At the “Big Screen is Back” initiative on Wednesday, Arnold Schwarzenegger and J.J. Abrams joined fellow filmmakers and Hollywood studio executives in an effort to motivate a return to the theater-going lifestyle.
As reported by The Associated Press, the event was socially distanced and held at AMC Century City 15 theater in Los Angeles. Before speaking, Schwarzenegger chanted, “We are back! We are back!” He described the importance of getting movie theaters back into commission and creating the experience of attending a movie in theaters once again.
“Now it’s time to get back to the big screen,” Schwarzenegger told the audience.

Democrats have been flogging the image of Kamala Harris for more than six months, trying to show Americans why she should be popular, and the public isn’t buying it.The efforts and the expectations of success by Democrats say a lot about the party and their myopic view of the voters, which has cost them dearly during the last three national elections. A party that tells most voters they’re “racist” and says those same ordinary people must be cleansed of their “systemic racism” and delusions of “white supremacy” shouldn’t have to wonder why people don’t like them very much. But the Democrats keep doubling down — as they did with Harris.

Oregon has gone from a liberal hell hole to 1930s Germany overnight.
The Oregon Health Authority is now requiring businesses and religious institutions to enforce mask mandates by forcing people to show proof of vaccination.
The CDC last week updated its mask guidance and said fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks indoors.
In order to prevent the unvaccinated from walking around unmasked, Oregon health officials are now creating a caste system by marking the unvaxxed lepers.
“Businesses, employers and faith institutions now have the option to adjust their masking guidance to allow fully vaccinated individuals to no longer wear a mask in their establishments,” OHA’s website said.

Hollywood actresses have been speaking up about how they really feel about performing on-screen sex and nudity.
Spoiler alert: They hate it.
Actress Salma Hayek recently opened up to Dax Shepard, host of the Armchair Expert Podcast, about her experience filming the iconic sex scene in her first film Desperado: “I started to sob and kept saying, ‘I don’t know that I can do it.’” She remembers holding onto the towel wrapped around her. “I would take it off for two seconds and start crying again.”
And Hayek is not the only one. Dozens of actresses have gone on record detailing traumatic experiences they had while filming sex scenes.

A federal judge ruled Wednesday that students of the opposite biological sex must be allowed to share shower spaces and dorms at a Christian college in Missouri.
Judge Roseann Ketchmark of the District Court of Western Missouri ruled against the College of the Ozarks, a Christian college which had sued President Joe Biden’s administration over its transgender discrimination policies, lawyers representing the school said Wednesday evening.

A critical race studies and ethnic studies professor at the University of Colorado-Boulder says Americans wondering why Black citizens commit anti-Asian hate crimes have an answer: “White supremacy.” The educational watchdog Campus Reform spotlighted the commentary of Jennifer Ho, which preceded President Biden’s newly signed legislation aimed at combatting hate crimes against Asian Americans. “Anti-Asian racism has the same source as anti-Black racism: White supremacy,” Ms. Ho wrote for The Conversation. “So when a Black person attacks an Asian person, the encounter is fueled perhaps by racism, but very specifically by White supremacy. White supremacy does not require a White person to perpetuate it.”

Donald Trump was one of the best American presidents in years for workers and labor. Protecting the interests of American workers and bringing jobs back to America was at the very center of his campaign and presidency.
In spire of this, the nation’s largest steelworker union decided to endorse Biden in 2020 for some reason.
Now the very same union is begging Biden to keep Trump’s tariff on foreign steel in place.
Reuters reports:
Steel industry groups urge Biden to keep tariffs in place after EU truce

It seems like a crazy urban legend: In China, drivers who have injured pedestrians will sometimes then try to kill them. And yet not only is it true, but it’s also fairly common; security cameras have regularly captured drivers driving back and forth on top of victims to make sure that they are dead. The Chinese language even has an adage for the phenomenon: “It is better to hit to kill than to hit and injure.”
In contrast in our country, BLM regularly blocks roads and in most situations, the drivers are the ones that took the hit.

Kamala had a lot more contact with foreign leaders, but she is a total disaster just like her Commander-In-Chief.
On Friday once again served as President Biden’s opening act ahead of his second foreign-leader visit to the White House.

Whoever wrote this is on bath salts. Is this for real? I mean I know media bubbles are dense, but this is something else. This is not even grounded in reality, folks Apparently, the COVID lockdowns didn’t trash the economy and it saved lives. Both are demonstrably false. That’s the hottest of hot takes regarding the virus. Dare I say, it may be worse than what Anthony Fauci has said about the vaccine and mask-wearing. It could rival that, maybe. The fact is that millions of jobs were lost, mental health issues spiked, our children weren’t learning, people did die, and the lockdowns didn’t do anything to stem that.

Former Attorney General Bill Barr denounced what he called 'militantly secularist government-run schools' as the greatest threat to religious liberty in the country as he made his first speech since leaving government.'The time has come to admit that the approach of giving militantly secularist government schools a monopoly over publicly funded education has become a disaster,' he said.Instead he made the case that school choice vouchers may offer parents the best protection from curricula designed to indoctrinate children with a radical, secular theology.Barr proved one of former President Donald Trump's most controversial

Dishonesty and hypocrisy surrounding Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s (D) secret “personal” trip to Florida are threatening the one-time rising star’s political future.
Like other Democrat governors, Whitmer opted to impose harsh restrictions in an attempt to deal with the coronavirus in 2020. After a spike in cases towards the end of the year, she reimposed many orders through her Department of Health and Human Services after her executive orders were ruled unconstitutional in October.
In early April 2021, as coronavirus variants were growing around the country, Whitmer warned Michiganders not to go to Florida for spring break.
