In the months leading up to Memorial Day, 17-year-old Christian Juvet decided to restore a massive concrete American flag in his local California park for his Eagle Scout project. Juvet said he noticed that the concrete flag memorial was in "disarray, had graffiti on it, skid marks, all sorts of dirt and gunk on it." "I did some research and found out the historic significance of it and that it was actually made during World War II to honor veterans," Juvet told Fox News Saturday. Once he found out how important the monument to veterans was, he knew he had to refurbish it, so he and other scouts

It's nice to see a good news story like this from anywhere, but especially from nice from California. So much negative news comes from there every year, nice to be able to post an uplifting story about the good folks in California. I know there are millions, good to hear about them.
Well done, scouts!

Regardless of what the Boy Scouts appear to have become, a job applicant who was an Eagle Scout always gets a job interview around here.

#1, three of nephews became Eagle Scouts. Two enlisted in the USMC, and when they graduated boot camp were bumped up one rank from Private to Private Second Class automatically because of having earned their Eagle Scout status.

Why Are Media Ignoring Data Showing
Massive COVID-19 Vaccine Death Spike?

If these were any other vaccines, they would already be off the market. In fact, they would have been pulled a long time ago. Usually, a new drug is withdrawn after 50 deaths, which isn't typical because the FDA has a strict approval process. The COVID-19 vaccines have been exempted from it, instead being temporarily "authorized" for emergency use. These vaccines have coincided with 3,544 American deaths and 12,619 serious injuries as of April 23, according to the CDC's Vaccine Adverse Event Reports System database (VAERS, republished "as is" in user-friendly format here). The flu vaccines by comparison are linked to 20–30 death reports a year,

Scaring the public into supporting the economy-wrecking Green Bad Deal is easier if we hide the data on previous periods of rising temperatures. And that is what has been done by our very own EPA, as Larry Hamlin documents at Watts Up With That: The EPA has deleted (this chart and data no longer exist at the EPA website) its prior indicator climate data trend chart showing “unusually hot and cold temperatures” across the U.S. and showing the U.S. Heat Wave Index from 1895 to 2015 (shown below) that clearly established the unique drought and heat period of the 1930s.

From the beginning of COVID's outbreak in China, there's been a steady drumbeat of information saying the Chinese created COVID in a lab and, accidentally or on purpose, unleashed it on the world. The World Health Organization, the Democrats, the Deep State, and the tech tyrants managed to suppress that information in 2020, but it's roared back this year. Tucker Carlson put the pieces together in his opening monologue and, with help from Chinese scientist Li-Meng Yan, makes it plain that, even if China didn't deliberately release the virus, it turned it into a weapon of biological warfare by withholding information about it. Here's Tucker's monologue.

A pair of good Samaritans in Florida stopped to help a deputy who was being attacked by a suspect during a traffic stop this week, a local sheriff said. Deputy Anthony Zimmerer with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office stopped a black Ford F-150 after the vehicle cut across all lanes of traffic and almost struck him, the sheriff’s office said Wednesday. The driver, 41-year-old Frank Padilla Velez, began acting erratically when Zimmerer tried to speak with him, according to the sheriff’s office. As the deputy tried to handcuff him, Padilla hit him in the head

Renaissance education is the foundation of the modern university system. It was based on the concept of the Universal Man or Uomo Universale. As mankind was the ultimate creation of God, it was man’s job to reach his maximum by continual self-improvement. This idea led to the notion that men should try to embrace all knowledge and develop their own capacities as fully as possible. To be a Renaissance man, one must develop his knowledge base as well as his craft. Perhaps no person embodies this concept more than Renaissance artist, scientist, and inventor Leonardo da Vinci. In Leonardo, a duality of the mind and hands is found.

This is a truly astonishing claim because nothing could be further from the truth. You can conduct a quick reality check yourself. Despite their fervent accusations of racism, those who make them have not been able to point to a single racist law, ordinance or practice in the whole of the United States. This holds true across the spectrum: the federal, state and local levels. If the United States were indeed an institutionally racist society, you could surely find at least one law or practice
