New details are coming to light about how Bill Barr and Chris Wray blocked President Donald Trump’s attempts to go after Antifa while he was still in the White House. To say that President Trump's second AG was a disappointment, is the understatement of the century.

antifa is " just an idea" according to bidet. "ideas are more powerful than guns. we don't let our enemies have guns..." Stalin bidet may be right - antifa is an organization full of white supremacists as well as white supremacists of color.

We all said, a long, long time ago, that Wray needed to go. I can't understand why in the world we could say it and Trump couldn't! Wray was and is a Snake. Barr made a stab at trying to be on Trump's side, but we, AGAIN, could see he was just getting in Trump's way! If Trump and runs again, and wins, we will see a completely different Administration!

Perhaps Trump's biggest flaw was that he was a bad judge of character in the people he hired or accepted in key positions. People like Barr, Wray, and even Sessions were woefully unsuited for the positions they were in. He seemed to have the belief, probably from his decades of totally running his businesses as the undisputed leader that he really didn't need any other support and could outlast and not be threatened by his subordinates. He was wrong. Period. A good CEO/leader is one who recognizes the need to cultivate and surround themselves with not just loyal but also competent and strong people running key parts of the total organization. Trump didn't do that. Either he needs to have learned from that mistake or we need someone next time who does. (And FYI, I happily voted for him in both 2016 and 2020, and would do so again if he ends up being our candidate in 2024.)

For all his real or imagined faults Donald Trump believed 4 star Marine generals would be patriotic Americans first and would not shive a sitting president in the back. He believes in the goodness of America and her people. Like President Trump believed people like Barr would put country first and devious scheming last. If the Good Lord is willing and President Trump gets his second term folks had better hand on. Lesson learned.

Barr was handling antifa in his own way. He realized that these young energetic people needed an outlet - - so he did his best to get them to take an interest in playing the bagpipes. Lots of antifa members followed Barr's lead. They are no longer violent extremists - - but instead they are now peaceful bagpipe players. If you look closely at the videos of antifa riots - - you'll see a small group of marching bagpipe players in the background. The larger the bagpipe contingent becomes - - the less violent the riots will be. Give Barr some credit. He had a strategy - - and it seems to be working.

Oath of Office I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God. President Trump’s one glaring error was in assuming that his AGs, FBI Director and the hundreds of senior officials in the DoJ, FBI, CIA and other federal offices understood that the above oath applied to them. Especially when enforcing federal laws against Democrat loyalists who run most if not all of the executive branches of government. And we are now in the midst of the Biden Administration where all oath taking is done with crossed fingers, rolled eyes and unconcealed disdain for the Constitution.

Well #19, too many longtime DC Republicans recommended too many snakes to Trump for appointment to significant jobs. I therefore cannot agree that those advisers meant well at all. President Donald Trump had banana peels strewn in his path every single day. Its truly a modern day miracle all he was able to do in one term. Barr had been in DC over thirty years. He knew exactly what he was doing every day he was AG. The deception and personal corruption of these people is beyond our understanding.

Ballot audits not withstanding, I doubt there is a bigger story that will surface this year and this one has familiar tentacles… As the discussion surrounding the release of emails from Anthony Fauci ripples through the media, we should all consider carefully the consequential ramifications of the discussion upon our nation. I’m not the first person to note that whatever Democrats accuse their opponents of doing, it is they, in fact, who are doing it. If you are puzzled why the Biden Administration scotched the Keystone Pipeline but gave a thumbs up on the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline to Germany, perhaps this explanation will help. Under the banner of “green energy” to control emissions. Germany began shutting down the cleanest emitting power stations: nuclear. In 2000, nuclear had a 29.5 percent share of its power generation mix. In 2020 that share dropped to 11.4 percent and next year every one of its nuclear plants is scheduled to be shut down.

Over the past few years, the term “woke” has been among the most bandied-about words in the English language. For those of us in our alleged golden years, we have always assumed woke is the past tense or past participle of wake (the state of being awake after sleeping). However, the current usage belies that assumption. In checking with the ever-reliable Urban Dictionary, the present-day meaning of woke is: “The act of being very pretentious about how much you care about a social issue.” In light of the mindset of many leftists and liberals, “very pretentious” pretty much says it all.

Canada lacks the miracle that is the United States Constitution. Still, as befits a nation the once-free British founded, it is a country that has traditionally had a few of what we consider to be core English freedoms – freedom of speech, worship, assembly, etc. Those concepts seem far away now, as Justin Trudeau and the various provincial and municipal governments use COVID as an excuse to crack down on those liberties. I’ve written before about Canada’s draconian and expensive hotel rule for people returning by air from overseas travel. It’s gotten so bad that people are flying into the U.S. and driving to their home

While it may seem obvious that the constitutional right to "keep and bear arms" extends beyond the home, federal courts have been debating that question for years. This week, the Supreme Court agreed to hear a case that could finally settle the issue, which the petitioners call "perhaps the single most important unresolved Second Amendment question." The case involves a New York law that requires applicants for handgun carry licenses to show "proper cause," which according to state courts means more than a "generalized desire" to "protect one's person and property."

Millions of sub-Saharan blacks seek to immigrate to America. They apparently haven’t gotten the memo that this is a wretched land of systemic anti-black racism. When they get here, they’re strangers in a strange land. English is usually not their first language. Their skin color tends to be very black, not the lighter color of American blacks who have an average of about 25% white blood in them. Despite those handicaps, they do better than American-born blacks. Compared to American-born blacks, their income is about a third higher, their poverty rates are significantly lower, their educational achievement is higher, and their marriage rate is double.
