personnel file. Personnel not meeting performance standards of care should be terminated. Patients not getting care should pick up and leave to another hospital. That would leave those hospitals with only the patients that don't pay. I don't think wokeness is going to be a winning philosophy for the hospital, or their woke personnel. There are patients, customers, that assert their rights. You want to get paid, you better do the work. Don't hesitate to report abuse, or personnel failing to do their jobs.

“Woke” can be boiled down to five little words: America Evil, White Man Worse. Don’t have a clue how you can remove this poison from our Republic - it now controls just about everything.

Doctors, like police are nothing more than employees at this point. They surr he’d their independence and autonomy to insurance and drug companies long ago.

If my doctor wants to be a social activist, that means they are no longer a doctor, and I will find a new doctor. If people in the emergency room get prioritized by race rather than injury or illness, expect rampant lawsuits against the doctors and the hospital. They will stop this nonsense when it hits them in the wallet.

A long time friend is a physician. I asked if I could switch to using him as my primary doc, and he said, that he's like that. I discovered that when I tried to get a first appointment....I couldn't because "he isn't taking Medicare patients". OK, what the heck. I checked back with the doc....."Well, I have no choice in that matter, it's the medical group, they have decided not to take Medicare patients. I can't do anything about it." Twenty years ago, he and several other docs had an independent practice. I wasn't aware that they had been bought up by a big medical group. He is no longer working for himself, just another employee. And he will do as he is told.

#5, that's the situation almost everywhere now. Most independent doctors went over to HMOs because they were being overburdened by governmental regulations/administrivia to the point where they could no longer 'survive'. Once you're on Medicare, the only way to engage a truly independent physician nowadays is to bypass Medicare entirely and foot the bill completely yourself.....many cannot afford that. There are a few 'independent' physicians out there, but their ranks are dwindling fast.

An old story about racist medicine from the father of one of my best friends. This was likely in the 1930's. A black man somehow contacted the blade of a buzz saw. A buzz saw has an unguarded circular blade about 20" in diameter usually powered by a tractor. The closest town had one small clinic run by one doctor. The doctor refused the help the man. The nearest black doctor was about 30 miles, 1 hour away. He died enroute. This isn't something any rational person should want.

The Amazon driver’s attack on an

On Friday, a very disturbing video emerged and instantly went viral. It showed a young Amazon driver viciously punch an older woman who had been unhappy with a slow delivery. While the video is shocking on its own, it’s also a loudly clanging warning about the dangers of Critical Race Theory (“CRT”), especially when allied with other leftist doctrines commonly taught to the young, including the claim that words are violence. As CRT expands throughout America, expect more attacks like this one. You can see the whole episode in this video. Please note that the older woman had finished speaking and was walking away

Paul Ryan (I know, sorry for bringing him up) delivered a speech at the Reagan Presidential Library at the end of May in which he sought to reassert himself as a leader of the Republican Party. His shtick was the same spit wash that Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, and George Bush have tried rubbing on the Republican electorate time and again since Biden's official installation. We're better than this reality TV outsider who hijacked the party. Boo to populism; yay to True Conservatism, Inc.! This is serious, people; we're at a 'crossroads' here.

Dr. Dale Brown raised on interesting question on Twitter about a curious redaction from the emails of Dr. Fauci that were released last week. On March 15, 2020, the mega-rich founder of Facebook sent a fawning email to Fauci, thanking him for his leadership and offering to “share a few ideas of ways we could help you get your message out….” After discussing how FaceBook can become an “information hub” for “authoritative information,” encourage people to practice social distancing, and offering to do a video with Fauci, the email closes with a final offer that is completely redacted.

What if "the narrative" is completely wrong? The question hit me in April as I read an AT post by Thomas Lifson that democrat pollsters "admit 'major errors' as they struggle to survive evidence that polls are now worthless." For me, evidence that "the narrative" isn't accurate came Saturday afternoon in the beautiful sunshine of Northern Michigan off the Lake Michigan coast as thousands of Michigan deplorables braved 90-degree temperatures and assembled to support an audit of Michigan's November election. The event was pure "Trumpicana" as even the inflatable Trump seemed to dance to "YMCA" in the background.

Now that we know from his own emails that Dr. Fauci lied to us repeatedly, will National Geographic go ahead and release its planned documentary film on him? Sales apparently have been suspended by publisher National Geographic for the planned 80-page, $18 book by Dr. Fauci that was to be published in time for Christmas giving. The documentary seems to have been planned as part of the promotion for the book. Based on the 45-second promotional video that NatGeo released last February, the documentary looks like an overdose of hagiography. The treacly score alone is a giveaway

As the media begin to allow the truth to come out about the origins of the China-made, Fauci-approved COVID-19 virus, it has become clear that our government and our media lied about it early on. (snip) The near uniform condemning of early treatment options for COVID-19 with HCQ protocol or ivermectin was strange. Never before had doctors refused to see patients with confirmed illnesses — and they even refused to provide any medical help except to say to go to the emergency room (snip) As soon as the China flu was confirmed in their state, my parents obeyed the CDC "guidelines" and went into isolation.

On March 8, 2020, Dr. Fauci famously told Americans via 60 Minutes that there’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. In fact, masks are likely even counterproductive, he said, because people don’t wear them correctly, constantly touch their face when wearing them, and the mask may give a false sense of security to wearers that may lessen other practical precautions to avoid exposure, like washing hands or physical distancing. Months later, he told us that he knew that masks actually would save countless lives, but he was lying to us in March about masks’ effectiveness because wanted to protect the medical mask supply chains

Today's Democratic Party, aligned with certain associated power elites, is actively fighting a second American Revolution dedicated to overturning our original one, with the objective of imposing a Marxism-style political order upon our country. Actively employing a totalitarian political model and methods similar to those utilized by the Chinese Communist Party, a cadre of elites in this country, including many in the business, media, academic, and celebrity worlds as well as many politicians across party lines, are working together in a highly orchestrated movement to achieve the goal of overthrowing our democratic form of government.

Sundance of The Last Refuge[i] looks into something that also puzzled me: why were multiple FOIA requests for the emails of Dr. Anthony Fauci all released at the same time, and why now? Using his time-tested technique of constructing timelines and comparing the current FOIA release with another key FOIA release, he constructs a thought-provoking theory. As so often in the past, he sees a tacit plot behind the events that capture so much attention.

Contagious disease outbreaks are named after their place of origin. There are myriad examples – Lyme Disease, Ebola, Zika, or Marburg virus, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and so on. Tradition changed with “COVID-19”, an acronym indicating that this was a coronavirus disease beginning in 2019. Naming this virus after it’s source location, such as the Chinese Coronavirus or Wuhan Flu is now considered racist, xenophobic, white supremacist, or any other novel woke-ism adjective. Perhaps a new name for COVID virus is in order. The past weeks have rubbed some of the glitter off Fabulous Fauci, the god of all things COVID.
